Hythe Imperial Hotel, Spa & Golf Bewertungen

Imperial has been around a long time so it’s fairly recent room renovations are welcome. Room and bathroom were nice but there was no cold water in the taps nor shower. It lasted the whole trip even though we reported it. Seemed to be an ongoing issue. Will book again as it’s still the nicest hotel in the area Bar area needs a complete renovation as it’s very very dated

We have booked a long weekend stayed at the hotel in June. It is located close to the long beach which is great for a walk or a run. There is a fantastic cute cafe near the hotel called cafe on the beach. Coffee and pastries were excellent. Breakfast buffet was nothing special but acceptable for the price. Spa and pool facilities were great except that they charge you extra for bath robe and slipper. You have to ask at the reception for those. There is also no travel toothbrush tooth paste or shampoo. We were not expecting to pack them with us as we are used to having them provided by hotels which we have stayed. I would say this is the first time we have experienced this. Staffs were excellent, polite and very welcoming. It is worth staying if you travel close to the area.

First time stay at the Imperial Hythe Hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Impressed by the size of standard room. Enjoyed swimming pool and sauna and steam room very much. Can't wait to return.

I was not expecting much from the hotel we only booked in due to needing somewhere close to stay by Port Lympne, but I won’t be returning, the hotel all needs a bit of a refurbish rooms are a little dated and the pool/spa especially need a massive refresh tiles look mouldy and holes in walls everywhere, there was dust on our bedside tables plus the furniture in the bedrooms were also extremely dated

Great amenties heated pool jazzuci sauna. Decent rooms and std. British breakfast overall good stay near beach great for morning walks

Lovely clean hotel would happily stay here again. Easy to find and tight on the sea front with a beautiful view from the room. Staff was very friendly and very helpful

Disappointed with the pool , dirty, no cups available for water, locks broken on doors . Floor slimmy. Room ok but dusty at the bottom of the tea station, fan not working in bathroom, Breakfast was terrible, orange juice was really watery and tasteless , plates too hot and no serviettes provided to hold , cereals were ok , no pastries very poor selection for the price , bread was cheap and soggy and when toasted burnt...yuk ! Too much pepper on the tomatoes , baked beans cheap and nasty , sausages were nice, bacon horrible and cooked in clumps so some were under cooked and some extremely crispy and salty. For the price of £17 a head , I think the breakfast was 1/5. lady staff member was very nice, polite and helpful 5/5. Sorry to say but we won't be back 😞

Lovely place for couples and family gate always for fresh air

A beautiful room located next to other members of my family. Lovely and clean.all staff were very helpful. The hotel was decorated for Christmas and looked magical .my 4 year old granddaughter loved it thank you,and we're be back again very soon.

We had a seaview room. A party in the Ballroom didn't disturb us. A very small sink in bathroom with a huge tap that soaked everything near it. Strange electrical noise that could be heard turning on and off during the evening/night.

Excellent experience everything was perfect, cannot complain at all.

First time we have stayed here and OMG wished we had done so before.place is amazing We had a classic room which was great.Big comfy bed and lovely bathroom. The spa facilities were great.Nice little pool and sauna/jacuzzi/steam room was a great way to start and end the day.Also a gym which I did nt use on this occasion. The Martello bar was cosy and comfortable and the restaurant was very good too Staff were very polite and helpful Great location for a stroll along the prom in although it was very cold. Could see France ! Going back again in a couple of days

The gentleman on the front desk (Allan) was a little abrupt and tried to correct my friends husband and myself a couple of times with regards to checking in and was quick to tell me that the spa was a completely different department. Apart from him the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Very Nice Hotel,with lovely large rooms,with sitting Areas. Good Heating control too.One let down is the size of the TV which is about 32 inch,but too far away for it's Size. Room tates are very cheap for Hotel of this Standard,but did note that drinks and Food are on the expensive side. Overall,well worth the Room rate charged,would certainly stay again.
