Our property is located on a very quiet street with very little traffic.Spend a wonderful time right at the foot of the Palatinate Forest - one of the largest contiguous forest areas in Germany, with an almost infinite number of leisure and relaxation opportunities in the immediate vicinity. No matter whether you prefer hiking, cycling or the delicacies of the Palatinate cuisine and of course the excellent Palatinate wine, this region offers something for every taste.Edesheim is the right place for you! Within a few minutes you can already reach numerous locations for social evenings, hiking and cycling trails from and in the picturesque vineyards with a beautiful view of the Palatinate Forest. There is also a lot for children here: about a minute's walk from our apartment there is a great playground with a variety of play equipment, space to play football and a small stream. If you like it a bit bigger when playing, you can reach the so-called. AllaHopp facility in Edenkoben. It is a park-like, free facility with play equipment for young and old, a stream and various water features, a grill hut and outdoor fitness equipment and exercise trail.If you are traveling with small children, we will of course also be happy to provide you with a high chair and a travel cot.Of course, here in Edesheim there are bakers and other shops for everyday needs, banks and ATMs, pharmacies, doctors and of course bus and train stops, so that you can enjoy further tours and excursions without your own car. The almost 60 square meter apartment has two rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a wonderful bathroom. It is located on the ground floor of our house and has a separate driveway with terrace and seating with a grill and of course its own entrance door. The hallway leads to the stylish and cozy bedroom and the large and open and inviting living / dining area with direct access to the kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was in the so-called Vintage style furnished, whereby the furniture and decorative objects were mostly processed by the company "Scheunenfund" by hand. In this apartment we offer you a mixture of decorative and functional, but also vintage and modern. We have placed great emphasis on beautiful, high-quality and healthy materials, which you will also recognize from the real wood floors, the tiles, windows, etc.The living room has a convivial seating area that invites you to linger and play with the whole family, a cozy sofa area that can be converted in just a few simple steps, can be used as another full bed and of course the comfort you are used to at home (satellite TV , WiFi, electric shutters). You will also find a closet for your private items and clothes. The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee pad machine, dishwasher, fridge / freezer and all utensils) and here you will also find an additional small and cozy seating area.The bathroom has a walk-in shower with retractable shower walls and toilet. The apartment is on the ground floor of our house and it has a separate entry (parking spot) and a terrace with seating possibilities and a barbecue. Through the corridor you reach the stylish and cozy bedroom on the left and on the right you get into the big and welcoming living-dining room with direct access to the kitchen and the bathroom. The apartment was furnished in the so called "shabby-chic style". Most of the furniture and decorative objects were handmade or hand finished by the company "Scheunenfund". With this holiday apartment we offer you a mixture of decorative and functional but also vintage and modern.We have set great value upon beautiful high quality and healthy materials what can be seen amongst other things by the real wood floors, the tiles and the windows.The living-dining room has a cozy seating area which invites you to linger and play board games with the whole family. Wir haben das ehemalige Bauernhaus liebevoll und nachhaltig saniert und modernisiert und daraus eine Perle im Pfälzer Wald gemacht. Über die Sandstein-Außentreppe gelangt man in die Wohnbereiche, die sich über den ehemaligen Stallungen befinden, in denen heute die Haustechnik untergebracht ist. Der großzügige Wohn- und Essbereich ist mit der offenen Küche zu einem Raum verbunden. Warmer und antiker Holzdielenboden verleiht dem Wohnzimmer eine gemütliche Atmosphäre, die Küche ist im Schachbrettmuster gefliest. Ein 100 Jahre alter, renovierter Dekoofen mit kleinem Fenster sorgt bei kaltem Wetter für wohlige Wärme. Der moderne, harmonische Essbereich lädt zu langen Gesprächen bei einem guten Glas Wein ein, man kann hier aber auch fernsehen. Die selbstgebaute Küche ist mit Geschirrspüler, Kühl-/Gefrierschrank, 4-Platten-Herd mit Backofen, Mikrowelle und Kaffeekapselmaschine perfekt ausgestattet, und das Geschirr ist so reichhaltig bestückt, dass Hobbyköche ihrer Leidenschaft frönen können. Die Frühstückstheke mit Barhockern und Blick in den Garten eignet sich zudem ideal für ein schnelles Frühstück, begleitet von Musik aus dem alten UKW-Empfänger. Das brandneue Badezimmer befindet sich im Obergeschoss und verfügt über eine luxuriöse Dusche, WC, Waschbecken und Handtuchwärmer. Im ersten Schlafzimmer befindet sich das Doppelbett unter einem Dachfenster und bietet einen Blick auf die Sterne. Von diesem Raum gelangt man in den zweiten Raum, der entweder mit dem neuen Klappsofa in ein weiteres Schlafzimmer umgewandelt oder als gemütlicher Lese-, Arbeits- oder Rückzugsraum genutzt werden kann. Hinter dem Haus am Hang befindet sich der ca. 400 Quadratmeter große Garten mit einer Hangterrasse mit Blick auf das Dorf, ideal für Sundowner. Ihr Auto können Sie auf unserem Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus parken, wo sich auch eine weitere große Terrasse befindet, die genutzt werden kann. Das Haus ist das vorletzte Haus in einer Straße am Ortsrand, direkt am Waldrand. Es gibt keinen Durchgangsverkehr und sehr wenig Anliegerverkehr. Nach wenigen Metern sind Sie im Pfälzer Wald und können auf gut ausgeschilderten Wanderwegen in die Nachbardörfer wandern oder den vielen Menschen aus dem Weg gehen. Freeclimber und Boulderer erreichen die nächsten Sandsteinfelsen in wenigen Kilometern Entfernung, Mountainbiker können entweder auf eigene Faust losziehen oder die ausgeschilderten Wege in der Nähe nutzen. Im nahegelegenen Dernbach, Weyher oder Orensfels gibt es sogar Startplätze für Gleitschirmflieger. Die schönste Zeit in der Pfalz ist für uns von April bis Oktober mit warmen Temperaturen und üppiger Natur. Doch schon ab März gibt es viele sonnige und warme Tage, die dazu einladen, dem Winter zu entfliehen, und im Herbst lieben Wanderer die Gegend wegen ihrer Kastanien und Pilze und natürlich wegen der reifen und farbenfrohen Weinberge. Eußerthal wurde als Kloster gegründet, und die schöne Kirche und einige Gebäude des Klosters stehen noch heute. Geschichtsinteressierte können in der Umgebung Dutzende von Burgen und Ruinen entdecken, und besonders Kinder werden diese Wanderziele lieben. Kulinarisch zählt die Pfalz zu den Top-Regionen Deutschlands, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr ausgewogen. Restaurants gibt es in Eußerthal und der nächste größere Supermarkt ist 5 Kilometer entfernt im Annweiler. Im Umkreis von maximal 30 Minuten erreichen Sie Annweiler mit der Kaiserfestung Trifels, die schöne Stadt Landau mit Wochenmarkt, Zoo, Laola-Freizeitbad, über 200 ausgezeichnete Weingüter an der Südlichen Weinstraße, Hauenstein mit Schuhmuseum und vielen Outlet-Stores, die Wellnesswelt des Felsenland-Bads in Dahn, den Teufelstisch, Jungfernsprung und weitere einzigartige Sandsteinformationen, Neustadt/Wstr mit dem Hambacher Schloss, der Villa Ludwigshöhe des ehemaligen bayerischen Königs in Edenkoben sowie viele Schlösser und romantisch-geheimnisvolle Burgruinen in der Umgebung.
