Hampton Inn Van Buren

This is by far the best Hampton I have stayed at, and over the years, I have stayed at many. The hotel was spotless and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great, too. The lady serving the breakfast was very nice and went above and beyond the call of duty as all the other staff members did.

love the hotel, nice & friendly staff. They help with all questions i had. The staff great. The hotel nice.The rooms are cute. Love that my room has a microwave and a little refigerator. Pool is great. The water is a lil cold. The pool room gets a lil hot.

We stayed here for one night in Dec. 2023; this hotel was generally very nice, with a convenient and quiet setting. This Hampton Inn has the new style, and our room was clean and comfortable. The freshly baked cookies upon check-in were a nice treat (they made up for the fact that we were given a different room from the one I had pre-selected). Just a few negatives here: the wall-mounted toiletries were installed too high and in a corner of the tub so were a bit hard to reach; also the tub was one of those rounded-bottom ones that I find painful to stand in during showering. The breakfast here was acceptable, with the usual Hampton Inn options. The female breakfast attendant was very friendly, but she did not keep on top of the buffet.

I highly recommend the Hampton Inn as a must-stop during your I-40 road trip. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the hotel is updated and very clean, the beds are comfortable, and it's pleasantly quiet. Additionally, it's conveniently located near many restaurants. The breakfast in the morning offers a perfect selection of options. We are planning to pass by again in July, and I've already reserved this hotel as one of our stops.

Welcoming! Clean. Comfortable. Customer service was amazing! Breakfast was hot, fresh and refilled often. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic! This is a must stay location right off the Interstate.

It’s all cool until at 2am someone one opens the door to your room and scares the hell out of you! I called the Desk clerk who was apologetic but said I was not checked in so he had assigned someone to the room! Not his fault per-say but I’m a single woman that is NOT COOL!

It was hard to find the hotel after exiting the highway because the neon sign was broken. If you look to your right you'll see a Best Western that you drive past to get to the Hampton. The desk staff were all young people dressed like they were hanging out on a college campus (i.e. extreme casual). I guess some hotels have moved away from uniforms or dress codes. :) That's fine - just not obvious who works there and who's a guest. We had a 2-queen room with a sofa. The new room design has a sliding door for the closet and bathroom. The flaw is that it can't be latched and there's a 2" gap between the door and the wall. So you don't get complete privacy in the bathroom. There was plenty of room on the sink to store toiletries and there were pump bottles in the shower. Beds were comfortable and the fridge and coffeemaker were handy. The clock was way off and we couldn't figure out how to set the time. So we turned it around to face the wall. The desk and chair were in the front opposite the closet while most hotel rooms put the desk toward the back so as not to obstruct the narrow passage to the exit. In other words, if you're sitting in the desk chair, people can't walk behind you easily. The fitness room lacked a treadmill (may be a first?!?) but there was a good-size indoor pool. Breakfast was typical - nothing special except the cold cereals included Corn Chex (never saw that before at a hotel!).

Conveniently located off I 40, close to many food options. Great beds, clean, with extremely friendly staff. Normal Hampton breakfast. Set a little off the road so it was very quiet. Plenty of parking places. We walked to dinner and felt safe.

Honestly, I was so skeptical on how it would be in Van Buren, Arkansas. I live in Southern California and was visiting my ill father. The hotel staff was really kind and at one point my father wondered out of the room while we were getting food. He has mild dementia. The staff kept him at the desk while they contacted us. So amazing. However, the highlight was Arrayh W., she was so kind, funny, and went above and beyond in our time there (3 days). She went out of her way to get us whatever we needed. She prepared the breakfast bar and it was amazing. It actually was better than the restaurants, in our opinion. Arrayh W. Is an asset to the this location and was a pure joy to deal with.You have renewed my faith in humanity once again.
