We were a group of 8 people and had an unforgettable stay here. The hotel owner is one of the kindest and most helpful people we’ve ever met. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly, gave us great local recommendations, and even personally drove us to each destination!
On the day we went hiking in the mountains, he provided us with free walking sticks. He helped us with everything — arranging transfers, buying entrance tickets, and planning the route. He also allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly convenient.
I shared room 8303 with my friend. The room is designed for two people and had two separate beds, both very comfortable to sleep in. There was also an air conditioner in the room, which made our stay even more pleasant.
Another thing we’re super grateful for — the owner kindly let us do laundry. After hiking in the mountains, our clothes definitely needed it!
The view from the window was absolutely stunning. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, full of natural light, and have plenty of power outlets. The showers were great, with clean water and convenient showerheads. There were all the necessary toiletries: body soap, shampoo — we recommend bringing your own conditioner if needed.
The hotel can also prepare food for guests. We really enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles — delicious and homey.
There’s also a local café nearby where we had breakfast a few times.
The hotel is located in the mountains, perfectly positioned for visiting nearby attractions, waterfalls, hiking spots, and even riding quad bikes.
A tip: bring a good quality raincoat if you’re visiting during rainy weather!
The owner speaks basic English, and even though it wasn’t easy for him, he patiently explained everything to us in English with so much kindness and care. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable — even helped us search for a lost phone in the mountains!
He also called us in advance before our arrival to confirm our plans and helped arrange a transfer to the train station after check-out.
We wish him and his family good health, happiness, and prosperity. He and this hotel deserve not just 5 stars, but 1000! Wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

GGastnutzerHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

FFVDBWir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt im 0517 Hotel!! Die Lobby und das Zimmer sahen sogar noch besser aus als auf den Bildern. Sehr gemütlich und stilvoll. Schönes Ambiente. Die Dusche war auch toll. Aber das Beste an unserem Aufenthalt war das Personal. Sie waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie halfen uns bei der Planung unserer Tagesausflüge und boten insgesamt einen großartigen Service im Hotel! GGastnutzerMeine Familie und ich (5 von uns) hatten vor kurzem die Freude, in diesem charmanten Heimaufenthalt in Hongkun für zwei Tage und eine Nacht zu bleiben, und es war eine wunderbare Erfahrung von Anfang bis Ende. Das Gebäude, das 400 Jahre alt in der Geschichte steigt, befindet sich relativ nahe dem Westen Eingang, macht den Zugang zu einem Brise. Die Zimmer waren schön dekoriert, sauber und gut gepflegt. Obwohl ich ursprünglich drei spezielle Zimmer reserviert habe, waren sie wegen der Renovierung nicht verfügbar. Allerdings wurde mir drei weitere Zimmer angeboten, die sich als geräumiger erwiesen, was eine wunderbare Überraschung war.
Die Lobby war unglaublich willkommen, mit einer gemütlichen Wohn-Stil-Atmosphäre. Es gibt einen schönen Kaffee links und einen Souvenirshop rechts, ein schönes Touch von Komfort und Charme hinzufügen, wenn Sie zu dem Wohnbereich gehen. Wan Jie (ältere Schwester Wan), der Gastgeber, war wirklich Gastgeber und aufmerksam. Seine Wärme schlägt von unserem ersten Telefongespräch, auf den sie glücklich antwortete, während sie unsere pickup arrangieren, da Autos nicht erlaubt sind in Hongkun, eine UNESCO-Heritage Site.

Das Essen war lecker und vernünftig bezahlt, zusätzlich zu der Gesamterfahrung. Obwohl es zu cool war, während meines Besuchs zu benutzen, verfügt der Heimuntergang auch über einen Pool, der für Sommertage perfekt wäre.
Am Ende unseres Aufenthalts ging Wan Jie oben und weiter, indem er uns zur Ausfahrt des Dorfes begleitete, um auf unseren Fahrer zu warten, und sicherte, dass alles reibungslos ging, bevor er ihr Gefallen sagte. Es ist selten, eine solche personalisierte Gastfreundschaft zu erleben, und es hat uns einen erinnerebaren Eindruck gemacht.

