"We are on day 9 of 11 staying in the Magnolia Hotel Katelios.Wow we picked a great place.Firstly its beautiful to look at, all the rooms have balconys which look out at the mountains,just beautiful.The pool area has plenty of beds,all with umbrellas and never a fight to get one.Bar staff and all the staff in general are happy,polite and very friendly! The rooms are perfect for 2,plenty of cupboards,drawers for clothes,big enough fridge,comfy bed and free A/C.Cleaners work really hard all around the resort.I saw people say breakfast was a let down,it absolutely isnt! Plenty of things on offer,from fruit,greek yogurt,toast,bacon sausage and eggs every day,kept us full until the evening.Its an adults only resort so just perfect for us.The bar is open 11 am til 12pm,with a nice selection of snacks for lunch.A 15 minute stroll to the beach front where all the lovely tavernas are situated.First time in Katelios and will definitely be back! The Magnolia hotel is absolutely fab and we would 100% recommend"

"Wonderful apartments in an excellent location just off the main area and the little harbour, only a very short stroll to the beach where the majority of the tavernas and barsvare. We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't fault a thing We stayed in a studio which had a small kitchen area with a hob/grill, kettle and coffee machine and a fridge with a small freezer compartment at the top. There was plenty of crockery and cutlery provided along with a sink We had 2 balconies, which all the rooms have, one is a private one looking onto the countryside and the other is at the front of the room where other guests come and go to their rooms There was a safe provided in the room, one big wardrobe with plenty of hangers and lots of storage space. The bathroom was typically greek with a shower curtain and the shower spray is fixed on the wall or you can just hold it, whatever your preference All the staff were amazing, everyone so friendly and helpful, special mention for the lady who maintained the room, she was so lovely and very thorough, she came in every day to empty bins, towels and bedding changed every few days, room was spotlessly clean We will definitely stay here again, it really was brilliant in every way"

"Beautiful location close to Skala and Mounda beaches. Very quiet which was what we were looking for. SPOTLESSLY clean everywhere and a beautiful pool. Rooms were spacious and kitchenette well equipped with kettle and dual hobs. Only slight downfall was poor wi-fi signal."

Filoxenia Hotel & Apartments

"First time we have stayed in a Superior Studio so didn't know what to expect. On the plus side rooms are very clean. Location is great. Mini market and restaurants within 10-15 min walk. On the down side. No shower gel or shampoo etc. Kettle yes but no T bags coffee milk or sugar. Hot plate provided to cook on but no cooking implements utensils etc. Our fault for not checking beforehand I suppose! On the whole a very nice stay but watch out for 33 eu hotel tax, 33 eu for safe and 33 eu for Aircon. That's what we were greeted with before we got to the room which was on first floor so bags to carry up!"
