Great location as not too far from Edinburgh Waverley Station and a couple of minutes off the Royal Mile. Lots of pubs and eating places nearby. Staff very welcoming and always available. We were about half an hour early for check-in time, but our room was available for us. Sweet double room was large enough for 2 people. Hanging space for clothing with hangers included. Large desk/table with fully stocked tea/coffee station. Clean room and bedding, plus extra pillows were available. Bed was comfy, think they use mattress toppers. We stayed for 3 nights in January and the room was warm enough with the use of the heater/cooler system. Our room overlooked Hunters Square, so quite a nice view of what was going on. Small bathroom, but shower cubicle was big enough and shower easy to use. Large mirror with lighting around it in bathroom and long mirror on the wall in the room. Hairdryer in room also. Free WiFi was always available. Large flat screen TV was in working order. We had no issues with noise from other rooms or from the street outside, even though we occasionally had the window open. Key cards worked with no problems. You also have the option to "Skip the daily clean", which we did, but changed the towels. Corridors always smelled clean and fresh. We didn't opt in for the breakfast and didn't eat or drink in the hotel, as we ate out alot. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great Stay!

Location is absolutely good and convenient. It’s perfect and close to attractions like Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile. It’s just within 10 minutes to New Town where we can have many restaurants for dining.

Everything was perfect specially reception people all are friendly and I appreciate them they are so much helpful friendly and always smiling

The location is perfect. The hotel is right at the Royal Mile. We could walk to the Edinburgh castle. It’s close to everything. The train is in a walking distance. The breakfast is basic but very local and enjoyed much. I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Ibis on the Royal mile. Our room was modern, adequate in size. The temperature was just right and the bed comfortable. The location was excellent. We stayed at the back of the hotel and wasn’t bothered by a lot of noise. I would definitely recommend and will go back one day. An excellent choice and great value.

Ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile - Hunter Square is indeed a real surprise. It exceeds the boring standard of Ibis. We decided to stay at this hotel due to its location. As Diamond member, the hotel upgraded my room and provided all necessary welcome package. Thumbs up 👍! I didn’t expect this from Ibis. The breakfast was extremely rich and good. Another thumbs up! Some deficits to point out: (1) We found bugs in our room, the next day housekeeping did excellent cleaning, (2) The window was a massive issue, it couldn’t be opened widely (until ＜ 1cm). Probably Ibis management can pay better attention in future. Last but not least, front desks and other staffs were very friendly. ☺️

Perfect location in the old town. Within walking distance of all the attractions we planned to see.

Only the street very noisy after midnight. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

環境：就在皇家一英里與南橋的交界處，去哪裡都方便，離鬧市近卻聽不見噪音，但樓道里的噪聲有時大。附近有超市 服務：早餐供應跟不上，碰上團隊就餐就可能很長時間沒啥可吃 設施：床窄，很多歐洲的酒店都是這個問題。有窗能開還挺好

位置優越，離所有景點都非常近。服務不錯，遇到的每位服務人員都笑意盈盈，很温馨。最大的問題就是整個走廊，特別是房間有一股怪味，非常噁心。住的幾晚每天一直都在通風，仍然一股魚腥味。

房間還算乾淨整潔，設施比較簡單，但位置一流。講點實用的，如何來回機場，從機場出來，先看到的是skylink100 號巴士，坐到終點站就是酒店附近。也可以坐tram到St Andrew Square站。兩車站相距不遠，巴士近一點，票價6.5胖, tram 7.5胖，間隔都是10來分鐘，車程30分鐘左右，建議買來回票。因為是山城，不同的街道之間有很大的落差。下車後，如果行李多，要走王子大道轉north bridge去酒店，平路！如果行李少，走cockburn 街，上坡（無台階），路近。

房間有點小但是很乾凈，臨街有點吵但是位置非常方便去大學和王子街都很方便。出門就是royal mail. 酒店人員都很熱情友好，還可以免費寄存行李
