The equipment in the room is a bit old and needs repair, the soundproofing is very insufficient and the sound in the connecting rooms is so loud that I can't sleep, it most needs to be sorted out.

Reasonable price for our stay. Our room could see the still-in-progress rail connection between Singapore and Johore. The Ramadan buffet dinner we joined was very good. Much variety of food choices. I think there was live music but we were seated where we could not see but only hear. The day we came on a Causeway Link bus T21 from JB Central - though only 3 stops away, but the road was jammed with traffic. So it took a while for us to arrive at the Zon stop ( Zon is a duty free shopping area mall where Berjaya Waterfront Hotel is next to it). You can also come this area to take ferry to places like Batam, ....

Location is good But room facilities is old & dirty Water is rusty & clouded Anyway just a night stay

Standard decent hotel with nice views of the Straits of Johor. Entire check in and check out process is smooth.

The service was good and value for money as it comes with free breakfast.The staff are very helpful and the room is very clean. Much better only if its SMART TV inside the room so can watch netflix😂.The kid also enjoy the poo! overall stay is 9/10.

Decent price. Good location. Can find eateries and convenience stores nearby within walking distance. But the hotel is surrounded by clubs and bars, so it doesn't look family friendly in my opinion. Booked sea view room, the room is very spacious, the view is great. The swimming pool is clean, there is small garden at swimming pool area it's nice. On the cons side: The hotel is quite rundown unfortunately, the standard is below the par from other Berjaya Group hotels. It could have looked grand with more maintenance and upgrading. The surrounding corridors to the room are gloomy with musty smell, lift has tobacco smell, the decoration and furniture are outdated. On the day I checked in and checked out time, there were workers cleaning the main entrance lobby floor with big pool of water, why they do it at this time??? Room cleanliness can be better. There were small flies in the toilet and the room itself. Furnitures like the tables are dusty, I had to clean them off with tissue papers. The toilet seat and the water tap head at the basin are a little flimsy though, had to use with extra careful, I was afraid it may fall off. Torn bedsheet at one corner. The room that I got at 14th floor is not really soundproof. At night, can hear loud booming bass noise from the clubs downstairs when it was time to quiet down for sleep, very annoying. Not an ideal place for a peaceful getaway. The room came with breakfast, but it was very basic. Don't expect much.

Booked the place for a little R and R retreat with friends (added a cot bed). Have always been curious about the hotel looking at it across the causeway. I think it's a great place to stay if one doesn't mind the clubs at night being a little noisy, have to try and get higher floors and you will barely notice the sound. Got the room facing the sea and it's nice, not the greatest view in the world but pleasant enough. Staff friendliness and service level like in most other reviews are indeed there. There are some nice eating spots near the hotel as well (walking distance).

The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. It's a nice place to enjoy the fun and take a place to rest.

Çek in Atas urusan kje .. Suami nak pg batam .. Naik ferry dari sni bilik okay mlm agak bising sbb bnyk club sni.. 2 kli ddk bilik sma view sea .. Sarapan okay cuma 2 kli sarapan sambal nasi lemak masin .. staf friendly 👍🏻

Value for money, room is spacious, below the hotel got many pub and restaurant.

Location is very accessible in restaurants and also there is indoor mall and 24 hours mini mart. Cleanliness is maintained. Staff is very nice.  Highly recommended!!!!

I had a great stay at Berjaya Waterfront Hotel ! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The best part was the convenience – there's a Ferry Terminal station right in front of the hotel, which made it super easy to get to Batam Island. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a convenient and pleasant stay.

Good place for relax and have lots of cheap beer. It in the duty free zone
