Kona Tiki Hotel - No Resort Fees

This hotel is such a gem. We loved having coffee on the lanai each morning with the ocean crashing on the sea wall below. Just beautiful. It was quiet at night and we were able to walk into town for dinner/shopping. It’s a great base for the west side of the island—we stayed for a week and did so much but always enjoyed returning to the hotel for a dip in the wonderfully refreshing salt water pool or just to relax on the lanai. Highly recommend!

Property manager is caring and great to deal with, accommodations are comfy, view is amazing, good location, AC can be missed on some days, but overall we loved our stay and recommend staying here especially in non-summer months.

My stay at Kona Tiki Hotel was peaceful and refreshing. The seamless self-check-in process with door access codes made arrival effortless, and checkout was equally convenient. The saltwater pool is a true highlight, operating from 7am to 9pm daily. Nothing beats starting your morning with a refreshing swim before the day heats up, and ending it with an evening dip while watching the sunset. The hotel's prime oceanfront location offers breathtaking sunset views that create the perfect backdrop for evening relaxation. One of the most captivating features is watching the powerful waves crash against and surge over the sea wall – it's both spectacular and hypnotically beautiful. You could easily spend hours just watching this natural display. The location couldn't be better positioned. Public transportation is accessible with a nearby bus stop (just be sure to check the current schedule), and the hotel sits right on Ali'i Drive, putting you 5-10 minute driving distance of numerous restaurants, eateries, and additional beaches to explore. The Keauhou shopping center is worth a visit. What truly sets this place apart is the peaceful atmosphere. Despite being centrally located, the hotel maintains a quiet, calm environment that allows you to truly unwind and soak in the natural beauty of the Kona coast. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a tranquil oceanfront experience.

Location perfect for sunsets. This little gem was a great place for us to relax. Our room was steps away from the ocean . We could hear the waves crashing against the rocks and feel the ocean breeze. Not a big or fancy place. There is no ac or tv in rooms, but we didn't need it. We watched the beautiful sunset from the pool area. Needs a bit of updating. There was some bubbled and peeling paint in the bathroom. Our stay was only one night in this small quaint place, but we enjoyed our time there.
