Pink Flamingo Hostel

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a private room which was clean and comfortable. The hostel has a kitchen with a large seating area, and this was well organised and kept clean and tidy. Location overlooks the bars and cafes in the Grote Markt so there is some noise, but it didn't cause us any problems. We had a good stay.

Awful after travelling with university with. Group made it difficult couldn't check in till 4 wanted us to stay in reception till 4 when the groups was early they knew our arrival made it very difficult. People couldn't stay with friends.Wasn't allowed to use kitchen area either which is in the accomodation. Many rules which was unreasonable.

they make you pay when you arrive because they know you're gonna stay. then they say the appartment is in the overside of the street, just in a building where are discos bars all night long and you hear the sound from the 3rd floor, with no lift of couse. No wifi, tv is not working. we did not sleep and find a real hotel for 2 nights. They were supposed to call me back on my mobile phones pro and personnal I'm still waiting for 2 weeks and they did't even apologize. they stoled me 300 euros, it's a shame, this place should be closed. Give me my money back !!

Absolutely shocking. If you are staying in The Hague, and hoping to relax and enjoy your stay, then forget it at The Pink Flamingo. Quite apart from the incessant chaotic comings and goings in the dorm rooms, there is the nocturnal chatter and hum of the night life outside. And unless you are an excellent heavy sleeper, this is not the place for you. Quite literally, each guest for themself! To the detriment of all and sundry. If you want a restful night, then a hostel like this is not the place for you. It is certainly cheap, but they hit you with a heavy tourist tax on arrival. And no one is going to accommodate you if you are uncomfortable. This is not about welcome to our country, please enjoy our hospitality. This is just take it or leave it, preferably the latter!
