Hotel de Gletscher

Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were all very accommodating. There was an excellent choice of wines in the evening, and the breakfasts were varied and filling. We were fortunate to have had very good snow conditions and this made the views from our room delightful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ski week. The hotel is full of alpine charm. Rooms are lovely and a decent size. Good choice for breakfast and dinner with lots of home cooked dishes. Great selection of Italian wine too. Best of all is the wonderful hospitality and service we had from the family owners and their team.

TL;DR = highly recommended, stop looking elsewhere, just book here for a great stay. We came back after the Covid years, and found that Hotel de Gletscher has kept all of its charm and is still ‘the place to be’ when looking for a relaxing and energizing ski-holiday. The best hospitality and personal service ever experienced in Italy, excellent food (this year even from a star-restaurant chef !), great spacious rooms with amazing view of the mountains and slopes, and all amenities you’d want for a best-in-class stay. Many thanks again to Francesca and Marcello for being our hosts, and a special ‘grazie mille’ to Pelagio for solving all our rental-car troubles. We are sure to come back for skiing again, and probably also for a summer hike in the future !

Anche quest'anno, come nei due precedenti, io e mia figlia abbiamo scelto Gressoney per la nostra vacanza estiva e, come sempre, l'Hotel Gletscher, ai piedi del Monte Rosa, si è dimostrato il posto migliore dove soggiornare per godere appieno dello splendore del luogo. Belle e spaziose le camere (dotate di minibar e terrazza solarium), gratuiti il parcheggio, la connessione wifi e l'area benessere (con bagno turco e sauna). Sempre ottima la colazione, per noi vegana, in locale raccolto e accogliente. Francesca e Marcello accolgono gli ospiti come membri della famiglia. Il luogo è semplicemente paradisiaco. Per i vegani c'è un negozio di prodotti veg a Gressoney Saint Jean e un bel rifugio 100% veg facilmente accessibile, anche utilizzando il vicino impianto di risalita.

Hotel molto bello, di fronte alla partenza della cabinovia dello Staffal . Francesca, la proprietaria disponibile e premurosa. La camera pulitissima. La colazione fantastica. Tutto ottimo !! Ci tornerò più che volentieri.
