Pros: First of all the service I got from the receptionist was really good, she had someone carry my bags to the room and the location of the hotel is close to the airport which is very convenient for traveling after your stay. Cons: The room had a strong smell of paint, it was so bad I couldn't even breathe as all the windows were closed upon my arrival. The pillow cases in the bedroom didn't look clean to me I used my clothes to lay my face on because it was just nasty. The shower is not convenient to use, it's too small and you cannot move the shower head to a desired position. There was no fan or airconditioner in the bedroom, it was really hot. The furniture is outdated, some couches with holes in them it's a mess Overall, I will not sleep here ever again! The money charged is clearly just for being close to the airport because it is too much for that room.

Second time around, so nothing more to add within 2 weeks.. Lol. Clean, comfortable. The curtains could be block our though.

Lovely Place. About 20 minutes or less away from the city centre. The stuff was friendly and very helpful. The room was tired and clean. Little noise from the outside because of the highway. But not a bother at all. Definitely coming back the next time I visit South Africa. Side note. If you are travelling from abroad you might want to have an extension cord or adapter to fit the sockets for your devices. As the ones in South Africa are different from most parts of the world.

Good for a quick stay when you need to fly out early. Good location, basic amenities.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, it’s about 3,5 km from OR Tambo Airport so it’s very convenient if you wanna spend a night then catch your next flight the following day. Very affordable, the staff is very helpful especially the receptionists.

The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. There is a restaurant that sells delicious food and a bar that has wide variety of beverages. It is conveniently near the airport, I would definitely come back here again.

It’s a nice place, adorable, it’s very safe and a few minutes away from the OR Tambo airport.

First the staff there was exceptionally very friendly, professional and made me feel so welcomed. It’s amazing how quickly the staff resolves any issues that arise. This was my first time visiting South Africa and I really enjoyed my stay Airport Inn and Suites. Yes if I come South Africa again this will be my first and preferred place to stay. The only issue was the carpet in the bedroom and living room desperately needed to be steamed cleaned or replaced. Yes housekeeping swept the carpet when they cleaned but sweeping carpet with a broom doesn’t really clean the carpet. The carpet was very worn and made my feet itchy when I walked on it with my bare feet. But I resolved that quickly by always having my slippers on. Overall this place is very clean, well kept and the stafff knows the true meaning of customer care. Action always speaks louder than words. That’s why I gave Airport Inn a 3 for cleanliness only due to the carpet in the bedroom and living room. Warm regards, Brenda Valentine

The location is convenient in terms of proximity to the airport, for those wanting a cheap bed for transit, however, it is next to a freeway, so traffic noise late at night is a major disturbance. The front desk was kind an attentive, and did his best to cater for my needs. The pool is clean, but surrounded by cheap plastic furniture. The room was very clean, but appointments were quite basic. The bed was OK, the sheets were clean, but the mattress felt a little "tired" not very supportive. Some guests at the pool were quite noisy and could have kept me awake if I wasn't already exhausted from my long flight. I think I ought to mention that there is no shuttle service or airport pickup and drop-off, which is not what it says on the Trip website. It's no fun finding out this fact when your expected ride fails to appear. Getting an Uber late at night to or from OR Tambo airport can be a lot more difficult than one would expect. So if you're looking for a cheap place to overnight between flights, this hotel could be on your radar, but don't expect it to be hassle-free.

The room was clean and well decorated.The receptionist was nice.He explain everything clearly.He send someone to help me to carry the bags.In the morning I had a nice breakfast the lady in kitchen she was also friendly.I enjoy my breakfast. When I check out everything went out smooth.The hotel is near the airport.I will stay there again

The hotel staff were friendly. The hotel is conveniently located near OR Tambo Airport, Gautrain rail stations. My hotel room was small but fairly clean, including the linen and bathroom. Dinner and breakfast were good, but the menu choices were limited. There is a swimming pool but I could not use it since it was being cleaned. Consider adding a fitness room.

Near the airport at Durban. Spacious and clean. They have a nice pool. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Affordable and staff are very nice. Easy check in and check out. Hope South Africa can make check out at 12 noon though. Not 10 am. Lol
