Simply amazing decor to match the great history of Crete, particularly the Minoan civilization, clean spaces, and excellent communication for late arrival to the hotel. Perfectly located within walking distance to the Archaeological Museum, yummy seafood restaurants, the bus and taxi stations, if one wants to visit the birthplace of Zeus/cave or the famous monastery. Dimitris, his son, and Mary were very friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to hear Mary's historical knowledge of ancient Egyptian and ancient Greek civilization-- the friends of the ancient Khmer civilization. Definitely recommended.

Es ist nur einen Block von der Shopping Pedestrian Street entfernt, nur 5 Gehminuten vom Meer und nur 4 Kilometer vom Flughafen entfernt. Die Suite ist großartig und hat einen Balkon. Das Hotel ist sauber und ordentlich. Der ursprüngliche Check-in um 14 Uhr war sehr intim und wir werden bis 10 Uhr benachrichtigt. Wenn Sie nach Kreta reisen, werden Sie dieses Hotel auf jeden Fall wählen. Das einzige was fehlt ist kein Fitnessstudio.

I had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.

Pros 1. In der Nähe der Stadt. Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang, Restaurants und Einkaufsstraßen kommen raus. 2. Ruhe. Obwohl es in der Nähe des Zentrums liegt, ist das Hostel sehr ruhig und stabil. 3. Sehr sauber. Das Zimmer ist sauber und gut organisiert so unfortunate zu verlassen. 4. Es gibt einige Kochinstrumente und Tischwaren. Sie können leichte Lebensmittel zu Hammern. 5. Das Personal ist wirklich freundlich. Kons: 1. Es gibt keinen Parkplatz. Es ist gut zu sagen, dass es wenige gibt. 2. Der Wasserdruck ist schwach. Gitarre Wenn Sie ein Auto besitzen, verwenden Sie die nahe gelegene bezahlte Parkplätze. Wenn Sie früh am Morgen gehen müssen, kann es schwierig sein, eine bezahlte Parkplätze zu verwenden. Es gibt eine bezahlte Parkplätze, also reden wir darüber gut!!!

The hotel is strategically located within walls of old city between the beach of Ammoudara and the main attractions, not so far from them. Hotel is re-innovated 7 floor building. Rooms are not large, but but enough for the convenient accommodation. The room has the safe, TV, several chairs, table and the wardrobe, electric kettle, air conditioner. There is quite large balcony with two beach chairs and the small table and also drying hanger for the clothes. Unfortunately there is quite a lot of dust in the air from street, so everything gets dusty very quickly. The room has electric sockets next to the beds and two other sockets, one of them with USB port. The personnel speaks English and very friendly and helpful. The avenue Kalokerinou named after the discoverer of the Knossos Palace is quite busy road so it is nicer to live on higher floors. There is a restaurant serving good continental breakfast. There is omelette, ham, cheese, Greek yogurt, flakes, fruits, on the menu. Just 70 meters from the hotel there is Bazaar and in 200 m is Chalkiadakis supermarket, Lidl in 800 m outside of the city walls. All closed on Sundays. The avenue Kalokerinou has several street food places, and if you walk 400 m to Morosini Lions Fountain you can find even more restaurants there. Heraklion has a problem with great beaches, but in 500 m from the hotel there is a Dermatos Bay, where is a wild beach where one can deep into the sea. The proper beach is in Ammoudara in 2.2 km from the hotel. There is another beach in 1 km in front of Talos Plaza shopping mall, but it is rocky and no sunbeds or lifeguard. Another place to swim is the port mole starting from the Kules fortress in 1.2 km. The mole protects from high waves when it is windy and other places are not suitable for swimming.

Sehr schöne Einrichtung, super freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück, angenehmer Aufenthalt. Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick, oben!

