We have been going to this hotel every year (Except covid) for 8 years and love it. Last year Julie bought it and has added some great touches that improve the experience. The addition of a bar and some really good improvements in the rooms make us determined to continue to come back.

We loved staying at the CocknBull. Wonderful apartment, quiet, very clean and comfortable with everything you would need. The couple who run it were incredibly helpful…. above and beyond. We had a nice relaxing swim in the pool. If we are ever back in Echuca this is where we would stay.

What a location and sparkling clean apartment. Julie & Russel were so helpful, they text us to advise our room was ready and so helpful with where to go for dinner and places to visit. We booked the Henry Charles Suite , an upstairs apartment with a great balcony overlooking the river. We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely refurbished Hotel, we stayed on ground floor. Greeted by new owner Julie who made some rum balls to have with our cuppa. Whilst on main road - no road noise. Good location close to shops and restaurants. Lowly spa bath but maybe difficult for elderly to get in and out

In town for a family event - Julie was warm and welcoming with excellent advice on where to eat. The rooms were stylish with a mix of antiques and contemporary and very comfortable contemporary furniture. Kitchenette had T2 teas and really cute teapot and tea cups. Garden was stunning. Highly recommended!

On a recent road trip, one of our destinations was Echuca, and we chose to stay two nights at the CocknBull Boutique Hotel overlooking the Campaspe River. We had an upstairs one bedroom apartment, which comprised of a separate bedroom, separate bathroom, separate toilet, along with a good size kitchen, dining and lounge area, and a balcony overlooking the river. The living and bedroom areas had air conditioners and there was a second TV in the bedroom. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully furnished. The hosts were welcoming and showed us through the unit and gave us all the information we required. We went downstairs to the bar area which was open on the particular day we arrived, and enjoyed a glass of wine in the outside area overlooking the river with cosy fires burning in the fire pits. The property itself and gardens are presented very well and it is a short walking distance to town. We would certainly revisit if visiting Echuca again.

This location was nothing short of enchanting, providing us with everything we could possibly need and then some. An onsite bar, complete with comfortable outdoor seating and cozy fire pits, was situated alongside the serene Campaspe River, creating an atmosphere of tranquil relaxation. To our delight, delectable rum balls were thoughtfully provided in our suite, adding a sweet touch to our stay. The convenience of the place was further highlighted by its proximity to the town centre, which was just a leisurely stroll away.

Run by great friendly and very accommodating family. Rooms are spotless and unique. Beautiful location. Highly recommend staying here. Close to town. Walking distance to the port. Beautiful little downstairs bar for a view of the river and chat in beautiful Echuca. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Very very happy with our accommodation and holiday.

Julie and her family we're extremely hospitable to all our wants and needs were cattered for no matter what we asked for. You can cook in your room or quite literally walk a few hundred metres and come through the back of the Shamrock which almost seems like it's part of the hotel it's so close. biking and walking tracks start at the hotel. It's very easy to get around and extremely close to the Port. You could literally last minute say I want to go for a paddle steamer ride and your 4 minutes walk away. With a fan and air-conditioner in the bedroom, you will never get hot or cold. The pool overlooking the Campespe is amazing. The worlds, best gin/vodka and tequila distillery within 10 minutes walk @bar-lee. Thank you again, Julie.

A beautifully appointed suite which had the bonus of a cooktop and stove if you wanted to cook. Just around the corner is an array of cafes and restaurants. Air conditioning in both the living and bedroom was perfect to keep cool. On arrival was homemade rum balls which were delicious. The Emmylou suite has a very comfortable bed and lounge with eclectic decor. A great place to stay if you want some peace and quiet.

What a lovely four night break in Echuca. Our accommodation was generous in size and super-comfortable, with a fully functioning kitchen, large living room and balcony overlooking the river. And good wifi! We made use of the swimming pool (had it all to ourselves) and appreciated the attentiveness of the owner. Will return...

What a fabulous place to stay. We loved everything about it. The apartment was beautifully decorated and really clean. Loved the view over the Campaspe and got to sit on the balcony to watch a magnificent sunset. The location is central and brilliant. Close to shops, cafes and the port. Highly recommend and we hope to go back again shortly.

This accommodation was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was clean and it was situated close to the historic Echuca dock. We stayed two nights and only used the car once. We definitely recoment this place highly.

Excellent location just minutes from the historic Port of Echuca precinct. We stayed in the Emmylou suite on the ground floor. Clean, spacious, well equipped and lovely view of the pretty flower beds. Very nice and helpful hosts, historic renovated old hotel, great location - highly recommend
