The covered deck on the rear of the Kottage overlooks the river and provides a peaceful water sound effect to lull you to sleep after a busy day on the trails. Whiteface Mountain Ski Area is a 15 minute drive and the Olympic Village of Lake Placid is also just a quick 15 minute drive on a scenic road through the Cascade Lakes.
