We have stayed in boutique hotels all over the world, and rarely have we been provided with such a completely artistic and aesthetic experience as we had at Amanzi Lodge. From our very first communication with the owner, Andrew Mama, and manager George, we were enveloped in what can only be described as Amanzi Lodge’s signature artistic hospitality. Every interaction throughout our entire stay was not just warm and friendly but genuinely above and beyond in its care and consideration. Each conversation with every staff member (from reception to gardeners to housekeeping to the magnificent restaurant crew) was a testament to the extraordinary level of attention and genuine kindness that defines Amanzi Lodge. Amanzi Lodge, with its beautiful gardens and unique charm, offers a truly memorable African experience. The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the stay, from the well-curated art pieces that adorn the interiors to the meticulously designed and maintained gardens that provide a serene and picturesque environment. The combination of fantastic food, interior design, and spectacular gardens showcases the very best of Africa, making every moment spent at Amanzi a celebration of beauty and artistry. When we travel, we always seek out a place to stay that can be a rejuvenating sanctuary after long days of exploring (or in the case of this trip, work and connections). Our stay in the Uganda Suite at Amanzi Lodge was nothing short of magical. The views were breathtaking, and the unique atmosphere of detailed elegance made us reluctant to ever leave the balcony. (Yes, even the balcony was indescribably special). While it would have been easy to just settle into and soak up the room, we are so glad we listened to adventure’s call and explored the breathtaking landscape that literally and figuratively flows throughout the entire property. Each time we ventured out to explore the Amanzi grounds, we were met with enchanting surprises. The interiors are exquisitely appointed, each room a masterpiece of design that feels both luxurious and welcoming, but the landscaping is a marvel, like strolling through a living art museum filled with vibrant sculptures and blooming flowers, reminiscent of a heaven-sent oasis. The owners, Julia and Andrew Mama, are the epitome of gracious hosts. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel like cherished guests and part of their extended family. They went above and beyond, connecting us with local artists and gallery curators, and their personal greetings in the corridors always came with a genuine smile and heartfelt conversation. Even now that we have returned home, the inspiration drawn from Amanzi Lodge continues to resonate. The space they have created is more than just a place to stay; it is a sanctuary of beauty, art, and heartfelt hospitality. SsanverUnterschrieben 60 Dollar. Der Gesamtpreis dieses Gasthauses ist immer noch hoch, nach allem ist das Harare Hotel zu teuer und es gibt kostenloses Frühstück. Die Schwäche ist, dass manchmal das WLAN brechen wird, manchmal kein warmes Wasser, manchmal kein kaltes Wasser, die Wasserversorgung instabil ist. In der Nähe können Sie zu einem Essen gehen, um Pick n Pay zu bekommen, gibt es Chicken Inn, Bakery Inn, Pizza Inn, Nando's, Chicken Slice mehrere zu wählen. Wenn Sie einen Auto fahren, können Sie Indrive herunterladen.

IIsaacBooked this guest house based on the reviews that I had read. It is a very basic guest house and in my view, will require some improvements to meet some minimum international standards.
The positive is that the WiFi worked very well and hence once on site could stay in touch with family and friends. Also the staff were very friendly and appearedto work with what they had at their disposal.
Areas of improvements:
1. Not sure if the guest house had master keys to the rooms. Our room was never cleaned for the period that we were there. Not sure if because we went out with the key or we had to request for the room to be clean.
2. We were not given towels and it was good we have carried some towels with us. It will be extremely good to provide towels and should be already present in the room when the guest arrives.
3. The bathroom had no mirror so when I needed to shave, I had to come back to the bedroom to use the mirror.
4. It appeared the whole guest house has only one kettle and hence if you needed what water, you needed to request for the kettle. Worst still the bedroom did not have the socket for the kettle's plug and hence had to go back to the reception to heat the water.
5. Although the guest house is advertised as having a kitchen, this was in an outhouse and you have to leave the main guest house to use the kitchen. Worst is that the kitchen was not ready when we arrived and it is not well kitted, and in my opinion should not be advertised as a guest house with a kitchen.
6. Finally, the guest house did not have a stanby generator and on one of the nights, the lights went off from @2am local timm till mid morning.
