Alles war in Ordnung. Nur die Location des Hotel ist nicht Perfekt, es ist ein bisschen weit weg von U-Bahn.

Das Zimmer ist komplett möbliert und ordentlich und bietet einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Allerdings war die Servicequalität des Restaurantkellners nicht gut. Wir kamen an diesem Morgen um 10:00 Uhr zum Frühstück im Restaurant an. Auf Wunsch des Kellners zahlten wir jeweils 50 Dollar für das Frühstück und hatten nur ein ganz normales Frühstück. Nachdem wir genommen hatten die „eine“ Mahlzeit, der Kellner. Sie fingen an, das gesamte Essen wegzunehmen, ohne uns zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas essen wollten, und sagten den Gästen nie, dass das Frühstück nur bis 10:00 Uhr serviert wurde. Da uns der Restaurantkellner das Frühstück in Rechnung stellte, sollte er uns vor dem Abholen das Essen ausklingen lassen oder den Bewohnern vor der Abrechnung klarmachen, dass das Frühstück nur bis 10:00 Uhr serviert wird! Überfordern Sie nicht, ohne es deutlich zu machen!

Very nice service apartment located in Haizhu District. Rooms are well furnished and laundry is very convenient. Can access the adjoining mall through 5th floor lobby but the mall has seen its better days. Gym is very great and the sauna, steam rooms are clean and accessible. Kids playroom is modest. Have to depend on taxi as the metro is a bit of hike.

To be honest, this is my second visit to this hotel. My friends and I went last month just for a weekend and i was so impressed that I thought this place would be great to spend spring festival since I didn’t want to spend it in my city. Unfortunately, this time around, the hotel just did not live up to expectations. I don’t know if it’s because I had an executive room before where this time we had a deluxe room, but there were just so many problems and a very big difference in attitude of the hotel staff.  1. One of our biggest problems was with the bellmen. For some reason, one of them kept telling us that people give and get red packets during Chinese New Year’s (he did this multiple times with different people), and he even went as far as to ask one of them for said packet. Tipping isn’t even a part of their culture here and even if it was, it’s super impolite to demand it. In another instance, my friend was having trouble locating the food she had ordered so she went down and she tried to speak to the other bellman and he snubbed her over and over again. He even twisted up his face like she was a bother to him, and like it wasn’t his job to help her, seeing as how she is a guest in the place that he works and all.  and this was directly contrasting with how he treated other guests (I watched him as I was checking out; super enthusiastic guy), but I don’t want to play the race card. 2. Our bathroom had an issue with the drain. From a horrible pee scent to not having water go down and eventually flooding the bathroom. It was just so troublesome for 3/4 of our day. There were other little issues, but those would’ve been more tolerable if the previous two weren’t such a big deal. And though there were good features of our stay, unfortunately, the bad outweighed it. Good features included a very helpful young man. That was there at Knight who helped us sort out the Wi-Fi issue we had been having. We had not been able to connect at night for two consecutive nights and it was starting to piss us off, but he helped to fix that real quick. Additionally, the lady who did housekeeping on our floor was the sweetest at this place and quite nice. Oh and while I mention housekeeping, cleanliness was OK. We didn’t find any fly away hairs or anything like that in our rooms or in the living room, but there was just one straw on the bathroom shower. Aside from that, everything was OK though the walls of the living room showed obvious signs of a long time dirt marks and patches.  Anyways, as it relates to rooms, the layouts are generally the same and it is quite nice but the condition of the one that we got this time was definitely much MUCH worse than the executive suite so if you are someone who is looking to go to this place, be sure to spend a lot of money and book a more expensive suite. PERHAPS your room will be better and the staff will treat you better. I don’t think I’ll be returning though. Not willing to risk it.

Nice location , there’s malls and shops and eateries just downstairs and nearby. Can see the canton tower from our room too.

This hotel exceeded my friends and I expections! KIWI at the front desk gave us an upgrade and we were very happy happy it!

Apartment was clean. Breakfast was very nice, had a mix of Western and Chinese food. Upon check-in, apartment had amenities such as soap, lotion, conditioner, body wash, shampoo, laundry detergent, bottled water and some other toiletries. Bed was comfortable. Location is very near Wanda Plaza and Hobson Plaza shopping centre, so food, convenience stores and grocery is very convenient.

Overall a great experience of staying at Somerset hotel. The staff can speak English, check-in and check-out processes were smooth. The room itself was very comfortable with daily cleaning. There are 2 shopping malls right outside the hotel.

Hotel at perfect standard.. Friendly staff... Rooms r big and tidy.. Free upgraded to bigger room. With canton tower view.... Sauna, steam, gymnasium are very good and clean... Well equipped.... Breakfast is also OK.. Not bad for 68 RMB.... Though trip.com has mentioned 100 RMB...

Check in and out was quick. Location of the hotel is in a residential area and connected to a mall. There are lots of eateries around. What we didn't fancy about this hotel is the entrance of the hotel is not facing the main road and is a walk from the entrance. The apartment doesn't come with plates and utensils but we can get it by calling the receptionist. We like that the robot will deliver our food delivery to our room hence we didn't have to go down to collect.

My experience in this hotel was horrible, the noise level is ridiculous. I got no sleep whatsoever and I needed to wake up early everyday for the canton fair. The staff were incredibly rude. They wanted to charge me for "cleaning" my room 138 rmb because I accidentally spilled a soup in my room. The room was absolutely dirty to begun with. They also charged me 4k rmb JUST to reserve and another 4k rmb to PAY the hotel once I arrived in total a little more then 8K rmb and my bank doesn't return the deposit until 30 days after so that was money I wasn't going to be seeing anytime soon and I depended on my card money to get around.

The location is perfect, the room are huge and clean. The front desk can speak english and are very polite and helpful. The breakfast is really good, I asked for a french omelette with oignons and tomatoes. The chef did it perfectly. Just one small problem:the room in front of me, a man was always whistle and I could not sleep, I asked the front desk and they asked him to stop but the second and third day. He continued. I think that he lives there because they can rent for a month. I highly recommend you to book with breakfast, the bed are confortable. I will definitely come back next tome in the same hotel

The hotel is at great location, there are lots of shopping mall , eateries there. Wanda is also nearby. The hotel facilities are also very good, with refrigerator, microwave oven, conduction plate, washing machine with detergent also. One thing that needs improvement is breakfast, though it was good but not as great as in other brands. Canton tower can be seen from the window. The hotel also has children playing area, billiard room and gym facilities.
