Wunderschönes Hotel, mit toller Lage am Strand. 3 Pools einer davon beheizt. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und super schön eingerichtet, wir haben die Urlaubstage sehr genossen. Frühstück war sehr lecker und vielfältig. Können dieses Hotel nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Dies ist ein Hotel, das für einen ausgezeichneten Urlaub gesorgt hat. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Es ist ruhig und gemütlich und der Meerblick ist fantastisch. Außerdem bin ich mit dem guten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr zufrieden.

Das Hotel ist in allem einwandfrei, es lohnt sich ohne Zweifel, dort eine Nacht zu verbringen

Amazong experience, really recommendable. Just the reception should take care more attention for transportation booking from Cat Ba to Hanoi, they should nominate and manage better the customer for that.

Our whole experience felt so luxurious at this gorgeous hotel. After a few days in Hanoi this was a lovely and relaxing place to be and definitely a highlight of our trip to Vietnam. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. We were able to book a private boat tour that was just breathtaking. Excellent food and amenities, including a wonderful spa experience. Overall perfect stay - would 100% recommend a stay here.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel looks even better than the photos and is so beautifully decorated! Waking up the sounds of the waves splashing up against the sand was a dream. The outdoor areas are well-maintained as well - the whole place feels like a tropical resort! All members of staff were friendly and attentive.

Amazing beautiful the view, the room, the swimming pool warm good, the staffs are very kind and friendly, the food verry delicious but they don't have sweet potato and the sauna late open and the rest are perfect for the groups and and family to chilax at the surrounding with a lot of flowers...Thank you very much for all the staff. 😇

Excellent experience during the time here, the staff are very helpful and kind, they speak good English and easy to communicate. They also provide some good recommendations on local restaurants and tour. They are willing to help on arranging transportation since the transport on island are mainly for local people. I’d enjoyed every facilities and scene here, which make me feel a deep rest and relaxation !

The hotel view is stunning but the weather is so unpredictable in cat ba… the room is nice and sizable, but the shower is just soso the breakfast is great with a lot of choices! hotel is just next to the beach and you can walk to cat ba town in 20 mins

We had a very good stay at the Perle d'orient. The staff was extremely welcoming and kind, and spoke fairly good English. The room was big and with all services provided. Plenty of facilities, including several swimming pools and spa area. The hotel is slightly away from the city centre, and we had to walk in a non illuminated street for about 20mins to get to the village centre, as there were some roadworks. The hotel called a paid electric car shuttle twice, but found the drivers to be quite rude, and we ended up preferring to walk. Finally, there is a public beach next to the resort. Unfortunately, be prepared to be disappointed, as the amount of trash and pollution in the water and on the beaches in Cat Ba and in the bays is significant (it was the same for the four days when we stayed there). This was a real shame, as if the island was well maintained it would be a paradise.

After 5 years in Vietnam, this is by far the absolute best hotel we’ve experienced to the point that it’s our #1 wedding venue for the future. This property has the ability to transform the hospitality culture in Vietnam. If you are not used to being in VN yet, I ask you understand 5 star hotels are a different culture here and practice a little bit of patience. Please remember, this is an island that’s not convenient to travel to daily for work, so most of the employees are coming directly from the island, which makes it hard to find outstanding English speakers, but it seems they’re really starting to develop their staff. The food, incredible. I would suggest the filet mignon to everyone, and actually liked it more than the ribeye. The breakfast was a wide variety for slow season. The Spa was a wonderful experience. Breathtakingly beautiful views and properties, as well as the cleanest beach I’ve ever seen in Vietnam(it’s private!). 3 pools, Sauna, Jacuzzi, Steam Room all are free for guests. 3 bars, 2 restaurants (book Japanese early and place your order early. Traditional Japanese food takes time to prepare properly) My one piece of constructive criticism as one with experience in 4 diamond hotels is a sense of urgency. This again goes back to a 5 star experience in VN and other countries. While the staff were amazing, a few really stood out with their English skills and sense of urgency. Uyen, Tuan, Dung, Nhi, Phuong and Minh were all wonderful and I appreciate their hard work to make our stay enjoyable. I do suggest tipping a little bit as it does go a long way. ***Most places in VN do not tip.*** I only tip if I see a space for a tip on the receipt or in a taxi during rush hour.

Very lovely hotel on the island. The staff were brilliant and really helpful and welcoming. Food and facilities were great. The room was very nice with a beautiful view and a awesome bed! Very good night sleep! Highly recommend.
