We enjoyed our time in the semi rustic cabin. It was comfortable and views were awesome of the ocean. Sadly no beach access right at the lodge, however acces is available at the campground at short walk or drive up the road.The mercantile was excellent, and the food at the restaurant was tasty.

Everything was great about this property. Only thing that was broken was the stairs down to the beach, which was recently damaged by the King Tide, which i get is out of their control.

Nice place. It took a bit time for the room in January to warm up. Coffee machine didnt work, but we got coffee from Kalaloch merchantile nearby.

Our stay was a disaster. we checked in at 2:30. We were told our room wasn't ready, but that they would start on it immediately. I was took the wait would be half an hour. I came back a half hour later and the shift had changed. The previous shift had blown us off completely, and I was told that there were two check-ins ahead of me. No apology. We didn't get into our room until 4. We have been there many time over the last 40 years and things are always a little sketchy, but I'm never going back there again.
Kalaloch lodge is in the national park and run by the park service. Lots of rules, no effort to accommodate. They act like they're doing you a favor by letting you stay there.

Lovely, lovely time. The winter ocean scape was incredible. Beaches open and easy to enjoy. Everything in our cabin was clean and bright and well-appointed. You could tell that a lot of thoughts went into making the cabins cozy. We had everything we needed for a great stay!

Enjoyed the privacy of individual cabins. Also the variety available to fit the size of your party. This area is desolate which is part of its allure. No Wi-Fi or internet.

Our cabin had an unbelievable view of the ocean and haystacks. We could be in our bed and enjoy the view. The weather was incredible with clear bright blue skies. The property is well cared for. However, several of the cabins can be rented as they have been deemed unsafe due to the proximity of the cliff. Go soon before erosion destroys a pristine view and property.
