We had a great stay at Manor of Groves, which started as you drive through the really well maintained golf course which is followed by the amazing hotel itself, the front of the hotel is really well presented and the reception light and inviting. Our room was comfortable and in good condition, you could of course see areas of wear and tear but for us we liked it, it has a Manor house feel to it. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful, we were served throughout our stay with smiles and enthusiasm. The food was amazing, with the pick of the meals for me being the pork shop. The dish was presented really well but most importantly tasted amazing, probably the best pork chop I have ever had. If I had one moan about the restaurant it would be that the tables were rather wobbly. I had a round of golf on the Friday, the course is immaculate and talking to one of the green keepers and his brother its clear that they take a huge amount of pride in what they do. Being new to the game I shot 102 and found the course a challenge but really fun, I bumped into a couple of members who I was lucky enough to play the last 6 holes with, they were both very friendly and helped with the shots I faced and where best to place it off the tee. Again an opportunity for improvement would be to fix the bins as a few had broken and for some reason, despite it being obvious, people still put rubbish in them, and at the back of the 16th (I think) green there are a lot of white empty containers that just lay in the under growth.

We recently had our wedding at Down Hall Hotel and Spa (October 6, 2024), and I cannot express enough how incredible the experience was from start to finish. From our very first viewing to signing the contract, and throughout all the planning stages, Tracy and the entire team truly looked after us every step of the way. I checked in the day before my wedding, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel so special and cared for during what can be quite a nerve-wracking time. The attention to detail, warmth, and care from everyone at Down Hall made all the difference. On the big day, everything was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, the team was on hand to ensure everything went smoothly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day. Down Hall made our wedding day magical, and we are so grateful to Tracy and the team for making it such a seamless and memorable experience. Thank you Tracy, thank you Down Hall team, for making our dream wedding come true!

Eine Nacht vor einem Flug, kleines Zimmer, aber alles, was Sie für einen Übernachtungsurlaub brauchen, komfortable großes Bett, Tee- und Kaffeemaschine, TV und Mini-Kühlschrank, wir hatten ein Zimmer hinter dem Hotel so ruhiger als vorne, Wir würden sicher wieder bleiben, wenn wir einen frühen Flug hatten.

Wir kamen im Hotel an und aßen in einem nahe gelegenen Restaurant zu Abend. Wir wurden vom Personal sehr freundlich begrüßt und bekamen unseren Zimmerschlüssel. Es ist mein zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Keine Beschwerden beim ersten Mal vor ca. 3 Jahren. Das Zimmer war auf den ersten Blick nicht gut. Es gab weiße Flecken auf dem Boden und den Vorhängen. Die Dusche hat Kalkflecken, wenn sie nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Meine letzte Beschwerde wäre, dass die Matratze so unbequem war, dass sich eine Feder in meinen Rücken bohrte. Wir reichten eine Beschwerde an der Rezeption ein, das Zimmer wurde nicht umgezogen, uns wurde jedoch mitgeteilt, dass die Probleme gemeldet würden. Wir reisten in den frühen Morgenstunden ab und wussten nicht, ob die Probleme gelöst wurden. Ich werde nicht zurückkehren.

Wir haben am 17. September 2022 in diesem Hotel gestoppt Das Hotel ist gut in einer guten Lage, von dem Hotel gibt es einen Transferbus zum Flughafen jede 30-minutes Kosten £4.00 pro Person, die auf dem Bus zu zahlen. Wir reservierten das Hotel über Holiday Extras und der Preis zählt 7-days Parkplatz im Hotel, die Autoparks waren groß und sicher, und Sie behalten die Autoschlüssel, wir hatten keine Probleme, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig und konnte nicht fehlgeschlagen werden. Wir essen im Hotel Restaurant, das Essen und die Getränke waren vernünftig bezahlt, und unser Kellner Dimitar war sehr freundlich und mildernd. Wenn ich wieder von Stanstead Flughafen fliege, würde ich dieses Hotel wählen.

Zimmer und Badezimmer waren groß und ziemlich modern, aber Details wie Handtücher und Toilettenrollhalter im Badezimmer (nicht vorhanden) und ein vollgrößer Spiegel im Schlafzimmer (nur ein kleiner) waren übersehen und wäre schön gewesen. Die Toilettenwerbung war eine halbe leere Handwaschflasche im Badewanne und eine halbe leere Duschegelflasche im Dusche. Eine private Küche wurde auch als enthalten angekündigt, nicht sicher, was sie von Privatpersonen meinten, da jemand sie nutzte (ich nicht), vielleicht meinten sie nur, dass Menschen nicht einfach von der Straße gehen und sie nutzen konnten. Bei der Ankunft waren Zimmer und Badezimmer nicht zu sauber und es gab keine Reinigung überhaupt während meines Aufenthalts. Das Zimmer war auf der Hauptstraße und der Verkehrslärm ging bis sehr spät und begann wieder sehr früh am Morgen. Wirklich schwer zu schlafen. Eine ganz enttäuschende Erfahrung

The hotel and the staff within the establishment deserve full praise, in particular the housekeeping team manager, Nazli, and her staff, who were supportive of our requirements. The room we stayed in smelled fresh and was dust-free. The restaurant food was excellent and surprisingly delicious. The menu options offered a variety of items that catered to the needs of both adults and children. There was also a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options.

Nice hotel, You can reach it by a bus from Stansted Airport. One is free for other You need to pay 4 pounds. So it's better to take the free one, it start directly from terminal. Mid stay par car bus. Breakfast - no cheese, no ham, no vegetables so quite poor

Das ist mein Lieblingshotel am Flughafen Stansted! Das Personal ist immer freundlich und es gibt das beste Frühstück, das ab 4 Uhr morgens beginnt. Die Zimmer sind bequem und die Dusche herrlich. Die Handtücher sind auch mit einem Waschlappen ausgestattet.
