Our 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo in The Phoenix at Steamboat has everything you'll need and more for your mountain getaway!You’ll love our prime location, just across the street from the base of the mountain. You will have easy access to everything you need---restaurants, shopping, bars, grocery stores, all within a block or two.If you are here to ski or snowboard, you can take a short walk to the Gondola or choose the convenient winter ski shuttle.Our place was recently upgraded with new bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and new appliances, comfortable living room furniture and a brand-new 65 inch smart TV , including a variety of premium channels and Netflix/Roku capabilities.You'll find comfortable beds and flat screen TVs in both bedrooms. The Master has a KING bed with a Serta IComfort memory foam mattress and a modern attached full bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen and a twin-over-twin bunk bed. For extra sleeping space, the living room sofa pulls out to a queen bed. The second full bathroom was also been remodeled and is located in the hallway between the bedrooms and the living room . During ski season, you won’t need a car for the entire time you’re here because included in your stay is a complimentary shuttle that will pick you up right at our front door! You can get a lift to the slopes or virtually anywhere you want to go in town, including grocery stores, restaurants, breweries and more. We also have a heated private garage for one vehicle and covered parking available for a second vehicle, first come-first served. If you're visiting in the summer, we are one of the few condos in Steamboat Springs with Air Conditioning in all rooms and a lovely outdoor patio with access to a shared grass yard.You'll have free access to the beautiful Phoenix clubhouse with heated pool, hot tubs, sauna, workout room and pool table. There are three barstools and large dining room table that comfortably sits 6 people. The entertainment center is stocked with lots of family friendly games. There is also a nice stereo system with surround sound speakers. The open living room boasts incredible views of the ski mountain. Relax on the soft leather sofa and club chair. Enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning fireplace and watch a movie on the 50” flat-screen TV.There are two spacious rooms. The master features a king size bed, built in closet, and a 32” flat-screen TV. The master also has an ensuite bathroom with a newly remodeled walk in shower. The second bedroom comfortably sleeps 4 with a twin/full/twin trundle bunkbed, and a 32" smart TV. The adjacent full bath has a large vanity and a tub/shower combination.THE LOCATIONThis condo is ski-in/ski out, so you can cruise right down to the base area of the gondola and Steamboat Springs Ski Resort. The green ski run that is located out the back door of the condo complex is called Right-o-Way. Other winter activities include dog sledding, ice fishing, and snowshoeing.When the weather is warm, you can rent kayaks, tubes, and stand-up paddle boards and then head over to the Yampa River or the areas local lakes. Rent bikes and explore many of the areas amazing bike trails or the beautiful Yampa River Core Trail. There are countless hiking trails right out your back door and the surrounding areas. This bus will take you to the resort as well as downtown. Shopping and a great restaurant are easy walking distance and in the summer, the core path that runs by the river through town is nearby. The condo is a ground floor unit with one bedroom and one bathroom. There is a patio off the back that faces a grassy area with the hot tub in it. The condo itself is comfortably furnished with a king sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sized pull out couch in the living room. From the kitchen, you walk down a small flight of stairs into the open living and dining area. Open, close, and lock as needed. There are childproofing supplies provided in a bin in the pantry. If you feel childproofing is needed for your kiddos, you can put on and take off supplies as needed. Some drawers and cabinets already have some locks installed. They just have to be activated. There is a bathtub in one of the master bathrooms for bathing little ones. There is also a few bath toys in the cabinet. The condo does have 4 outdoor steps to reach the front door but once you enter there is a mudroom on entry-level that is big enough to store strollers and additional gear, so there are no lugging strollers up and down full flights of stairs. The walk-in closets are big enough to fit the pack 'n play in for small children to sleep. We have a pack n play with sheets and an additional mattress that fits perfectly inside the pack n play for added comfort. We have a changing pad with covers. We have an additional padded rug for setting up a play area. There are a few kids' toys, kids' games, books, a high chair, pack n play, changing table, and kids' dishes + bibs. There is a baby swing in one of the master bedroom closets for use.
