Hotel seems to look nice at first - but actually people owning it and working there are liers, they smile but under that smile they are rude, esp. Mr Burak who has no respect to anybody. I had two reservations at this hotel - for 1 week and then consecutive 2 weeks. Close to the end of the week one my plans changed, I had to leave in 5 days, but my friend was coming to stay, so I asked if I can add second person to my booking for 5 nights, and then he will stay till the end of paid period while I will leave on March 21. Agoda said that it's possible to arrange via reception, so I paid 50 euros cash WITHOUT RECEIPT (!!! TAX FRAUD - but my mistake), and got confirmation that 2 persons will stay till 21 March, and then new guest will be staying till the rest of the term. Everything was nice until I left. The very same day hotel started to try to throw out the guest, and I started talks with Agoda. Had they did non confirm (but they did) addition of second guest I just could cancel my second booking, but they DID confirm it. Hotel was lying to everybody. They denied the fact they checked in second guest, denied receiving any payment at all, at the end they tell that Agoda didn't pay them so guest has to pay in full again (GDS payment is done after check-out). They were rude, shameless, they lie to everybody they spoke to. It turned out that they re-sell the room and used this situation as an excuse to throw out paying customer. Avoid this hotel at any cost! What seems nice at first sight can be completely rotten inside - and that's the case of Santa Hill Istanbul hotel.
