Howard Johnson by Wyndham Galloway Atlantic City Area

The location was perfect. Being just over 5 miles from Atlantic City makes it ideal if you need public transportation, the bus picks up directly in front of the hotel and there is a train a little over a mile away. Overall we found the hotel to be clean and the staff friendly and accomodatig. The breakfast however, should be avoided, as it felt like they purposely tried to save as much money as possible while technically still being able to advertise the meal. The rooms were average size but were perfectly comfortable. Overall a good stay!

The location was convenient. It is an old hotel that is in the process of being updated. The breakfast was pathetic - 1 flavor of granola bars and coffee and tea. Not sure what the rationale was for that. If it is COVID, that is a poor excuse. Don't advertise a free breakfast if that is the case. otherwise it was fine for the price.

Was okay for just the few hours of sleep to be able to get back on the road to head home

It is very clean and a quiet place to stay. Me and my family stay here all the time. The staff are very friendly and respectful. I can’t wait to stay again.

Very quiet

My boyfriend and I have stayed there several times and the person that checked us in wasn't friendly and I asked him if I could have a different room on the 2nd or 3rd floors because I really didn't want to be on the 1st floor and his response was no because they were still cleaning and I didn't check in until after 7PM. The room was clean but needed some repairs.

It’s always great except when ppl call the front office because of our music but other than that amazing!!!

The property itself is not lovely, but it's adequate and the staff keeps it clean enough. The restaurant is GREAT if you like Indian food, and I do! A major quality of life issue for me is access to plenty of hot coffee in the morning and you're NOT going to get that here. In your room, you get a little coffee pot with one bag of regular coffee (and one decaf, plus some black tea bags) and NO filters to brew the coffee, NO creamers to lighten the coffee (a moot point, since you get no coffee filters) They have some limited coffee available in the lobby -- I was able to get one small cup of coffee on Saturday morning, but the coffee was all gone Sunday morning at 8:15 am. If you want creature comforts, bring them yourself.
