Tesoro Blu Hotel & Spa Adults Only

We have just returned from a week staying here and it was one of the best holidays we've had ❤️, however this is not fully down to the hotel. We flew with tui and had a bit of a rough start to our holiday due to technical issues, delaying our landing into Kefalonia, meaning we had to divert into Zante whilst we refulled, and waited for another space to land into Kefalonia  (approx. 3 hour delay!) After finally arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with a sign saying back in a few minute, but a member of staff soon appeared and checked us in. We were then seated in the reception area and told the housekeeping rules, which we felt was a bit like being in a classroom, and could have been told on paper to read or with the welcome pack we got given, especially we had just arrived and had a delay, so just wanted to get to our room and start pur holiday! We got escorted by buggy to our room with our luggage which was a nice touch, however I have to agree with some of the reviews on here about the lack of character with the staff, and the hotel itself. We stayed bed and breakfast board and felt we have had a better standard of food at lower class hotels, the selection was quite small and samey too. There was the mini fridge in the room with a bottle of water in there. However, this was the only bottle provided for the whole week! There were no water fountains about either. Maybe we may have missed something? We felt this was quite tight, given the star hotel and heat that is experienced, especially in this time of year. You'd expect more? On the last day of our stay, we went to the spa and had a lovely massage, I feel we had the best service overall from this lady (sorry I didn't get her name). We got a hire car via tui and ventured out most days, however should you decide to stay by the pool, the prices of the drinks and food seem quite steep compared to the local restaurants and bars in Skala. The walk to Skala is around 20 minutes and a lovely walk after a meal, lots of gift shops, restaurants and bars to eat/drink at. The places that we would recommend are Paspalis, Venue (for a good coffee), Flammingo's, Kaliva, Bakery (great for a quick bite at lunch and ran by a British lady) Old Times (a bit pricier but lovely ambience and a short distance from the hotel), however do be weary of some fury friends dining with you at some places! If you're looking to exchange money whilst you're there, you will struggle, as we found, the nearest place would be Argostoli, which is a good hour away. All in all, all fabulous holiday! Would we stay at Tesoro again, with a few minor tweaks, possibly!

An excellent quality hotel with staff who did their utmost to help us at every opportunity. Very clean and tidy and well looked after. Beautiful surroundings and well cared for gardens. Good swimming pool and excellent restaurant with a good choice and large portions! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay and would highly recommend.

This is a fantastic hotel. It is stylish and well designed. The staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. It is just outside Skala but you can walk into the centre in 20 mins. We loved watching the yachts sailing by whilst lounging around the infinity pool. The food is excellent but the A la carte menu could get a bit repetitive if you stay for longer than a week. It would be good if you could swap an evening meal for lunch. I would definitely recommend this hotel

Have travelled for decades all over the world but this rates as one of the best. Such lovely clean comfortable rooms. Stunning pool and restaurant. The staff make this place they are all so pleasant and friendly. 2 members of staff really stand out a guy we loving called the omelettes man (Dennis )as he would serve ordered omelettes to your table he apparently called us the happy people he was so pleasant and great sense of humour. The other is waitress called Erisa she had a smile that light up the place and simply melted your heart. Can't wait to go back many thanks Robert and Jane Room 128 and Keith and Louise Room 127. Stayed from Sunday 2nd to Sunday 9th July 2023.

We had a lovely stay at Tesoroblu. The hotel feels like it’s quite modern, we had a basic room at the very back of the resort, room 520, which was a fair walk to breakfast or to the pool, but pleasant enough. The room was cleaned daily, shower was good, bed and pillows very comfy, and we had a nice balcony where we could see the sea. The pool, and pool area was kept very tidy and clean. Always plenty of sun ears available. And there is a separate small shallower pool with jacuzzi. There was a lifeguard on duty all day every day. The bar service was excellent and reasonably priced. There was entertainment on 6 of the 7 nights we were there, only Sunday night had no singer on. Breakfast was a decent buffet spread, with options for cooked breakfast and omelettes, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal and options for juice and coffee. Though we did feel maybe they could mix up the fresh fruit a little more. Still good though. Check in was quick and easy, likewise checkout. We hired a car for our holiday, and there was always plenty of spaces to park it safely. The hotel is about a 20-25min walk into Skala town centre. But there are some restaurants/bars along the way. We got a good deal on our booking, and we really enjoyed our stay, and would happily stay at the Tesoroblu again. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. There were showers near the pool, so we could have a wash before leaving for the airport on our last day. Overal, just exactly what we needed from our holiday.

Just returned last night from 11 days at this hotel room 225 what a great time my wife and I had there and made brilliant friends. First of all Stavros the pool and towel attendant what a wonderful bloke I’ve made a friend for life then there is the waiting on staff Kosta,Sunday,Foti,Yuli,Marcello,Adonis the barman Denis the omelette man and more all fantastic then the reception staff Anna,Sofia and Joseph the night porter always smiling and happy to give you a lift back to your room the cleaners and maintenance guys and more all are brilliant we are returning next year and hopefully meeting the friends and other guests we laughed and danced with I can’t thank everyone enough for making this holiday unforgettable loved it.
