Perfekte Lage, große Umgebung, keine Störungen im natürlichen Himmel. Das Hotel selbst ist schön, Atmosphäre und Dekoration. Die Probleme kommen aus dem Zimmer Chambre des Lys, das nicht groß genug für unsere Gedanken für die Nachtrate von 530 EUR ohne Frühstück. Alle verfügbaren Stuhls waren (weit) gefärbt und selbst nach der Forderung keine Änderung oder Deckung, die für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel unbedingt enttäuschend ist. Wir haben eine Terrasse mit großer Aussicht auf den Tal, aber schließlich eine Seite Aussicht, die nicht beeindruckend ist ... Die Terrasse selbst war zu klein, so dass keine Sonnenbäder ....Obwohl Sie sie auf der Website bemerken können, einschließlich auf der untenstehenden Zimmerkategorie Or des Sauges ... so würden Sie eine viel bessere Ausrüstung erwarten ... Das Badezimmer ist gut und sehr geräumig, aber die Wartung kann verbessert werden ; der Duschetappe fehlte ein Deckstück, um die Schrauben zu verstecken. Kein willkommenes Geschenk Obst oder Schokoladebehandlung ... 1 kleine Mineralflasche für 3 Tage ... Essen ist großartig, aber aus irgendeinem Grund wollte ein junger Kellner immer die Platten entfernen, bevor wir unsere Platten fertig gemacht. Frühstück schöne Wahl, schöne Terrasse, Service ok. Nachmittags Tee komplimentar großartig. Insgesamt fühlen Sie sich nie wirklich außergewöhnlich/ausgezeichneter Service und Vip-Behandlung, wie Sie beispielsweise in einigen Pariser Palasts. So wäre es ein 4-Sterne.

Das Hotel ist sehr interessant. Das Auto ist an die Tür gefahren, also kann es keine Tür finden, kann niemand sehen, und die Navigation zeigte, dass es hier ist. Wir haben wiederholt gesucht, das Auto ist langsam an die Tür herangezogen und die Tür ist langsam automatisch geöffnet. Nach dem Einstieg war das Luxus voller Autos und die Menschen erkannt, wie es so genannte ”niedrige Schiene” ist.

Wir haben seit einigen Jahren die VVF gewöhnt, diesen wichtigen Club entdeckt. Claire, die Animatorin, war sehr nett mit den Kindern ... Mein Sohn wurde ein Fan der Scoubidos ... Sehr ruhige (zu viel?) Dorf, aber ideal gelegen, um in der Region zu besuchen (Vaison-la-Romaine, Nîmes, Avignon, der Berg Ventoux, Lavande Museum, Ocres ...). Vielen Dank an Roland, zentraler Charakter des VVF, für seine Sympathie, Verfügbarkeit und Wissen in der Region!

Als Stammgäste und Velofahrer waren wir seit Jahren stets begeistert von der Coquillade und der einmalig schönen Poolanlage und der grossartigen Umgebung. Unter der neuen Führung hat sich Einiges verbessert und vor allem verschlechtert. Positiv ist der Zimmerservice mit den Früchten bei der Ankunft, dem Wein, die Goodies und das stets frische Wasser in Glasflaschen. Negativ die Schrott-Kaffeemaschine und die kuriosen und qualitativ schlechten Duschmittel. Umständlich ist das neue Parkierkonzept für aktive und initiative Gäste. Hier wurde uns immerhin eine bessere Lösung angeboten. Beim Frühstück Butter nur auf Bestellung, die drei Sorten Konfitüre in Kleinstgläsern und das ungeniessbare Rührei. Der Hauptschwachpunkt sind aber die Restaurants. Abgesehen vom eindrücklichen kalten Buffet im Cipressa hat das kleine Angebot der Karte die Qualität einer Touristenfalle. Im Les Vignes hat es keine wechselnden Menus mehr sondern eine sehr bescheidene Karte. Die Vorspeisen sind ok, die Hauptspeisen deftig-ölig und einfach. Die grosse Weinkarte mit vorwiegend absurd hohen Preisen wie in einem Pariser Dreisterne-Lokal sind in diesem Restaurant einfach nur lächerlich. Offenbar will man die Gäste dazu zwingen den bezahlbaren Eigenwein Aureto zu geniessen. Unsere Einschätzung wurde durch anwesende Schweizer Stammgäste bestätigt.

My wife and I were traveling in Provence with a rental car. Initially I booked at this hotel for its easy access with parking, more than anything else, as the last thing I want is to navigate the narrow alleys in southern France small city centers. However, our experience at the hotel has exceeded expectation in every single aspect. Our rental car broken down soon after arriving at the hotel, needless to say, it gave us A LOT of trouble dealing with car rental/towing service. Multiple reception staff members (3-4 of them in total, on day of arrival/next day) gave us so much help (helping call the car rental company in french, holding car key/waiting for mechanic to show up, suggesting solutions, etc.). Deeply grateful. Location of hotel itself is great too, easily walkable to the small city. Initially was a little worried about the hotel sitting right next to a round-about, but traffic was actually light. Not much noise from the road at all. Room size is adequate, with all necessary amenities. May not be luxurious, but certainly comfortable. For the price, location, and service provided, I don't have any complaint at all. Breakfast is wonderful, especially with freshly made house-made pastries. They are superb, especially considering we have stayed at many high-end hotels in France including multiple palace hotels in Paris. The croissants may not beat the ones we had at Plaza Athenee or Ritz Paris, let's say, but they are pretty close in quality and thus more delicious than many other big-name 5-star hotels/vineyard chateau/resorts in Paris or Bordeaux or Provence region. To summarize, the location, the comfort, the breakfast/service are all excellent, and above all, the service has been exceptional. Especially considering its price tag, it provides unbeatable value. We would certainly stay here again if we ever visit L'isle Sur-La-Sorgue again.

My partner and I stayed at Capelongue for our honeymoon and had the most perfect time! We were greeted with a lovely bottle of rosé champagne to kick off our romantic stay. First, the space and surroundings are absolutely breathtaking and instantly relaxing. Beyond the stunning natural landscape, the interior designers and architects truly left no stone unturned with this building. We were blown away by every little detail that made the space feel natural yet elevated. Next, the incorporation of local products, produce, and wines made us feel like we lived in the region. More than anything else, though, we felt wholly taken care of by the phenomenally kind, caring, and courteous staff members. Somehow they made sure we had everything we could possibly need without us noticing, making our lives feel joyous and easy every day. We must give a major shoutout to Marco who is an absolutely lovely person. He greeted us with kindness and made us feel like he was as happy to be there as we were. We can also not speak highly enough about Lauren, sommelier. Lauren could not be a more charismatic and lovely person to speak with, and she is trailblazing the wine industry. Her selected wine pairings for our incredible dinner at La Bastide blew us away. Her knowledge and passion for wine is unmatched. We will be back just to reconnect with her next summer! Finally, the location is fantastic if you are looking to do some exploring in the region. We visited Roussillon, Gordes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, and Lourmarin to explore their local markets and restaurants, and easily traveled to Seneca Abby to see the lavender fields. Could not recommend Capelongue more!

The previous reviews aren't wrong! Our room was great - bigger than we expect in France - and very comfortable. The wonderful woman on reception was brilliant and helped us book a table in the only restaurant open on a Sunday night in Carpentras (it was a great meal, by the way!) The garage is secure and is, it must be said, a couple of minutes' walk away. But there is a little driveway at the front of the hotel so you can load/unload with ease. I was just glad to have secure parking! Breakfast was good, with plenty of choice and a calm atmosphere. All in all, a good choice if you're stayingg in Carpentras!
