"Stayed here many times with work. Excellent location, super friendly staff and amazingly clean. Great value for money. Restaurant inside and bar which is a little expensive for what it is but there is a pub and carvery across the road (2mins walk). Parking is free and there is always loads of it. The hotel itself is on a bit of a retail park which can get busy at times but I’ve never struggled to park and I’ve stayed here at least 40 nights since April. I don’t write reviews to be fair. But credit where it is due."

"The lady on reception was very helpful when we had to ring up because the emailed post code actually sent us to another Travelodge at Chester-Le-Street ( Church Mouse).... our SatNav solution was to type in Washington, and an option for the correct Travelodge appeared. Upon arrival, the receptionist was again helpful and very pleasant. The room was very clean. The stay for one night was pleasant and excellent value. Thank you."

"The nicest receptionist you could ever have, so accommodating and put up with me for 2 nights requesting different things. She really made the place to be honest. Cleanliness in the room was quite poor, heavily condensated windows meant there was loads of black mould around glass, and the bathroom although appeared clean enough felt grubby. Old fixtures and little updating. Over all had everything I needed for a quick business trip, ant a cheap rate and probably would use again if not for anything but the hospitality of the staff."

Denken Sie, dass jeder im Zimmer Tourette hatte und eine Fertigstellung von wem eine Tür schlagen kann die lautste. Die Wände sind Papier dünn. Wenn sie nach Nahrungsmitteln oder Getränken gefragt hatten sie nie, was wir gefragt hatten, obwohl es im Menü war"

Bathroom door was a little difficult to shut but not a big issue. Handy to have a fridge in the room."
