Travelodge Colchester Feering

The staff were lovely friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and peaceful and I had everything I needed it was nice to have a few places next to the front to eat ..the manager was really nice my only bad point is that if you don't drive be prepared for the taxi drivers to completely rip you off I had to phone about 10 cab companies to eventually get a cab to the station 2 mins cost me £22 but that is not the hotels fault

We weren’t expecting much as we have stayed in other travelodges previously- however the team here made our stay in Colchester very comfortable and convenient. We were here for a wedding and Cara and the team were very hospitable, made sure we all had everything we needed and the main thing was they all served with a smile. Would definitely visit again! Thank you!

Very clean hotel, spacious rooms and baths which is always a bonus after a day's work. Super friendly welcoming staff which makes a big difference when your working away from home for the week. Will stay again next time I'm working in the area. Thanks for being good hosts!

We stayed there for just one night (after a family wedding at Layer Marney Tower). Everything was exactly as expected. Great value for money. The lady on the reception desk (Jane) was really helpful - the perfect host. Would definitely stay there again

We have had a fantastic stay at the Colchester Feering Travelodge! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of, thanks to Jane at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing—friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. Her warm greeting set the tone for a wonderful stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we expected for a relaxing stay. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to Colchester and surrounding areas. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. A big thank you to Jane for going above and beyond to make our experience special. We’ll definitely be back!

Really friendly staff especially Jane and Jane! Surprisingly quiet room, number 11, considering the location. 10% off if you buy from Burger King although, for some reason, I got 15% off my meal! I'd happily use again in the future if I'm in the area.
