此行唯一一家青年旅社，但條件也還不錯，我們訂的是有獨立衞浴的房間，是三室中的一間，大家共用廚房和客廳區域。房客們都很安靜，聽不到聲音。小廚房廚具很齊全了，據説酒店還有更大的廚房。

挺好的，小屋有獨立的衞生間，應該是四個房間，共用一個客廳，客廳有廚房，然後青旅是在另一個屋子裡，那種床位房也有一個大的廚房，這種小房間性價比挺高的，這個福克斯小鎮不大，吃飯了就那麼兩三家，然後住在這裏，所以呢，走到那個螢火蟲也就五六分鐘，晚上都可以去看一看，走進去幾分鐘就能看到

優點： 離晚上看螢火蟲的步道很近，步行500米就能到。開車到馬瑟森湖和福克斯冰川觀景點也很近，單程10分鐘。 缺點： 房間小，簡陋； 前台20:30就沒人，晚上入住找房間費時； 停車位緊張，晚上壓根停不到，衹能停外面的路邊上。

酒店位置好，停車方便，周圍環境棒，廚房、餐廳面積大，使用起來非常爽，洗手間設施也挺好，住起來很舒服，是一家值得推薦的好酒店。

很乾凈的青旅，可以在公共廚房做飯，位置在鎮中心的中心，去哪兒都很方便

老闆娘很好，借了單車給我騎。有一衹會聽口令的狗狗，超可愛。

We stayed here as there was no room in the Fox Glacier Lodge where our friends were staying. This lodging was fairly basic, with three small rooms sharing a common area with a kitchen. It was clean and functional, and they were very accommodating after we had to check out early.

This wasn't not too bad until we found that one of the beds was full of hairs. Can only assume that the linen wasn't changed between guests. Maybe we were just unlucky, maybe it was only one bed out of our 4 beds but it made us feel pretty revolted. Don't find it till 11 pm otherwise would have complained.

This backpackers/hostel is absolutely adorable and I can’t recommend it highly enough: To start, all of the people that passed through here in our time were simply lovely- a great mix of couples, solo travellers and families from around the world. It was quiet despite all the people being around and also very friendly. The kitchen is fabulous and big and inviting as are the common areas and lounges. There is a hot tub and a sauna- I’ll just say that again- a HOT TUB and a SAUNA to come home to every night after hiking, helicopter adventuring or whatever your day has entailed in this area/ and the price was right (we had a twin room sharing the shower and toilet facilities which were all clean). It’s also a two second walk to the Main Street of town with all the amenities, businesses and restaurants. The mountain view backdrop is also lovely. Cannot recommend highly enough! Also unrelated to here- but the local convenience store sells homemade breakfast burgers for a fraction of the price of the cafe made by one of the employees and they are simply fab!

AWESOME - AMAZING - WOW - the new standard setters for Kiwi/New Zealand Backpackers with this warm, well-equipped, clean and funky backpackers in the centre of Fox Glacier. We have stayed a total of 14 places during our travels and this one TOPS them all!!! Thank you Team at Ivory Towers - Fox Glacier - you do us kiwis proud! Amazing facilities, over and above customer service and our all-time favourite for our recent road trip around the South Island. This place is EXTRAordinary and I encourage all of you who experience the hospitality and all things Ivory Towers Backpackers to tell them what an outstanding job they are doing...

I arrived at Fox Glacier just before 4pm and left at 8am the next morning, so I didn’t have a lot of time there. The one thing I wanted to do was go to Lake Matheson to see the reflections of Mt Cook and Mt Tasman in the water at sunset. Only problem was, I didn’t have a car or any way of getting there on my own. When I mentioned this to the hostel owner (I think?) upon check in, he said offered one of his bikes for me to take, and I managed to make it there in time for a beautiful sunset! This ended up being an absolute highlight and I couldn’t have done it without the generosity of the hostel owner. Despite the short time I had in Fox Glacier, he really helped make it unforgettable! The place itself was lovely. Kitchen was spacious, my room was cosy and warm, and the shower was excellent. If I could, I’d go back to Fox Glacier just to stay at Ivory Towers again!
