Hotels in der Nähe von Candy Bear Lair, Jasper

Wir sind recht spät angekommen und sind neu in Jasper. So entschlossen wir, für die erste Nacht zu essen. Ich wusste, wir waren in Schwierigkeiten, als der junge Mann an der Rezeption einen Anruf für eine Verlängerung durchgab. Sein Kollege im Rückbüro sagte ihm, es war niemand in. Er schrie einfach und sagte: „Sachen passieren“, nicht für eine Sekunde denken, dass er schreckliche Kundenservice zeigt. Das war so anders als der übliche hervorragende Service, den wir alle über Kanada erhalten hatten, ich war überrascht. So wandte er sich zu uns. Als wir über das Restaurant gefragt hatten, wurde es nur zum Frühstück geöffnet. Und das ist, was es auf ihrer Website steht. Wir prüften da und dann. Es erwähnt es nicht! So fragte ich über die Bar - das war zumindest offen. “Ja”, sagte er. “Am Frühstück”. (Ich habe das nie getestet.) Er setzte weiter darauf, dass das Restaurant nicht geschlossen war - es war nur für das Frühstück geöffnet. Am Ende schrie er wieder und sagte (mit keinem Empathiegefühl) “Entschuldigung, was kann ich sagen? „ Es war so eine Schande, dass dieser sicher, unvorsichtige Mann das erste Gesicht des Hotels ist, weil der Service, den wir von anderen Mitarbeitern erhalten haben, viel besser war. Sie nicht die Zimmer, sondern ein Antrag auf Kaffee usw., wurde in 5 Minuten gearbeitet. Ich hätte gern echte Kaffeeschmuck und Glass gewählt, aber es ist ein kleiner Punkt. Die Zimmer selbst sind groß und komfortabel, wenn ein wenig gekommen. Das Hotel liegt etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß vom Zentrum bis zur Stadt. Und die Stadt hat ein freundliches Willkommensgefühl. Die Leute würden hallo sagen, als Sie ins Geh. Also, tut mir leid, Chateau Jasper, Sie müssen Ihre Rezeption Mitarbeiter trainieren. Oder sie schlagen vor, einen Anruf außerhalb der Gastfreundschaftsindustrie zu finden.

Das Hotel ist schön gelegen und die Zimmer sind toll. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig sind Zimmer mit Poolblick, da diese Fenster in den Innenraum des Hotels haben, die sich auch nicht öffnen lassen. Früh morgens gibt es schon kostenlosen Kaffee und den Tag über Eistee und andere Getränke.

We were part of a group of about 100 attendees. We were met at the entrance by very courteous and helpful bellmen. Some rooms had self parking and others had valet service. Registration by Freddie was prompt and professional. Rooms and cabins were well appointed and very clean. Our first dinner was served by Gina and she was very interactive and excellent. Food and drinks were served at a great pace and with professionalism. Our second evening was at a Meet and Greet buffet banquet with host bar and the JPL ensured we had a great evening! We enjoyed more hospitality later in the evening in the fantastic Outlook Signature Cabin which has six bedrooms, a huge common area with living room, kitchen, dining room and a couple of verandas. As well there is outside seating with fire pit and picnic tables. This cabin is secluded and allows for private gatherings. Next two mornings were golfing days. Brenda Dew is a great host for the golfers and has been for many years. She did allow flexibility for golf changes and special requests. The course was not in the expected historically great shape due to harsh winter, dry and hot spring and then snow and then 100mm of rain. However, this wonderful course still made for great interactions for our big group. Our group on second evening then had Cocktail hour and another banquet with again a tremendous buffet menu. The catering manager Jayde did interact well to ensure that everyone was satisfied. Outlook Cabin again to finish off the night. The JPL staff ensured that the Cabin was well stocked with ice, glasses and set up of dry bar. Checkout was handled very well especially with all the special requests accrued to the accounts. We look forward to our return in the future. Bellman Josh? gave us great assistance upon arrival. Freddie great at reception. Gina wonderful server for dinner. Jungie and Hazel were exceptional for breakfast in ORSO! Brenda Dew at the golf course is always perfecto! I personally dealt with Ashley Clerk as conference manager and she is truly exceptional in regard to her professionalism, great response time, ability to interact in a very positive manner and always anticipates my needs!

We stayed in a 2-bedroom unit at Jasper East Cabins for 1-night in early Oct ($449). This is a new resort, constructed in 2018, so everything is fresh, new, clean and impeccably maintained. The cabin, set one road back (no road noise), had a spacious common room with seating area, TV, etc., and a kitchen/dining area with all of the appliances and supplies and a large dining room table. The bedrooms were both the same size, with large, comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The resort's location, just E of the Park's East Gate, made it a bit remote from the restaurants and stores of Jasper (30 min drive), but next door was the Folding Mountain Brew Pub, rated one of the top three in the Rocky Mountains by some, and just down the road from the sister resort which had a restaurant open for breakfast and dinner. Overall, a pleasant place to stay if you want to avoid the bustle and enormously inflated prices in Jasper but, still a bit expensive for the quality delivered.

Ein wirklich gutes Hotel, vor allem für den Preis. Sauber, guter Service. Übernachten Sie auf jeden Fall wieder hier. Der Pool ist sehr gut, Wasser hatte eine gute Temperatur. Kann dieses Hotel jedem empfehlen. Starbucks ist nebenan, Mr Mike's Steakhouse zu Fuß erreichbar sowie Walmart und ein kleines Einkaufszentrum.

Late check-in ist verfügbar, ausgezeichnete Einrichtungen und vernünftiger Preis, ich denke, es ist eine gute Wahl für den Beginn der Rocky Reise. Danke.

Ungefähr 70 Kilometer von Jaspis entfernt, kostenlose Parkplätze, einfach zu essen, Frühstück ist einfach, aber entspricht den Grundbedürfnissen, man kann genug essen, es gibt keinen Aufzug, man muss sein Gepäck nach oben tragen

Zwei Nächte im Hotel. Das Personal war freundlich und laß mich mein Motorrad in der Nähe des Eingangs parken. Sauberes Zimmer, aber das Hotel und das Zimmer brauchen eine Renovierung. Das Business Center wurde unter Wartung geführt, so dass kein Computer w/Internet. Das auf der Website aufgeführte Restaurant ist für eine Weile geschlossen, aber das Hotel bietet ein warmes Frühstück für eine Gebühr pro Person. Hinton ist eine tolle Lage für den Jasper und den Park, aber ich denke nicht, dass ich hier wieder bleiben werde.
