"Ich übernachte zum zweiten Mal in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer gefällt mir, es ist sauber und groß. Sehr komfortabel. Die Lage ist nicht in der Nähe eines Einkaufsviertels, aber es gibt Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Das Frühstück ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen, es gibt viel Auswahl beim Frühstück.
Werde wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten, wenn der Preis stimmt, wenn ich wieder nach Malakka komme.
Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass die Schallisolierung nicht gut genug ist, man kann nachts das Schnarchen des Nachbarn hören.
Ich habe 2 Zimmer gebucht, aber wir können nicht nebeneinander übernachten."

"Schnell ein- und auschecken, viele Parkplätze verfügbar. Ich habe ein Zimmer für 3 Personen gebucht, es sah anständig auf den ersten Blick, aber Sie können schmutzige Patches auf der Wand, Mollplätze und Seifen in der Badezimmer sehen. Die Betten sind niedrig, was für diejenigen mit Rückenschmerzen schwierig, und wirklich alt und machte schüttende Klang. Aircond funktionierte gut, aber das gleiche kann nicht über das TV und den Haartrockner gesagt werden. Es gibt keine Minibar, obwohl es im Foto gezeigt wird. Das Eisen- und Ironing-Bord befindet sich außerhalb des Zimmers. Einige Einrichtungen, d. h. Zahnbürste, Komb wurden nicht bereitgestellt. Vielleicht war ich mit dem Zimmer unglücklich und es fühlte sich wie bei einem 2-star.
Wir hatten Frühstücksbuffet im Restaurant Bemban, das Essen war gut mit anständigen Optionen. Das Abendessen im Asahan Coffee war auch großartig, vor allem der Fischkopf Curry war soo gut.
Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, aber es sollte wirklich mehr in die Wohnung und die Wartung von Möbeln und Geräten investieren."

"Ging Genting vor Malacca. Ich hatte die gleiche Anfrage im Genting Hotel und in Hatten, aber nur Hatten erfüllte alle meine Voranfragen, als ich in 3 Zimmern eincheckte.
In der Nacht entschieden wir uns ziemlich spontan, eine weitere Nacht mit demselben Zimmertyp zu verlängern.
Das Hotelpersonal half uns, im selben Zimmer zu bleiben, ohne die Mühe zu haben, in ein anderes Zimmer umzuziehen.

Das Hotel ist in der Regel ok und akzeptabel, aber für den Preis von RM450 pro Nacht ist ein bisschen auf der Höhe, da die Lage weit von der Jonker Street entfernt ist. Buffet Frühstück war wirklich groß, viele Wahlen."

"I recently stayed at the Mudzaffar Hotel in Melaka, and while the hotel offers a convenient location and decent amenities, there were a couple of issues that affected my overall experience. Firstly, the room had an unpleasant carpet odor that was hard to ignore. Additionally, the room did not have a fridge, which was a downside for those looking to store perishables or cool drinks.
These shortcomings aside, the hotel shows potential and could be a comfortable stay if these issues are addressed by the management."

"Das Hotel liegt im Stadtzentrum, was für jeden Touristen sehr praktisch ist. Für jeden Gast stehen kostenlose Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen ganz in der Nähe, Dataran Pahlawan, Mahkota Parade, Afamosa, Melaka River Cruise, Malacca Tower und Jonker Street sind vom Hotel aus zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist eine sehr strategische Lage, wenn Sie die nahegelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten besuchen möchten. Die hauseigenen Restaurants sind ebenfalls erschwinglich.
Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, aber einige Dinge könnten verbessert werden, wie die Schalldämmung der Haupttür und die Fehlfunktion des AC-Thermostats.

"Room is within Pines Hotel. Room with twin beds is huge. There was also a sofa that could become a sofa bed. Good level of cleanliness for room and toilet. Had a small table in a partial kitchenette with a sink and small fridge. Bed was comfortable enough. Aircon worked well. Only local TV channels, not very good reception. Couldn’t connect to the wifi. Location wise, it’s next to a big main road on one side and the Melaka River on the other, about a 20min walk to Jonker St area. There’s an open air food court opposite (Wong Kok) with good Chinese food. Further down on the same side as the hotel, there’s a roti canai shop, a yong tau foo shop, a roti john shop and a minimart. Won’t go hungry. Buy your own water. Would recommend for the low price."