We chose Anemos Suites as we were looking for somewhere self-catering at the end of a month in various parts of Greece. We stayed in ”suite” 302 titled ”Sea Horse”. The room was quite spacious but there were very limited kitchen supplies. Only 3 of everything supplied (bowls, glasses etc), one burner that you plug in, kettle, sandwich toaster, one saucepan, milk pan, frypan, no microwave. We never made any meals or even a cup of tea here! They had a restaurant on site and the meal the night we arrived was tasty enough, but my husband got food poisoning from the club sandwich that night. A better dining alternative is down the end of the lane near the beach at the News Seaside Bar Restaurant where I had the best club sandwich and chips in Greece! On the second day (our first morning there, and my birthday) I attempted to have a shower but the water was cold. My husband then realised the bathroom was flooding not in the shower cubicle but bubbling up in the middle of the bathroom behind me where I hadn’t noticed. By the time he warned me and I turned it off, it was flooding out into the living area. We managed to move my suitcase just in time. We reported it but there was no-one around that morning that spoke much English. They understood enough to send the cleaner over to mop up the water and she somehow fixed the blockage, however the water was still cold so we couldn’t shower. We tried to communicate with the staff about when the hot water would be fixed but were instead handed a breakfast menu. When we asked to see the manager we were told only ”later”. After wasting a couple of hours that morning trying to resolve things (including calling our travel agent who also contacted the manager) we ended up having a sponge wash and went out to start our day. By the time we left (around 11am) someone who spoke English had arrived and he was able to tell me that a plumber would be there later that afternoon. He also gave us directions to find a doctor as my husband had developed an infection in his leg and needed antibiotics. So he at least was helpful. After returning late afternoon, I asked if we could have a replacement bathmat and hand towel as they were still soaking wet from the flooding. The elderly Greek owners started arguing with each other in Greek and then the woman argued with me saying “tomorrow” as in they were only due to replace the towels tomorrow. I think she also wanted payment for changing them earlier. I tried to explain about our room flooding but she couldn’t understand. I said they should be compensating us with a free breakfast or drinks not arguing about replacing a couple of towels, and said we would give them a bad review. There was a worker there who spoke good English (we had interacted with him the evening before) but instead of interpreting what we were saying he just went and sat at the check in desk and didn’t want to get involved. I gave up and 5 minutes later the elderly Greek lady came to our room with two towel

Dieses Hotel ist der perfekte Beweis dafür, dass es keine 5 Sterne braucht, um einzigartig zu sein.  Bereits beim Ankommen fühlte ich mich sofort wohl. Der Hotelbesitzer (Yannis) ist ein sehr herzlicher Mensch. Ich war alleine im Urlaub und er erkundigte sich jeden Tag bei mir, ob es mir gut geht und ob ich irgendetwas brauche. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, kostenfreies WLAN, Klimaanlage gegen geringe Gebühr). Nicht außer Acht zu lassen ist das Frühstück – ihr bekommt einen Tisch voller regionaler Köstlichkeiten gedeckt, auf eure Wünsche wird eingegangen und man wird mehr als satt.  Der Ort ist klein, hat gute Restaurants, einen schönen Strand und Supermärkte. Auch die Busanbindung ist super. (Ca. 10 Minuten Fahrt zum Flughafen, 15 Minuten nach Heraklion, 15 Minuten zum CretAquarium)  Yannis steht euch auch bei sämtlichen Fragen bereit, empfiehlt euch Restaurants und hilft auch gerne beim Buchen verschiedener Tagesaktivitäten. In einer Rezension über dieses Hotel habe ich gelesen: „Man kommt als Gast und geht als Freund.“ Dieser Aussage kann ich nur zu 100 % zustimmen.  Ich freue mich schon sehr auf meinen nächsten Besuch im Hotel Anna Appartments.

Es ist ok. Sone Dinge sind gut. Wie Abendessen ist ein fairer Preis für den Smorgasbord-Stil. Das Frühstück ist ok. Nicht groß. Aber genug. reicht. AC macht die Arbeit im Zimmer. Langsam. ButAC in gemeinsamen Gebieten ist bei 25. Für viele Kulturen 25 ist warm und legt Ion ein Schwitzen oder Schwitzen noch. Nicht lustig, inneren Schwitzen während der Essen. Preise sind hoch für Saft. Schlanke und so. Zu schlecht. Und einige Regeln sind merkwürdig. sagen, ich kann nicht mein eigenes Essen oder Getränke haben. etc. tut mir leid. Ihr dreisternes Hotel. Sie werden mir nicht sagen, was zu tun ist. Wir zahlen für die Unterkunft und Unterkunft. Und wir werden leben, wie wir wollen, wenn es um die Grundsätze geht. Essen für den Gedanken. Wifi ist in den Zimmern unbrauchbar. Oder unser Zimmer. Reisende brauchen Wi-Fi im modernen Stadium. Nur unannehmbar. Personal ist ok. Nicht charmant. Aber bereit, zu versuchen und zu helfen. Auch: Der Pool - kann nicht nach 6:00 Uhr verwendet werden, das ist verrückt. Reist überall auf der Welt. Ich habe das noch nie gesehen. Es ist asin. Sie gehen für den Tag. Kommen Sie zurück. Und können nicht nach 6:00 Uhr schwimmen, lächerlich. .
