I specifically booked a night at the Sofitel Gatwick because it included 'Meet and Greet' parking with Maple Parking. Had they not included this I would have still stayed but made other arrangments for my car. I arrived at the Maple Parking Meet and Greet and parked the car. Took my keys over to the attendant and signed in. I then asked if they could give me 20 minutes to check in to the hotel, change clothes and bring a bag back to the car. We didnt want to bring a bag of unclean clothes on holiday with us. Here's where things went downhill faster than Gwynth Paltrow on ski's. The attendant, a tall bloke with a mid-european accent shouted at me 'No, do you know you are at an airport'. He actually shouted this. Shouted. To a customer. Take a minute to breathe that in. Fortunatly I knew I was at an airport, having driven 4 hours to get there. To hear that I was at an airport was no surprise, to be shouted at by a car park attendant was. I explained that I didnt want to take a case of unclean clothes on holiday with me. His response to that was 'we are extremly busy and your car will be removed immediately'. I asked if the hotel would hold the bag and he replied 'No they will not hold your stupid bag'. Here's where I should have murdered him with his Maple Meet and Greet Staff lanyard, but I did not. I asked for my keys back to be told once again in an truely agresive manner 'if you take your keys I will close the entry and you can't come back'. I took the keys and left. I then had to park at Gatawick Long stay for an additional £150. We finally checked into the hotel, explained the situation. The checkin lady (Alessia?) apologised and gave us two tokens for a free drink at the bar. They also kept our bag for us. Is this the fault of Sofitel Gatwick? I think it is. They decided to partner with a company that treats people appalingly. So they've got to accept responsibility for that. Please share this review, If I saw something like this I would have chose another car park or another hotel. Other people should be warned.

Wir blieben eine Nacht vor einem frühen Flug. Wir reservierten ein Zimmer mit einem ”Queen” Bett Sofa Bett, als wir als Familie reisen. Enttäuscht war das Queen Bett ein kleineres voll/doppeltes Bett und das Ausziehen der Sofa war völlig unschlafend. Ich habe nie in meinem Leben ein Bett so schrecklich überall gehabt. Es sollte illegal sein, es ein Bett zu nennen. Die ”Matrix” war das dunste, was ich je als Bett aus einem Hotel hatte. Es waren Schleifen. Das Zimmer selbst war einfach nicht sauber. Es riecht wie Stachel rauch und Urin. Es war grob. Das Bad hatte eine Schlauch in den Ecken der Dusche und auf dem Deckel und das Toilette nicht immer fluss. Der Checkin-Freund war überhaupt nicht freundlich und ich dachte nicht, es wäre es wert, einen anderen Raum zu arrangieren, so dass wir es für die Nacht sugen. Niemand schlief, und wir gingen für unseren Flug. Als ich auscheckte, informierten die Frauen dort am Morgen, dass ich eine andere Art von Zimmer beantragt hätte, was, wenn es eine Option wäre, sie uns bei der Eincheckung hätten sagen sollen. Es gibt andere Optionen in der Nähe Gatwick und ich empfehlen, woanders zu gehen!

Es kostete auch 10 Pfund am Tag des Austritts, um sie zum Flughafen zu schicken. Das Hotel war sehr klein, eigentlich waren es zwei Häuser. Die Kinder wurden in das Nicht-Hauptgebäude gezogen. Superb Gatwick hotel ! We had a 9am flight to catch n booked 2 rooms. I was very impressed with the size and cleaniness of the hotel. This hotel is a short 2 min walk to the North departure airline counters. Only regret, we couldn't try the tasty breakfast as we had to check-into the flight at 7am !!

We found this B&B as an alternative to an airport hotel. Great value, especially as you only pay for breakfast if you want it - with a 4.30am departure we didn't! About an 8 minute walk from the station, parking also available. Clean room, quiet, and pleasant, helpful staff who also advised us beforehand about booking a taxi to the airport - this was really cheap and took under 10 minutes to get there. Easy walk to restaurants and a lovely pub from the B&B.

Wir haben ein paar Mal gewohnt - immer ein warmes Willkommen, sehr gutes Frühstück, saubere Einrichtungen usw. Lage ist ideal - ca. 5 Minuten von LGW. Es gibt ein Gewächs eines Pubs im Dorf Sie alt 6 Uhr - 5 Minuten zu Fuß, durch den Kirchenhof schneiden. Book voraus für Mahlzeiten, da es beschäftigt wird. Die B&B ist auf einer besetzten Straße und es gibt Parkplätze auf einer ersten Basis - es war nie eine Frage für uns, dass wir immer gelangen, zu parken. Sie parken auch Flughafen, an einem Punkt machten sie einen Shuttle zum Flughafen - Sie können jetzt ein Taxi buchen. Wir parkierten am Flughafen diese Zeit, als es das gleiche arbeitete und uns gerade auf unserem Rückflug keine Probleme gerettet. Das Frühstück ist 5* - perfekt für einen langen Tag von Reisen. Der einzige Grund, warum diese Bewertung nicht 5 Sterne ist unser Zimmer bei dieser Gelegenheit erschien potenziell übersehen - viele Fenster, die groß für Licht, aber nicht so groß mit einem nahe gelegenen Eigentum und Häuser nach hinten. und die anschließende hatte ein separates WC und Dusche, das ist gut, aber das Toilette war so klein, es fühlte sich ein bisschen klaustrobisch. Das scheint wirklich ein bisschen gemein, aber ich versuche, in jeder Bewertung, die ich schreiben, voll ehrlich zu sein. Andere Zimmer, die wir geblieben haben, würden die 5 Sterne voll erhalten. Würde ich hier nochmal bleiben? - absolut. Wir lieben diesen Ort - Personal und Eigentümer sind wunderschön. Lage ist perfekt. Willkommen ist warm und Frühstück ist großartig. Soll ich es empfehlen? - 100% - würden Sie nicht woanders bleiben, wenn dies verfügbar wäre. Würde ich im selben Zimmer bleiben? - Ja, zweifellos. Es wäre nicht meine erste Wahl des Zimmers, aber sicherlich ist besser als viele andere Gästehäuser bieten & wenn es die einzige verfügbare wäre ich übernehmen würde über die Übernachtung an anderer Stelle. Very convenient location for an early departure from Gatwick the following day. Reasonable price for room only with tea/ coffee making facilities with over night parking free. Bed was very comfortable. We would certainly book again if flying from Gatwick. This accommodation also offers longer stay parking and taxi to the Airport so worth enquiring as we will probably do next time.
