The hotel is very nice. Our room had a spa bathtub which we really enjoyed. The bed was quite comfortable. We especially enjoyed our view of the Pacific Ocean at sunset. We had a daily visit from a seagull looking for food each morning. Be sure to visit the bakery at the corner and Reads Candy Shop.

Das Frühstück kann auch Tee essen. Das ist nicht sehr reichhaltig.

Wir blieben in einer Einzimmersuite mit Blick, und es war wunderbar. Vollküche, Tisch und zwei Stühle, Gasfeuerplatz, komfortable Bett, und wunderbare Aussicht auf den Fluss und die Bay. Es gab viele andere Gäste, die mit Hunden reisen (wie wir waren), und es lebt sicher bis zu seinem dog-friendly Rating. Eingang zum Strand ist direkt über die Straße, und Mo's Restaurant ist sehr nah. Alle Mitarbeiter waren hilfreich und freundlich, aber wir wollen Melissa besondere Kudos hinterlassen, die unglaublich geduldig und nett mit uns war, als wir angemeldet waren. My wife and I booked an impromptu trip to the Oregon coast for our 35th wedding anniversary. After looking at many different options, including vrbo, condos, and motels. She landed on surftides Hotel. It is a beach side 4 story hotel with ocean view options. The beach access is right at the bottom of the stairs. The view is what you would expect, with the sounds of the ocean. The rooms are nice and clean. They are equipped with a mini fridge and microwave and keurig coffee maker. The deck is fairly large. There is an enclosed pool, hot tub, and sauna in the parking lot. It is very well kept. Open from 9am to 11pm. There is also a restaurant across the parking lot. (They are both very close). The restaurant is nice, with a bar. There is a happy hour from 3pm to 6pm. The down sides are the shower head is very high unless you're Shaquille O'Neal. The water pressure is lacking as well. Maybe because it takes so long for the water to hit your body . You have an old-school key for your room. . The floors are thin if you have someone above you. Overall, it has been a good stay. We would consider booking it again if we come back.

First things first, there’s an unexpected “resort fee” that’s added to the bill. This gets you things like the 24 hour access to the workout center and towels that are out in the lobby. You can also go outside and smoke around the fire pit. We came up to our room and found a piece of artwork that’s on the ground. We called to let them know. Apparently this is not the first time as they told us to just leave it on the floor. The room has a small fridge, a microwave, and a cabinet that serves the TV stand, but nothing with drawers to actually put clothes in. If you’re not careful will over on you. The beds are either one or two things… They are either the cheapest mattresses known to mankind or they’re 25 years old. They don’t look super old so I’m thinking they were the cheapest thing the hotel could find. You crawl into bed and you and sink down 6 inches. Zero support. Just like the pillows That were flatter than pancakes and if you put three of them together and bunch them up, you might get some neck support. There is a little two person sofa, which is nice, and a bench that you can put your suitcases on. One really nice feature that I do like is the air conditioner, which allows you to have the continuous fan on even when it’s not in cooling mode. It’s nice to keep the air circulating and have the constant white noise that’s helpful for me to sleep. They do give you free cookies on check-in, but I would’ve preferred to have a couple bottles of water instead of paying for them in there little store. I don’t think I have ever paid a resort fee without getting at least two bottles of water in the room. Breakfast is as you would expect, although they don’t have bagels. They do have cream cheese, so I don’t know what we’re putting it on, but they don’t have bagels. That said this is one of the cheaper hotel rates in the area. And it’s in an otherwise good location. Super convenient to a Starbucks next-door. But just know what you’re getting from a sleep position for the price. And if you’re here over the weekend, which the check-in host emphasize to us, even though we are leaving on a Thursday, is they do offer a shuttle to the ******. So I guess that’s cool if you’re into that.
