Hotel is so beautiful that one would like to spend more time in it. Clean and excellent location. Also the service was very good.

Very charming, modern, clean hotel in Anjou, lovely room. Staff were very polite and friendly. The location is perfect; a short pleasant stroll to the centre. Would stay there again.

We stayed for a night and had a great experience. Friendly staff, nicely styled hotel interior. Only breakfast could have been a bit better!!

The hotel seems to have been refurbished recently. The rooms are contemporary and the hotel itself retains old features. The breakfast room and bar area is stunning in what used to be a cinema. The old features, mosaics etc have been well kept. Didn’t use the spa facility so can’t comment on it although I believe there’s a cost. There are loads of stairs and the old lift is tiny so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The staff are helpful and friendly (a nice touch that they took our luggage to our room while we parked) but I can’t recommend this hotel to anyone who suffers in heat as the aircon is simply not adequate. Essentially, it’s a fan that blows the hot air around the room. We reported it and the team helpfully offered us another room however, the situation there was the same. Lucky for us the weather cooled down after our first night. The first night I actually had to sleep on the floor as it was so hot. There was no offer of compensation from the hotel. The location is excellent and parking is available at a cost. We were charged a nightly rate for our pet - this was the only hotel during our trip that added this extra cost. Disappointed with that too. The breakfast is decent. Great choice but get down early as items that are popular aren’t always replenished. Could be a great hotel with attention to the air conditioning situation and the hidden extras.

Lovely hotel, good location opposite plenty of bars and restaurants, a short walk around the city in the blue route started close by. Our room overlooked the park. They hotel has kept a lot of its old features, especially the quirky lift. It has quite a lot of stained glass. The staff were all very helpful, water was provided. When checking in there was a basket full of fresh pastries which was a lovely gesture of you had been traveling a long time. Room was clean but quite small especially the bathroom. We had a drink in the bar which was the usual overpriced hotel prices, the red wine was one of the the worst wines I've ever had with lots of sediment in the glass, i ended up leaving it. The city is a beautiful city and we enjoyed it very much would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel with beautiful room. Very good breakfast proposal and personel is dedicated. I recommand Hotel.

Very helpful and accommodating staff managed to fit us in when previous arrangements had fallen through. We enjoyed our stay and got to know the lovely town of Angers.

Had a 2 night stay at the start of our touring holiday. Having unpacked after a long drive we noticed a significant issue with the room but the reception staff (William) could not have been more helpful. Although he was unable to offer another room until the next night, he dealt with the issue as best he could and offered free parking and complimentary cocktails. We would definitely recommend the restaurant- beautiful art deco surroundings and we definitely enjoyed more than one cocktail on the first and second nights! The food was delicious. The room provided the following day was lovely and as you would expect. The location of the hotel was perfect, the reception staff provided a wealth of information about the area. We had dinner on the second night at Creperie des Angles - just a short walk from the hotel - would also recommend.
