"The only reasons I gave 4/5 stars for service was the self service hot beverage station and making your own toast. Order their specials better, however, this time my poached eggs were not soft. Excellent wine and excellent bar lunch which they allowed us to eat in the restaurant which was a bonus. I love this location. Walks through the wetlands and to Penarth and easy links to Barry Island. Spa brilliant and the quiet area next to the gym brilliant for reading"

"Ontbijt is matig, ze konden niet alles aanvullen soms was iets gewoon op! Vieze scrambeld eggs, duidelijk gemaakt van eipoeder, geen gekookte eieren of gebakken ei. Kamers en gebouw smoezelig. Warme kamers, gelukkig stond er een zeer stoffige ventilator. Personeel heel vriendelijk."

"In der Nähe der Stadt Bay und einem sehr kurzen Bus zur Hauptstadt und zum Schloss Cardiff. Frühstück war ausgezeichnet (aber keine Muesli). Zimmer geräumig, aber kein Kühlschrank (Ich glaube, das Vereinigte Königreich nicht kühlschrank) haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen und würden uns hier voll empfehlen. Autopark ist nebenan der Tür eines Multi-Carparks, der von dem Hotel @ 25 - 30% subventioniert wird."

"The hotel would have been great value for money if it wasn't for the fact that I had the worst night ever in a hotel. Whoever was placed opposite my room in the hotel took it upon themselves to make as much noise as possible until 1:30 AM, to the point it was shouted in the corridor outside my door. They even kept trying my door handle, and I was unnerved all evening, having the need to barricade myself in. As a single woman staying alone, I didn't feel safe to go to reception until the next morning, where when I explained what had happened, I was told, ”Oh well, hopefully next time you come it will be better.” I bitterly had 4 hours of broken sleep and left at 7 AM. It's a shame as it's located exactly where I needed and the room was suitable to my needs. But the whole point of a hotel room is to sleep, and I did not sleep or feel safe."

"I stayed here for one night for a brief business trip to Cardiff. Its location is amazing right next to the main train station.  this made it very very convenient to travel in from London and check in within minutes. The room was comfortable and the shower and bathroom were great. The breakfast was also quite impressive considering the hotel isn’t very expensive."

"This new hotel is very clean and perfect location except the door lock is not working properly.  It is not perfectly fit and the room except to pull harder to lock it.  Besides, the room has no telephone which causes inconvenience if you need help. I spent an hour to keep going down to look for help several times.  I suggest the hotel could leave a note of the front desk phone.number for the clients convenience 🙏🙏"
