Blue Jasmine Hotel

Wir waren auf Empfehlung hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Tolle Lage, wunderbares Personal und unsere Unterkunft war erstklassig. Wir wohnten im Skala Dawn im Erdgeschoss mit Blick auf den Pool. Es war makellos sauber, komfortabel und verfügt über einen riesigen Balkon. Der Pool ist ausgezeichnet, es gibt jede Menge Sonnenliegen und einen tollen Blick über das Meer. Das Hotel liegt gut 2,5 km vom Zentrum von Skala entfernt, aber es ist ein einfacher Spaziergang, der an verschiedenen Tavernen und Stränden vorbeiführt. Empfehlen Sie Nautilus Beach, der steile Abstieg lohnt sich! Eine Taxifahrt nach Skala oder zurück zum Hotel kostet 7 € pro Strecke.

Was für ein fantastischer Aufenthalt wir im Blue Jasmine hatten. Von dem Moment an, als wir bei der bezaubernden Sabrina eincheckten, wussten wir, dass wir einen Gewinner gefunden hatten. Dies ist das erste Mal, dass wir irgendwo übernachtet haben und es ist genau so, wie es auf den Bildern erscheint. Wir hatten das große Glück, drei Wochen auf Kefalonia zu verbringen, daher war die Wahl unseres Hotels äußerst wichtig. Wir waren in der Myrtos-Suite mit zwei Schlafzimmern untergebracht, die absolut fantastisch war. Das Personal im Hotel konnte gar nicht genug für uns tun. Sabrina war einfach SO nett und hilfsbereit. Immer lächelnd – immer hilfsbereit. Dank Yannis und Dimitris stand jeden Morgen unser Kaffee auf dem Tisch bereit, während wir uns beim Frühstück bedienten. Leider haben wir nicht die Namen aller Mitarbeiter erfahren. Aber der Tageskoch, der Mann, der nachmittags/abends an der Bar Schicht hatte, der Hausmeister, das Reinigungspersonal – ALLE waren brillant und so freundlich! Sogar der dort ansässige Hündchen – so süß! Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb der Stadt - das wussten wir bereits bei der Buchung. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend – wenn Sie in der Stadt wären, würden Sie nicht das Gleiche erleben. Taxis waren relativ leicht zu bekommen, wenn man sie im Voraus buchte. Wir sind seit zwei Wochen zu Hause und sind wieder im Arbeitsmodus. Wir vermissen diesen Ort so sehr! A hotel set on a cliff top on the outskirts of Skarla. So friendly a quiet hotel is an escape from it all place to be. Only twelve rooms so it’s never loud or over crowded. A very nice welcome and all staff are so friendly. Bar open all day food of a good standard although a bit slow but not to grumble. I must mention the cleaning lady who does the best job I’ve ever seen, room immaculate everyday she visits I hope they pay her well! Breakfast is a good standard you order your hot food and coffee from barman and help yourself to the usual breakfast bits in back room. Gardens around blue Jasmin make the place look so picturesque great job. It was so hot when we visited we had to get a taxi to town everyday €7. Lots of little coves to swim nearby checkout the Porto Skarla for the sunrise pic amazing!!! All in all highly recommended if your happy to stay in outskirts for a chilled out holiday unless you need internet for work it’s dreadful also phone signal is poor so barman will book your taxi to town. Beautiful hotel just out of town on the headland so sea views on two sides. Small and quiet but a short walk to two nearby restaurants or an easy short drive into town. Staff delightful. Pool very clean and lovely. Rooms cool and lovely towels / dressing gowns etc. Sunbeds plentiful and comfy. Peaceful.

We had an absolutely fantastic week at the Blue Jasmine in Skala. The views from the apartments are absolutely stunning, and the whole pool area is beautifully kept with wonderfully comfortable sunbeds and a pool bar open all day. The apartments themselves are exactly as they are pictured online, we had the two bedroom Myrtos suite, which was definitely worth the couple of extra hundred euros for the space, it was really luxurious having so much space to relax and such amazing facilities including the air con, which we needed during the intense heat! We had a beautiful suite with two bedrooms, dining area, kitchen and lounge area and a huge balcony to extend it across the top of the restaurant underneath with perfect views across the sea and the pool and Gardens. The grounds and apartments are kept immaculately and the cleaning is stealth like! I’ve never stayed anywhere like it, we joked that the cleaner waited in the bushes for us to go to breakfast as it was always already clean on our return! Standards were very high and we were made to feel really comfortable. They also provide you with towels for the beach and pool as well as the apartment. The staff at these apartments were absolutely superb, from Sabrina who will check you in and answer all your queries and support you with any questions that you have, including helping you book transfers, car hire, trips. She was absolutely brilliant. The bar staff and the restaurant team were also fantastic, and we were wowed to have breakfast included, which we hadn’t realised when booked. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic for such a small block of apartments, and to have an à la carte menu to accompany it as well as teas, coffees, juices, et cetera. It was the cherry on the cake. My husband enjoyed scrambled eggs every morning whilst my son and I enjoyed the pancakes. The hotel sits on the top of the hill on the outskirts of Skala, so it’s a lovely walk down to the beach into the bars and restaurants and a taxi ride back. We hired a car, which we would definitely recommend to visit the beaches nearby and a fantastic beach bars for lunch and dinner. The apartments suit families and couples, although given there were only 12, and most one bedrooms, there were more couples than families, and certainly very few children, my sons age (11). I would best recommend these apartments to someone looking for a quiet break with absolutely majestic views. Somewhere to relax in the sunshine, enjoy a good book, a dip in the beautiful pool, and a fabulous lunch at the restaurant, for that is perfect. Oh and Wi-Fi was perfect and worked everywhere really well!

We stayed in the Atros Mist suite for a week, and the only word for this hotel is wonderful. The gardens and pool area are beautifully kept by Christos. There are 28 sun loungers that are beautifully comfortable, and there was never any trouble getting a bed as we were often the only people by the pool. The views over the cliff are spectacular and all but one room have a direct pool view. Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked to order by Dimi. Yannis and Stravrina were always there during the day to help with anything you could think of, and Panos took over each afternoon and again could not be faulted as he was so friendly. The rooms were cleaned every day by Antonia and Anna, and pool and bathroom towells changed almost daily. The hotel is about a 25 min walk from Skala village which is worth the walk. There are two lovely restaurants, Old Times and Nautilus, less than 10 mins walk away, and both were great value and the food was superb. We would love to come back again, which says everything about our visit. Simply beautiful.

Stayed here for a week as part of our 2 centre holiday on the island and what an absolute gem this place is. The suites offers fantastic views of the pool and Ionian Sea, the gardens are well maintained all perched on the side of a cliff all very idyllic. We had the Antisamos suite which was very comfortable with great views. Big pool area is lovely with proper comfy Sun loungers and poolside bar. Skala itself is a good 30 min walk or 5 min taxi ride (8 euros) where there’s a big long beach, loads of restaurants and tavernas. There are 2 great restaurants a 5 min walk from the hotel which we visited a few times, The Nautilus and Old Times, both we recommend. The lovely Stavrina and her staff there are wonderful, friendly and helpful. A good breakfast each morning, Free Wi-Fi and car parking and I must mention their resident little canine friend called Moozie, she got a weeks load of fuss from me. Will definitely be returning to the Blue Jasmine in the future

A lovely, quiet and small boutique hotel with delightful staff. A decent breakfast (as long as you eat eggs). The young staff were friendly and all spoke good English. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Skala.
