Ich und meine Frau blieben im Hilton Gateshead Sat 22/10, check in war einfach und schnell, die App war einfach zu benutzen und ich habe mein Zimmer zuvor ausgewählt, das Zimmer war schön und sehr sauber, wir hatten eine schöne River-Aussicht, die unseren Aufenthalt noch besser machte. das Bett waren Sehr komfortable und wir schliefen gut, Ich benutze den lebenden guten Fitnessraum am nächsten Morgen, dies war ein sehr guter Fitnessraum und viel besser als die enttäuschende kleine Fitnessraum in der Newcastle quayside Malmaison. Insgesamt ein schönes Wochenende und wir werden zurückkehren

Fantastically located on the quayside. The hotel has parking spaces but these are limited and therefore I parked at the car park opposite Gateshead college, around 6 mins walk away. Tbh it was cheaper to park there than the hotel car park and not that far. The hotel itself is nicely presented and the adjoined bar on the ground floor also has outdoor seating so that you may enjoy the views. The views itself are very decent from the room I was in. The room was very clean apart from a few handprint stains on the wall above the toilet in the bathroom. They looked more like old stains which probably wouldn’t come out unless it was painted again. Can’t comment on breakfast as I didn’t have any, but the hotel provided a complimentary coffee voucher from the bar and also some money off food from their restaurant. Overall a nice hotel and would stay again if ever in the area.

Schönes Hotel mit Parkplatz (zusätzlich bei £5 pro Tag) Die Zimmer waren kalt, so musste man die ganze Nacht heißen, was kein Problem war. Personal sehr freundlich. Wir blieben auf der Etage 6 oberste Etage Zimmer 602 und würden sicherlich den Aufenthalt noch einmal bedenken.

GOOD points- Welcomed and checked in by a friendly, informative and pleasant lady, who had a sunny disposition and was juggling numerous roles including serving in bar, cheking in/out (Reception) and cooking/serving to name a few, this lady was approachable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. BAD points- where to start .. 1. Rooms where outdated (which would have been fine if clean), extremely poorly maintained and certainly not cleaned daily (if at all). Behind bathroom door was a collection of dirt, dust amd bit of rubbish, cleaner cleary has not closed this door or cleaned behind it for a while! Skirting boards where thick with dirt, sheets had holes amd walls had some kind of fluid ”sprayed” all over them (i dread to think what but can't discount it may be human material) im saddened to write this but feel its necessary to inform and alert others. A lick of paint, bottle of bleach and a hoover would have made such a difference at very little cost to hotel. 2. To access rooms you need to venture through an unused dining room (well not used to dine in) its used as a storage facility and is unsightly, after this you make your way along what i can only describe as the ”staff corridor” past the greasy kitchen (door was wide open) and other areas that i would imagine elsewhere would be out of public view to a steepish staircase which lead to the rooms. 3 Corridor leading to rooms was dark and dingy in day light but worse at night as none of the lights apart from the illuminated ”Fire Exit” sign so we relied on torches from our phones to navigate safely. I did not expect the Ritz for the prive we paid for a family of 3 but i do expect the basics to be right which is cleanliness, cleanliness and cleanliness!! Surely has no-one learned from Covid-19?!? Cleanliness should always be a priority even even more so during a pandemic.

We stayed for 6 nights and whilst not cheap was excellent value for money. The rooms are large with a massive bed and sofa. Clean ensuite with an excellent shower. Front of house staff were friendly but Steph and Megan were exceptional. As were Ferida and Jimmy in the restaurant for breakfast. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of hot and cold choice. My only observation is that as the hot food is cooked then kept warm at the self-service station, items such as the fried eggs and tomatoes can dry out. However you can request fresh omelette (excellent) or poached eggs (excellent) or fresh mushrooms (excellent) or black pudding (more than excellent!!). We only ate one of our six evening meals in the restaurant as after a four hour drive, it was easier. The food was fine but the service from Josh was fabulous ... a credit to the hotel. My only criticism was when I read my bill having got home, there was an automatic 12.5% service charge for the meal. If you like Indian food I can certainly recommend Jashn restaurant which is only four minutes drive and was one of the best Indian meals I have ever had (I could also recommend Michelangelo for high quality Italian and only 8 minutes from the hotel). We had a fabulous break seeing family and friends and will certainly be back next year and would stay at the Delta again

Booked this for 2 nights as it was in walking distance of a wedding we were attending. Bit concerned about previous reviews. Yes it’s a little run down from the outside. It appeared to be have been painted recently inside. Check in was easy. Was shown were the dining room was for breakfast. Room was clean and tidy. We opted for en-suite. Shower was ok once you got the setting right. Breakfast was good, full English cooked fresh while you helped yourself to tea/coffee juice etc. didn’t need anything to eat again until well into the afternoon. For the price we paid we thought it was well worth it. It’s not the Hilton or their price. Would we stay again, definitely if in the area .

Ich benutze einen Rollstuhl und meine Tochter ist meine Pflege. So hatte ich ein zugängliches Zimmer auf dem Boden. Wir hatten auch unseren Hund mit uns. Ich muss sagen, dass alle Mitarbeiter über dem Board von oben bis unten so erstaunlich sind. Sie sind nett, sorgfältig, hilfreich und machen Zeit zu hören, wenn Sie sie brauchen. Das Frühstück ist immer frisch, heiß und schmackhaft. Das Zimmer ist immer unspottbar sauber und das Bett ist so komfortabel. Ich würde dieses besondere Hotel jedem empfehlen. Sie werden gedacht, sich von jedem Mitarbeiter willkommen und respektiert zu fühlen. Wird in Zukunft zurückkehren, keine Frage darüber. Vielen Dank an jedes & jedes Teammitglied. Wehave been a loyal customer of Premier Inn for many years, appreciating the consistent quality and value your hotels have traditionally offered. However, I am disappointed to report that my recent experiences have not met the standards I have come to expect. During our stay at the Team Valley Premier Inn, We encountered several issues that significantly impacted my experience. The hotel appeared to be poorly maintained, with cleanliness being a major concern. Additionally, the staff seemed disinterested and unengaged, which further detracted from the overall experience. The dining experience at the Thyme restaurant was particularly disappointing. The food, while initially looked promising, was served with stale bread and without butter. My soup arrived without bread, and the burgers were served cold. Despite bringing these issues to the staff's attention, the response was unsatisfactory, and it took considerable effort to eventually obtain a refund for the meal. Given these experiences, I am hesitant to consider Premier Inn as my go-to hotel chain in the future. I hope they will take this feedback seriously and address the issues to ensure that future guests do not encounter similar problems.