"We stayed for 5 nights at the Pines. We booked the Junior Suite and the room was sizable, clean and nice. Bed was comfortable and the aircon is good. Travelling around was easy from the hotel via Grab. However, I have the following feedback regarding the hotel:-
a) The hotel restaurant did not serve dinner and on rainy days, it is very inconvenient for the hotel guests to travel out to have dinner.
b) We asked for umbrellas so we could go out for dinner but the hotel reception told us that they have only one umbrella and that it is spoilt. A little disappointed that the 4-star hotel did not even have functional umbrellas that the guest could borrow.
c) There was no lounge deck chairs at the pool area which is not quite what I expected.
d) The gym was stuffy and smelly as the aircon was not on even during operating hours.
e) The WiFi was unreliable and sometimes there is no connectivity at all.
Hopefully, the hotel can improve on the above."

"Das Haupthaus mit den Check in ist ein wunderschönes altes Gebäude mit einer fast authentischen Inneneinrichtung. Man geht dann zur Hintertür raus am sehr kleinen Pool vorbei ins 10-stöckige Haus mit den Zimmern und dem SPA-Bereich. Die Zimmer sind schön Kolonial eingerichtet und ausreichend groß. Highlight ist das offene Bad mit einer schönen Badewanne das mit Schiebetüren geschlossen werden kann. Das Frühstück wird im ersten Stock des Haupthausen serviert. Der Raum ist schön eingerichtet und der Service ist Exzellent. Das Frühstück selber bestellt man A la Carte und beinhaltet westliches wie auch lokales Essen. Eher Durchschnitt.
Check in und auch Check out ging flott. Hervorzuheben ist das freundliche Personal. Alles ist sehr professionell. Ein großer Parkplatz ist neben dem Hotel."

GGastnutzerDiesmal habe ich in einem Zimmer mit Meerblick übernachtet. Die Hoteleinrichtungen sind vom Sicherheitsdienst bis zum Rezeptionsservice sehr freundlich. Das Hotel liegt ruhig mitten im Trubel und nicht weit von der Jichang-Straße entfernt. Es ist ein sehr gutes Aufenthaltserlebnis.

GGastnutzerThe location was fine and the house was historical but we had two major issues with this place.
First, the water from the sink looked orange. So we were too scared to use it for washing let alone drinking. We had to rely on the provided bottled water.
Second, the toilet was outside of the room (we booked a garden room). So we had to sit in heat and mosquitos whenever we used the toilet.
Additionally, we didn't like that they insisted on paying the deposit which was never mentioned in the booking confirmation or room information. We also had some communication issues when getting back the deposit after check out as the staff couldn't speak English and had to call another staff to understand what was going on.

MmiooI recently spent one night at the Asiatic Hotel in Malacca and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within short driving distance of key attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys, making it a good base for sightseeing.
The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming and work.
While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca.
If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.

YYKSee90Ich habe vor kurzem 3 Tage und 2 Nächte im Hotel Tamara Melaka verblieben. Während das Hotel aus dem Außenbereich neu, sauber und modern aussehend war und der Lobbyraum ziemlich stilvoll und geräumig war. Leider ging mein Aufenthalt nicht ganz reibungslos.
🚪 Check-in & First Impressions
Die Eincheckung war gut, und das Innenhaus sah poliert aus, mit einem sauberen Empfangsbereich und einem hellen Dekor. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam, was ich geschätzt habe.
🚽 Die Hauptfrage: Toilettengeräusche
Aber die größte Frage während meines Aufenthalts war der unbehagliche Geruch, der aus dem Toilette in unserem ersten Zimmer kam. Ich habe es an das Frontdesk gemeldet, und sie schickten schnell Haushalter, um es gründlich zu reinigen, was ich geschätzt habe. Leider, auch nach dem Reinigen, kam der Geruch später an diesem Abend zurück, als wir aus dem Abendessen kamen.
Wir baten um einen Zimmerwechsel, aber das Hotel wurde in der Nacht voll reserviert. Die einzige verfügbare Option war ein Doppelbettzimmer, das nicht ideal war, aber wir hatten keine Wahl, da der Toilettengeräusch wirklich untragbar war. Danke, das zweite Zimmer war viel besser. Rein, ohne Geruch und alles funktionierte wie erwartet. Ich freue mich, dass das Hotelteam unseren Antrag trotz seiner vollen Befriedigung befriedigt hat.
👍 Was ich mag:
• Schöne, moderne Lobby und gemeinsame Bereiche
• Schnell antworten von Mitarbeitern, wenn ich das Problem aufgeworfen habe
• Zweites Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel
• Schöne Berührungen wie helle Blumen und ein dekoratives Trishaw in der Lobby
👎 Was könnte verbessert werden:
• Der erste Raum hatte ernste Probleme mit Blei/Sanitär
• Es dauerte eine Raumänderung, um das Problem zu lösen.
• Twin bed instead of a king, not ideal, but understandable due to availability
⭐ Schlussgedanken:
Insgesamt war dies nicht der angenehmenste Hotel-Stadt wegen der Zimmerfrage. Ich verspreche jedoch dem Personal Kredit, um ihr Bestes zu versuchen, zu helfen. Wenn die Wartung verbessert und die Zimmer besser kontrolliert werden, bevor die Gäste ankommen, das Hotel hat ein gutes Potenzial.
Bewertung: 6.5/10
Ich könnte nochmal überlegen, aber nur wenn ich sicher bin, dass ein gut unterhaltsberechtigtes Zimmer ist.

