"This is a gret hotel! The rooms have AC, which is must. Our room had a little kitchen too. Beds are comfortable. You get a safe with a key in your room. The maid refreshes towles etc each day. They provide pool towels. The hotel is clean in all areas. It is 3min walk to the super crystal clear waters of Skala beach, a 2 min walk to the first restaurant and a 9min walk in to central Skala.The staff are so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is varied but always hits the spot. Theo, the pool barman is a legend and looks after you. The Pool bar offers snacks from a cheese tostie for 4 euros upto chicken Gyros for 12.5 euros. All the ususal drinks available from Mythos beer on tap to proper coffee depending on your mood. We went away for a week to just chill out and the hotel made sure that happened. When I go back to Kefalonia I will 100% staye here."

"I can't describe in words how charming this place is. It gets under your skin and makes you wish you could stay forever. It is like a little community. most guests have been many times and know one another. I myself have made friends here and look forward to seeing them next year! Despina and her family are delightful people. They make you feel so special and so welcome. The Cats ....well they are the star of the show. Don't book here if you don't enjoy the company of cats ! Great fresh cooked food at the lovely homely bar area , very good prices too. Rooms are great, everything you may need . Efrosini books up FAST , if you manage to get a spot, you've hit the jackpot. It's heaven. Peace and quiet, no shortage of sunbeds, great company, lots of cats , wild horses who visit, hedgehogs snuffling around at night. Beautiful orchard heavy with fruit. You won't regret visiting."

"Dieses Hotel liegt in sehr schönen Gärten und der Koch und der Manager sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider hat es während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts geregnet und wir sind sogar früher abgereist, was natürlich nicht ihre Schuld war! Ich würde auch sagen, dass die Zimmer ziemlich einfach und nicht super gemütlich sind. Der Pool und der Poolbereich sehen etwas abgenutzt aus und haben einen grünen Ring um die Innenseite, der nicht besonders schön anzusehen oder einladend ist. Und es wird ein Whirlpool in den Gärten erwähnt, obwohl dieser tatsächlich an den Pool angeschlossen ist und ein kalter Whirlpool ist. Die Begrüßung mit kaltem, köstlichem Weißwein und hausgemachtem Käse war herrlich. Das Essen war insgesamt sehr einfach und mit tollen Zutaten zubereitet, aber erwarten Sie nicht zu viel. Ich hatte etwas höhere Erwartungen, die nicht erfüllt wurden. Insgesamt bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob ich wieder hier übernachten würde – wenn dieses Hotel in der Nähe von Fiskardo wäre, würde ich es tun, aber wir fanden die Strände in der Gegend bei weitem nicht so schön wie im Norden."

"Unglaubliche Unterkunft auf Kefalonia! Das kleine Hotel, das nur 5 Zimmer hat und sich somit immer total privat anfühlt, liegt nahe (5 Gehminuten) dem Dorf Katelios. Zu Fuß zu erreichen sind diverse Restaurants, Bars, Minimarkets und sogar ein (Sand) Strand. Mit dem Auto erreicht man alles in maximal 1,5h. Die Lage ist also perfekt! Der Pool und die gesamte Anlage ist wie neu, sehr gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Wir hatten ein zweistöckiges Zimmer mit schönem Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer und den Pool. Das Zimmer war mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bot ein sehr bequemes Bett. Wir haben jeden Tag sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück wurde jeden Tag frisch zubereitet und war immer sehr sehr lecker! Die Gastgeberin Maria ist so eine herzliche Person und man fühlt sich sehr wohl bei ihr. Danke Maria!!"

"I had booked a stay at La Skala Vista, but to my shock, I received an email stating that due to a "system failure," my reservation had never gone through, and both of my bookings were canceled. The worst part? This has been booked for 2 months. leaving me with no alternatives for my planned dates with our flights already booked. Their response was nothing but an apology and a suggestion to change my travel dates, but unfortunately, they had no availability for the period I originally planned. This lack of accountability and professionalism is unacceptable. A proper hotel should ensure that its reservation system functions correctly and, in case of an error, offer real solutions rather than just an apology. We are now left as a group of 6 with no hotel and are unable to find availability in Skala. The likelihood being the holiday will have to be cancelled and we will loose the price of the flights. I am extremely disappointed with the way this was handled. If you are considering booking here, be aware that your reservation might not be honored due to "system failures." I will certainly think twice before booking with them again. Would NOT recommend."
