Service was good, facilities and cleanliness was avarage, not a top rate but are reflceting to the price. It's ok for what we paid.

The room is clean and tidy. The only negative part is no free wifi.

Clean and helpfull staff. Check in smooth and easy access to city 20 minutes walking.

Surprisingly good clean warm and nice tv plus a great Italian next door!

The travelodge in Durham is a good place to stay in Durham if you need no frills, reliable accommodation for a few nights. I stayed in the annex which is very quiet and set back from the main roads. The room is reasonably sized and the bathroom was clean and perfectly usable. The location is fine for Durham town centre- its about a ten minute walk into the centre (fifteen if you want the cathedral etc). The wifi is good and reliable inside the rooms (though you have to pay extra to access it). Overall a good experience.

Stayed at this excellently located Travelodge. Really friendly greeting and flexible about arrival. The room was large and well equipped. Beds very comfortable. Large bathroom and good shower. No soap in dispenser unfortunately. Lots of parking available. Short walk into Durham, with lots of places to eat and drink. Only downside is only boxed breakfast available. So need to plan your breakfast if you want something more substantial. We were travelling onto Scotland, so do think ahead. But would definitely stay again, on our next trip to Scotland.

Stayed for a couple of nights to visit family nearby. Really good location, interesting building as it was an old station. We were in the main building which was quiet and clean. It's a real bonus that there is a lot of free parking and an easy walk into the centre of Durham. There's no restaurant for breakfast but there are lots of nice cafes nearby.