Pros:
- private enclosed open car park, no worries for safety, only hot sun.
- perfect location allowed us to walk to popular places such as St Peter’s Church, St Paul’s Hill, Christ Church, Jonker Street, etc.
- service is simple but sufficient, no excessive wastage of any sort.
- Water dispenser at lobby and corridors outside rooms.
- basic amenities, bring own shower gels and shampoo, etc.
Cons:
- soundproof is average, but didn’t bother me at all.

Room is clean and nice except the aircon is centralised air conditioning and cannot adjust the temperature. Room is rather warm (around 26 degrees). Requested for a standing fan but it’s not available.

Ich war eine Nacht in diesem Hotel auf der Durchreise. Obwohl die direkte Umgebung etwas heruntergekommen ist, liegt das Hotel sehr zentral um die Sehenswürdigkeiten zu sehen.
Viel Ausstattung (gutes Gym, Pool, Parkplatz,…).
Essen geschmacklich gut, Aussehen naja. (größeres Angebot wäre auch toll!)
Zimmer und Hotel sind an sich sehr schön!
ABER leider wird wenig Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt und das Hotel müsste dringend renoviert und modernisiert werden. Dachterasse absolut marode, Pool zwar an sich echt schön aber in schlechtem Zustand (Fließen wirken als wären Algen oder Schimmel drin), Restaurant dringend modernisierungsbedürftig.
Sauberkeit im Restaurant (dreckige Stühle, Tische werden nicht gewischt und Geschirr mit Essensrückständen) und wie vorher erwähnt der Poolbereich sind meiner Meinung nach unhygienisch.
Zimmer wirkte leider absolut nicht geputzt: dunkle Haare auf dem Nachttisch im Bad und im Bett ( ich bin blond), sehr dreckig unterm Bett, Ablagen leider auch nicht wirklich sauber und die Duschköpfe rostig(Tausch wäre nötig).
Abschließend kann ich sagen dass das Hotel an sich schön ist, eine gute Lage hat und an sich auch viel Ausstattung hat, aber im aktuellen Zustand einfach nicht zu empfehlen ist.
Etwas schade da man alles (leicht) beheben könnte….

GGastnutzerThe hotel has provided the facilities as committed in their booking-page in the acceptable condition to their customer, i.e. me. Despite it is a budget hotel only and the overall appearance is slightly vintage :D, the room, the bed/mattress/blanket, bathroom, showering water heater, etc. are still clean and in acceptable condition. Besides, if communicated/spoken to the hotel, it has self check-in option for the check-in after business operation hour, i.e. mid night. Travelers can acquire the room key/card by themselves from a locker with a provided pin code. These enable me to have a good rest after making an urgent booking in night time, travel over 100km then reach the hotel at 1.30 a.m. mid night. The attached photos show the self check-in/out facility, public drinking-water-dispenser and fire extinguisher.
Although I can't expect much from a budget, I would like to suggest that the air-con in the room to have service/maintenance so that it won't produce much noise. By the way, the noise only distract us slightly from having rest.
After all, based on the offered/discounted price, the room is satisfactory and recommended.
