"Hotel and facilities are outstanding. Two issues that greeted me when I arrived which took some of the gloss off. First the check in process was painfully slow (literally, I'm disabled) had to wait far too long to collect my card key. Definitely not efficient. Second had an additional charge of £14 for parking despite being a blue badge holder and no where close by as an alternative. Effectively taking advantage of my lack of mobility. Worse when I checked the website I had used to book a figure of £10 was quoted. Gripes aside this is a wonderful place to stay and the breakfast first rate."

"We arrived at 12pm and were able to go straight to our home. Hotel is beautiful and clean. We had dinner in the hotel which was very tasty and breakfast had a great selection of hot food and we got to make our own waffles 🤤"

"It's a little far from Blackpool North Station, but the rooms are very spacious. It's not a super luxury hotel, but it's very clean and comfortable. There is also an elevator. The Henson hotel is a little far from the station and downtown, so if you have a large suitcase, it's a good idea to take a taxi. There are buses and trams running so it's fine even at night."

"I booked this place over the Easter weekend, purely based on the fact it was two thirds cheaper than the chain hotels which were nearby. The hotel is located a 2 minute walk away from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. It is also a 1 minute walk away from the nearest Wetherspoons pub, South Pier & Sandcastle Leisure Centre...along with some nice local cafes, (Rendezvous), and cheaper end shops, sticks of rock were nearly half the price this end of the seafront. My expectations were low for this hotel, I've stayed in the area before and knew I wasn't booking 5 star. I was pleasantly surprised. We were met at the door promptly and greeted. What I first noticed was the electronic security lock on the door and on all rooms. The entrance was spotless and there were no funny smells of damp etc. The hotel was warm from top to bottom. We visited during storm Dave...so that leads on to our room. I booked a family room with 1 double and 2 single beds. We were given a double and a bunk bed, this wasn't a massive issue as my 2 children, who were older, agreed to make the best of what we had. I never complained as we were only here for 2 days. We had 2 separate rooms that were both en-suite with a toilet, sink and shower. They were fully stocked with toilet rolls, body wash/shampoo and hand wash, which was a nice touch. The beds were clean, the covers/pillows were basic, but again clean. The double bed was super comfortable,, the bunk beds were a good size, but probably could have done with an extra couple of pillows. All the heaters worked a treat and we were never cold for a minute, in fact the rooms heated nicely. We had tea, coffee & water in the room for our use too! There wasn't a view from the windows, but who cared, we were there for the rides, amusements and shopping. The hotel is located as stated near the Pleasure Beach, for high street shopping, you can either take a nice walk, which would be over half an hour or get a tram or taxi. We got Uber, which was around £6 each way from the hotel to Primark or Wendy's. That's right near Treasure Island and the Tower. I really can't fault this place, it was quiet, the host was always about and extremely helpful and the price was the best we were getting on an Easter weekend. Yes there were other guests here, no you couldn't hear every voice and or footstep. If you're on a budget or just want somewhere clean, tidy and warm, give this place a go. I took the pictures fairly hastily, the room was extremely tidy at the time we checked in. The pictures I took were at check out."

"My daughter and I stayed here overnight while she was attending a dance competition. The hotel was lovely. We were greeted with a smile by the owner, who was friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. We had a spacious, sea view room. It was clean, large enough to sleep 5. The bed was very comfortable. We had plenty of hot drink supplies. The toiletries provided were fantastic. Very happy with the price and would be happy to return in the future. Thank you Vinnie's, it's been great."

"Wir waren enttäuscht über die Parkplätze. Es wurde nicht genau klargestellt, dass Sie in die Richtung gehen müssen, wo es markiert wurde und drücken Sie sie, um die Barriere zu lösen. Das Hotel ist sehr sicher, da Sie den Zugang zum Eingang beantragen müssen. Einmal bis zur Rezeption im ersten Stock wurden wir begrüßt und ein Zimmer zugewiesen. Das Zimmer war sehr müde mit markierten und geschraubten Wänden und Decken. Das Badezimmer hatte alle gängig ausgestatteten Einrichtungen, aber ein großer Krack war in den Fliesen auf dem Boden etwa zweieinhalb Füße lang. Die Dusche war schmutzig und der Untergrund der Haupttür war weg. Das Bett war zwei Einzelmatratzen, die offensichtlich gut genutzt wurden und bedeutete, dass es eine Pumpe zwischen deren nicht sehr komfortable war. Die Bar war teuer für Getränke und das Personal schien multitask-Service und Reinigungstisch usw. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet, aber es ist sehr gut. Wir haben die Empfangsbestätigung bei der Überprüfung unserer Ergebnisse angekündigt, da wir nicht normalerweise die Beschwerden machen, aber die Fragen machen einen Unterschied und einige nur allgemeine Wartung."
