Hallo, ich war 3 Nächte im Lagen. Wenn ich mehr als 5 Sterne geben könnte, würde dieses Hotel sie definitiv bekommen. Alles – der Service, die Aussicht, das Zimmer, die Gastfreundschaft, das Essen, der Wellnessbereich und nochmal der Service – war das Beste, was ich in meinem Leben je erlebt habe. Ich bin sicher, ich komme nächstes Jahr wieder!!! Danke Lagen Resort für eine wundervolle Zeit 💜

We had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation. A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal. The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Die Lage war etwas unklar, aber die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit waren gut. Auch das Ticket für den Wasserpark war nützlich.

First of all i would like to say thank you to all the staff in Carpe diem especially to Donald! ;) the guy at the reception i really appreciate the helpfulness, and also the treatment he gave us it was a delightful experienced i worked in a service industry too and this is really important to have those excellent service in order to sustain the business, whoever is the owner of this hotel please do appreciate the hard-work of Donald im really glad of what he did for us during our stay, the staff are well trained, and overall the room is huge, and clean the amenities are great:) Thank you Carpe diem! For those who checked a high quality type of service and good place to stay please choose carpe diem by the way the food is great they have a big serving its all fantastic but the most highlight of my stay is the service of Donald;) please send my regards to him M

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich gut, allerdings ist die Klimaanlage in Zimmern mit Badewanne zwar relativ neu, aber dennoch etwas laut. In älteren Zweibettzimmern, die nicht besonders gut sind, gibt es eine Fensterklimaanlage, die recht laut sein kann. Ich empfehle Ohrstöpsel mitzubringen. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Wenn der Check-out länger als zwei Minuten dauert, ruft das Hotel an und erinnert einen daran. Das ist etwas unangenehm, da Fünf-Sterne-Hotels in der Regel eine Pufferzeit von 10-15 Minuten haben und die Gäste nicht direkt anrufen. Das war etwas unangenehm. Obwohl das Frühstück um 10:00 Uhr endet, konnte ich bis 10:30 Uhr essen und hatte noch etwas zu essen. Insgesamt eine 4,5.

Das Frühstück ist großartig und das Abendbuffet mit 400 Pesos ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Personal ist nett und nichts ist ihnen zu viel Mühe. Definitiv der beste Ort zum Übernachten in Puerto Princessa.

Das Hotel ist für den Preis überraschend gut! Für nur wenige Euro mehr als die üblichen Preise von Lodges oder Backpacker-Unterkünften erhält man deutlich bessere Ausstattung, größere Zimmer und insgesamt einen besseren Service. Der Hotelbesitzer ist derselbe wie beim Zuri Resort by the Bay und dem benachbarten Westown Lagoon. Das Personal ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Hotelfassade, der Pool, die Bar und das Restaurant sind ebenfalls sehr schön. Es gibt drei oder vier Pools. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, nicht ganz so ansprechend wie die Fassade, aber dennoch in gutem Zustand und komfortabel. Der einzige Nachteil ist die Lage: Das Hotel liegt 5–6 km vom Stadtzentrum entfernt – die Fahrt mit dem Tuk-Tuk/Tricycle dauert etwa 10 Minuten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist mittelmäßig. Die Auswahl ist nicht riesig, aber es ist trotzdem gut. Insgesamt ist es für den Preis ein gutes Erlebnis.

Das Hotel (Gebäude mit 4 Etagen) verfügt über einen Gemeinschaftsbereich mit dem benachbarten, teureren Hotel, in dem Sie den Pool und die Bar nutzen können. Das Hotel ist eher für Rucksacktouristen geeignet, ohne besondere Ansprüche würde ich es NICHT für Familien und romantische Paare empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, dunkel (Blick aus dem Fenster auf die Wand), riecht nach Feuchtigkeit. Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank. Das Frühstück ist mager, aber es wird Ihren Hunger stillen. Die Bettwäsche ist von guter Qualität, die Dusche hat einen guten Warm- und Kaltwasserdruck. Reinigung auf Anfrage.

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free. Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site. Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

Hotel macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck, das Frühstück ist auch super. Fitnessraum könnte etwas größer mit mehr Auswahl sein. Die Lage ist natürlich etwas abgelegen, aber das weiß man vorher wenn man das bucht. Zimmer etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber trotzdem noch relativ gut.
