Good things to note - the hotel is in a pleasant suburb of Manchester, and the nearest town is lovely. My room was clean, check in was done by a person, and there's plenty of free parking. However, worth noting - this hotel is very basic and is lacking in facilities you would expect from a Premier Inn. Rooms have no air conditioning, no tea and coffee making facilities etc - you basically get a bed, a desk and a TV. There's also no bar and no restaurant, so no breakfast available. There is a vending machine where you can buy chocolate but if you want anything else to eat or drink you need to head out and get it yourself. Not really what you'd expect from a Premier Inn, but they state it clearly in their description so this isn't a complaint! Also be aware your room key is a physical yale lock style key on a large fob, so you need to consider carrying that around with you too. Travel distance to Manchester airport is about 15 minutes by car, so it's pretty convenient. Note that the town is walkable (about 8 minutes) and has a few restaurants, pubs and a small supermarket. Not much else in the immediate area though. So, a decent enough but very basic hotel!
