The Forest Hill Hotel

For the price we paid and what the hotel had showcased on MMT as their offerings, it was a stay that met and in some cases even exceed our expectations. Every member of the staff we interacted with was warm and professional. They are well aware of their limitations as a small hotel and make no pretentions of being someone else, rather they operate wonderfully well within that limit. Their location too, is a big advantage for travellers driving down from Delhi. It is very close to the Ganges and also to Har ki Pauri and yet away from the commotion at the same time. Our primary purpose of visiting Haridwar was to go to the Rajaji National Park and Forest Hill is located very close to the Ranipur Range and although a bit far, but very well accessible to both Jhilmil and Chilla. The room was pretty big, comfortable and well maintained. And although it may seem surprising to many, we were really pleased to see the whole suite of channels were available on Tata Sky which is lacking in many big hotels most of the time. This attention to detail is praise worthy and we look forward to be their guest in the future too. Thank you for your hospitality and all the very best.

Good and clean property,staff behaviour was excellent,room was nice and large,only drawback you have to asked for toiletries which is quite ridiculous when you are paying upper rent charges and second breakfast buffet was small and few items as per Hotet standard. Overall good experience.

clean and spacious room. hotel premises was very clean as well. food was prepared well although they close kitchen at 10:30 PM after which you get round the clock menu. service was good, I mean room service. however service personnel don't speak English very well, so if you order food or call for maintenance etc, they may not understand you if you speak English. also there were some issues with water in bathroom. it got clogged and we had to call maintenance a few times to set it right. the hotel has a party and function hall in basement and top floor. there were some functions going on in basement and one could hear the loud music and dance all.the way till 5th floor. I wish they turned the volume down. However the party stopped at around 11 pm usually. overall good value for money. There was a girl working at reception and she seemed to speak good English. Reason for 4 stars is because of above mentioned issues we faced, otherwise I found the stay quite comfortable and nice. The hotel is located on bypass road so if you are looking to stay in main area, you may not like it We liked the calm area setting of hotel so did not have a problem with the location. The premium roos had hill view and it was quite nice. Oh one more thing, there were frequent power cuts, however the generator turned on instantly so not an issue. If the hotel management is reading this review, please ficus on above mentioned issues and fix it. Thanks for reading.

Very clean hotel and modern, stayed here for 4 days. Staff cooperative. You got to hire rickshaw to around which hotel can arrange for you. Powercuts seem to happen more often, but they have backup power so it is ok. Faced minor issues with water and wifi, Food is great. Overall good.

Clean and spacious rooms. Restaurant food was good. Place is close to popular destinations. Friendly staff.
