Hier für ein Hühner Wochenende geblieben. Sehr schöne Standard-Hotel, Zimmer sind sehr sauber und Haushaltung wirklich machen ihre Arbeit gut. Was machte den Hotel-Standort am meisten erinnerlich war das Frühstückspersonal. Als Gruppe haben wir in vielen Hotels für Wochenendebesuche geblieben, haben wir nie so willkommen gefühlt. Sam, Carol, Sarah und Aiden haben es getan, sie waren so glücklich, singen weg und haben einen Lächeln, während immer noch die Standards, die ich für ein Restaurant erwartet hätte. Wir haben das Gefühl verlassen, wir haben mit Freunden für das Wochenende verblieben. Wir werden sicher dieses Hotel wieder verwenden und hoffen, sie alle dort zu sehen. Das Hotel war eine angenehme 20 Minuten zu Fuß nach Newcastle, wandeln über die Brücke mit vielen zu sehen entlang der Straße in Quayside. Viele Stag und Hühner Parteien, aber das Lärmschrank wurde respektiert.

GOOD points- Welcomed and checked in by a friendly, informative and pleasant lady, who had a sunny disposition and was juggling numerous roles including serving in bar, cheking in/out (Reception) and cooking/serving to name a few, this lady was approachable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. BAD points- where to start .. 1. Rooms where outdated (which would have been fine if clean), extremely poorly maintained and certainly not cleaned daily (if at all). Behind bathroom door was a collection of dirt, dust amd bit of rubbish, cleaner cleary has not closed this door or cleaned behind it for a while! Skirting boards where thick with dirt, sheets had holes amd walls had some kind of fluid ”sprayed” all over them (i dread to think what but can't discount it may be human material) im saddened to write this but feel its necessary to inform and alert others. A lick of paint, bottle of bleach and a hoover would have made such a difference at very little cost to hotel. 2. To access rooms you need to venture through an unused dining room (well not used to dine in) its used as a storage facility and is unsightly, after this you make your way along what i can only describe as the ”staff corridor” past the greasy kitchen (door was wide open) and other areas that i would imagine elsewhere would be out of public view to a steepish staircase which lead to the rooms. 3 Corridor leading to rooms was dark and dingy in day light but worse at night as none of the lights apart from the illuminated ”Fire Exit” sign so we relied on torches from our phones to navigate safely. I did not expect the Ritz for the prive we paid for a family of 3 but i do expect the basics to be right which is cleanliness, cleanliness and cleanliness!! Surely has no-one learned from Covid-19?!? Cleanliness should always be a priority even even more so during a pandemic.

Es war 40 Quid pro Nacht für ein Zwillings so nicht erwarten 5 Sterne .. Es war sauber genug, aber weiblich im Toilette aber für 1 Nacht machte es die Arbeit. Türverriegelung wurde gebrochen, so musste improvisiert werden. Autopark war dunkel und ein bisschen spoof .. Personal war am Platz auf dem

We stayed for 6 nights at our Hotel Express. Very pretty and we are located by the river. Very easy to walk to many restaurants and a beautiful walking path along the river. Very nice rooms and also we got free car parking

Ich benutze einen Rollstuhl und meine Tochter ist meine Pflege. So hatte ich ein zugängliches Zimmer auf dem Boden. Wir hatten auch unseren Hund mit uns. Ich muss sagen, dass alle Mitarbeiter über dem Board von oben bis unten so erstaunlich sind. Sie sind nett, sorgfältig, hilfreich und machen Zeit zu hören, wenn Sie sie brauchen. Das Frühstück ist immer frisch, heiß und schmackhaft. Das Zimmer ist immer unspottbar sauber und das Bett ist so komfortabel. Ich würde dieses besondere Hotel jedem empfehlen. Sie werden gedacht, sich von jedem Mitarbeiter willkommen und respektiert zu fühlen. Wird in Zukunft zurückkehren, keine Frage darüber. Vielen Dank an jedes & jedes Teammitglied. Sie sind alle erstaunlich. Vielen Dank für unseren Aufenthalt so erinnerebar und wunderbar.
