E1 Suites & Spa Aparthotel Style - Gym & Spa

Situated near the North face of The Rock, i chose this place as a wedding night stay as proof of residence to meet the legal side of our wedding and Rebecca and Ana could not have been more helpful. Forwarding all the paperwork directly to the commissioners for us and arranging for us to pick up our key from a lockbox, due to the lateness of our check in. Our apt was spotless and very modern with all of the stuff you would need for your stay. Including, (top marks) a Dolce Gusto coffee machine. Our room (1508), had a small balcony that was so close to The Rock, it felt like you could touch it. 2 mins walk takes you to a sandy beach and 10-15 mins you are at Catalan Bay, another small sandy beach with a couple of eateries. Everything was perfect except the bed ! The most uncomfortable and noisy bed I have ever experienced . Which was a shame as the rest of the property stood up to expectations Communication ahead of stay and during stay was excellent , easy to access. Very clean , well equipped suite The cafe/bar downstairs was excellent , great food , great prices Location a little out of the way from Main tourist attractions , but nothing is too far away in GiB . Ample bus routes to help you get around too I was just saying mobility is an issue , and walking isn’t your thing , this may not be the place for you in the height of summer The pool and spa was an added gem , clean , well serviced and easy to use If it wasn’t for the bed … it genuinely would be a 5 star review

These apartments are beautiful, modern with all amenities, easy quick check In , 1 studio / 1 bedroom apartment- both very large, modern upto date kitchen/ bathroom etc , washing machine / kettle / toaster / coffee making machine/ fridge freezer . Sky tv with firestick every channel !! Also air conditioning , View was lovely , high floor 16 ,place was spotlessly clean , restaurant was super breakfast every morning recommend the pancakes and cooked breakfast , beach was 2 mins walk away , town 15 mins - plenty of buses and taxi's outside apartments, can't fault this place staff were excellent helpful- would highly recommend- will return

Lovely 1 bedroom suite. The bed was incredibly comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Well equipped. Spa was good too although fitness room is quite small and only has basic equipment. Rebecca was very helpful. Would visit again. Freska cafe was a mixed bag. Only recommended if it’s not busy or you don’t mind poor service and a long wait. It’s about 10-15 mins to walk into town, the airport or to Ocean Village.

We visited this place during a trip around Andalusia. The studio was clean and large enough. The furniture on the other hand were from rather cheap quality in IKEA style. There was no real normal bed but a lounge which can be unfolded as bed. There is no room service available, you have to do it yourself.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the E1 spa in Gibraltar.The apartment was so luxurious and absolutely immaculate, and the beds & pillows are so comfortable. Rebecca the manager was so helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay such a special experience, she was very friendly and approachable and full of fun facts and places to go in Gibraltar. The spa was fantastic and definitely worth the experience. The Freska café/ bar had a great choice and the food was really good. Thank you Rebecca and E1 team for such a lovely special stay

Having spent six days in Gibraltar we decided to book into this place. Nice space. Felt like a one bedroom flat. Awesome shower and really good facilities. The gym and spa are first class and we’ll maintained. Only criticism really would be the furnishings are cheap and just won’t last. Everything felt a little “IKEA”. It’s really noisy as is on the main tour from Spain and also surrounded by high rise flats. Not a nice area! Long walk into the shopping too but nice beaches close by. The windows rattle as can get very windy.

Easy to find. Room good with good facilities including kitchen area with full cooker, full size fridge freezer, toaster, microwave, washing machine/dryer combined. No dishwasher and no cloth/liquid provided which we didn't spot until we were leaving. I'm guessing we could have asked. Comfortable bed, pushed into one corner so be careful if you sleep on the right side. Spa area very good. Great pool, good sauna and steam room. Facial I had was superb with an excellent therapist. Spa staff were friendly. Downsides- car parking. Outside is a building site and one day it was very precarious to exit but the workman helped us. You use a remote parking lift system which is expensive to use and a significant wait to get your car. Location- not great. You are at least 30 mins walk into Main Street and nearly an hour to get the cable car for the top of the rock. If you have any mobility issues at all you are going to find this tough and the walking is along very busy fast roads. Food is very expensive both to buy in supermarkets (if you can find one) and in restaurants. Public loos don't seem to exist either (not the hotel's fault but worth mentioning). I had an extraordinarily horrible experience attempting to rely on the kindness of strangers (again not hotel fault but if you're planning to stay somewhere outside and needing to walk everywhere something to bear in mind) The spa treatment was outstanding. I didn't appreciate being asked for large tips when I filled in the survey though.

Great place to stay, brand new with an amazing spa, the spa pool and sauna was the best. The room was a good size, the bed comfortable. Coffee machine and a kitchen. The lady that runs it was great, friendly, helpful and kept us informed. Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs was good and value for money. We would stay again,I hope it keeps looking this good.