I booked a long stay here as a retreat and break from the work and it is exactly everything I need to unwind and recharge.
The guesthouse ran by a husband and wife team are so hospitable and go the extra mile to make sure my stay here is relaxing and I have everything I need to work and go about my day.
The room i am staying in is very brightly lighted with a desk for me to work. I have to say the bed is also very comfortable and I have been sleeping well every night.
The surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil, with gardens and flowers and mountain peaks in the distance. I am rather glad I am staying here in the valley instead of near the centre.
In terms of service, the boss is very helpful and responsive to my messages when we need to ask any question or require a pick up after the hikes. The lady boss is similarly extremely friendly, warm and kind and ensure my needs and well being is looked after every day. She cared for me like her own family.
I really appreciate them going the extra mile to help a foreigner like me who struggle with the language.
I would strongly recommend this lovely and cosy guesthouse to any local and foreigner who is looking for an amazing visit to Huangshan for a few days or up to a month. They will ensure you are well taken care of and your stay is absolutely delightful.

GGastnutzerDie Lage war nur ok. Nicht in der Natur und Sie müssen einen Shuttle zum Transportbereich nehmen. Der Shuttle war jedoch frei und komfortabel. Das Zimmer war sauber, groß, modern und sehr komfortabel. Es gab Touristen, die sich auf demselben Stock wie ich missverhalten, die laut am Abend mit ihren Zimmertüren offen und rauchen im Hotel, wodurch das ganze Stockwerk wie Zigaretten gefüttert wurde. Ich wünsche mir, dass das Hotel seine Regeln strenger durchsetzt, um dies zu verhindern. Das Restaurant und das Frühstück waren gut und die Geschäfte im Hotel sind sehr bequem. Das Personal war freundlich.

Als nächstes folgen die Details:
Vor den Maifeiertagen fuhr ich mit meinen Eltern nach Huangshan. Wir hatten zwei Zweibettzimmer gebucht und blieben zwei Nächte. Zunächst:
1. Preis: Da wir außerhalb der Hauptsaison reisten, lag der Preis bei knapp über 200 Yuan pro Nacht, was im Vergleich zu den vielen Hotels und B&Bs in der Umgebung nicht teuer ist. Ich hatte nicht erwartet, dass der Preis sehr hoch sein würde, aber die tatsächliche Erfahrung war unerwartet.
Standort 2: Es liegt nicht im belebtesten Viertel der Stadt Tangkou, aber da die Stadt nicht groß ist, ist es eigentlich recht praktisch. Zum Abendessen ging ich in eines der berühmtesten Restaurants der Gegend, Laojiefang Hui Cuisine, und machte nach dem Abendessen einen Spaziergang, um meine Verdauung anzuregen.
Zimmer 3: Das Zimmer ist wie auf dem Bild dargestellt. Es ist recht geräumig und, was am wichtigsten ist, sehr sauber. Es ist außerdem mit einer intelligenten Toilette ausgestattet. Auch die öffentlichen Flure sind relativ sauber, was die Kosteneffizienz noch unterstreicht.
4Service: Das Hotel verfügt über einen kostenlosen Shuttlebus zur Umsteigestation, einen Lantu MPV, der recht geräumig ist. In der Lobby gibt es auch einen Service, der speziell Touristenrouten vorstellt, aber es scheint, dass viele lokale Hotels und B&Bs diese Dienste ebenfalls anbieten. Auf ihre Empfehlung hin haben wir unsere ursprüngliche Route angepasst, sind vom Nordtor aus nach oben und vom Südtor aus nach unten gegangen und haben uns auf den Besuch des West Sea Grand Canyon konzentriert. Die Landschaft war wirklich schön und relativ entspannend. Allerdings war der Zug eine kleine Abzocke. Es kostete 100 Yuan pro Person und die Fahrt dauerte nur drei Minuten ... Wichtiger Hinweis: Wenn Sie mit dem Zug von unten nach oben fahren, empfiehlt es sich, im letzten Waggon zu sitzen und sich so nah wie möglich an die Scheibe zu stellen, um sehr gute Videos aufzunehmen.
5. Essen und Trinken: Das Hotel verfügt über ein eigenes Restaurant. Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen, es gab auch typische Anhui-Küche. Da wir es nicht gewohnt sind, werden wir hier nicht näher darauf eingehen, aber das lokale Spezialbier ist trotzdem interessant und man kann es probieren. Das Frühstück ist relativ einfach und kann nicht mit herkömmlichen Resort- oder Sternehotels verglichen werden. Es ist genug, um Ihren Magen zu füllen, aber das
Süßkartoffeln sind gut.
Abschließend möchte ich sagen, dass ich mich bei diesem Preis und dieser Art von Zimmer, Umgebung und Service beim nächsten Mal wahrscheinlich wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden werde.
