Hotels in der Nähe von Meriton Road Park, Handforth

Uns wurden zwei Einzelzimmer im alten Backsteingebäude - dort im Keller - gegeben. Wirklich dreckig und ungepflegt. Ein typisch englisches Flair 1800 Jahre. Ebenso in der Lobby. Dort wurde während unseres Aufenthalts offenbar eine Hochzeit gefeiert. In allen Ecken standen leere benutze Gläser herum. Höhepunkt war der Feueralarm Nachts den die Hotelleitung stundenlang nicht abstellen konnte. So verließen jede Menge Gäste start erbost das Hotel nachts. Umgebung irgendwo im Nirgendwo. Einzig allein der Airport Manchester ist 10 min entfernt - das war es aber schon. Zur nächsten Bahnstation ist es 1 Stunde Fußmarsch. Alles in allem: Einmal und nie wieder.

Ich habe seit einem Jahr an diesem PI-Kreuz fast wöchentlich geblieben und kann es nicht schuldig machen. Die Zimmer sind wie Sie von einem PI erwarten - immer unspottbar und die Lage ist schön und ruhig (wie die angrenzende Green King pub und schönen Garten) trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen Manchester und Handforth Bahnhof. Das Personal ist auch ziemlich großartig, aber Thomas ist besonders phänomenal. Er hat vor etwa 12 Monaten eine versehentliche Chattausgabe gemacht, dass es ein Zimmer gibt, das ich befürworte und oftmals als nicht er arbeitet seinen Zauberer, auch wenn er nicht zu seiner Pflicht bin ich in meiner üblichen ”Suite” ;0) Tom ist auch fantastisch, wenn es um Gastfreundschaft geht. Immer Chipper und mit einem Lächeln auf seinem Gesicht und er tut alles, was er kann, um meine Aufenthalte so angenehm wie möglich. Die kann etwas über dem Top klingen, aber ich kann ihm wirklich nicht genug danken und hoffen, dass die Macht, die bei Premier Inn HQ ein Hinweis darauf machen Und belohnen Tom für seine Exzellenz ASAP. Danke noch einmal, Tom, du bist ace und mach meine Zeit von zu Hause noch tragbarer!

Ich liebe Stanneylands für das Gefühl, besonders, eine Behandlung, aber nicht 'Cheshire set'. Wir hatten Mittagessen, also nur etwas Licht. Der Service war großartig, willkommenes Personal, und ein schöner Ort, ein paar Stunden mit einem Freund chatting 🙂 zu verbringen.

I discovered this hidden gem by accident. I had almost given up on finding a hotel that was close enough to the airport as well as to local shopping and had ac. There are only two things I have a problem with in regards to this place. Please note there is not an elevator or lift as the UK states. The other draw back is there is no way to shield the light in the bathroom area. It is hard to describe. There is a beautiful glass door to the right and left in the bath area with a sink in the middle of the space. If one has to get up to use the facilities the light being turned on glares in the face of the other one in bed. One other note is to be careful when closing the glass door. When I closed the door, my finger got closed in the door and it actually cut my finger below the cuticle. After 3 days, my finger is blue and sore. While the hotel is directly under the local airport's flight pattern, we never heard planes unless we were outside. The grounds are astounding as is the building itself. Make sure to check out the artwork throughout the place. If you like hidden staircases, watch out. The place appears to be kid friendly. There is a fabulous playground adjacent to the property. Make sure to purchase duck food for the locals. The bar, while somewhat limited in its offerings, was suitable for us. As to cost, the prices were comparable if not better than other bars/pubs we have visited.. We did not dine in the restaurant, but from what I say, the food looked amazing. The young man working reception was so very nice to help with our luggage as well as anything else we may have needed. The young ladies working in the bar were also very nice. In fact, they were so embarrassed by my asking to take their photo. They said no one had ever asked to take their photo.

What a find. So handy for the airport. Friendly host. Lovely clean room. Bathroom a wee bit 'tired' but perfectly serviceable with clean, fluffy decent sized towels. Everything we needed at a modest price. Restaurant not open for dinner but had a short walk to the Cinnamon Tree in Heald Green for an Indian which was excellent. Off too early to sample breakfast. Would recommend

This is our second stay at this hotel. Check in excellent as always. Special thanks to Chris on reception. Our room was on the ground floor over looking the rear parking area. We had a drink in the bar which was busy but a nice atmosphere.We booked a stay and parking package the whole process was good. Our car was left on-site .As we were flying from terminal 2 we used the mini bus pick up service arranged by the hotel to take us the morning of our flight. No need if your flying from terminal 1 as it’s just a few minutes walk. Thanks for another excellent stay.
