Being new, the rooms are small, but neat and clean. They are very colourful, as you can see from the photos. There's a rooftop pool, possibly the smallest hotel pool ever, yet quite deep. Good for cooling off and for its views of the city. If there are sufficient guests, breakfast may be a buffet on the top floor, which is quite good. Otherwise, you only get to order a meal and one drink from the cafe next to reception. As is often the case in the Philippines, the choice is extremely limited in that case. It's hard to rate the hotel's value, when these are two vastly different situations. You can have 4 or 5 or more glasses of juice at the breakfast buffet, or only 1 if that's not operating. I'll be generous and rate it very good, but that assumes they supply the decent breakfast. If you get stuck with the cafe breakfast, I'd downgrade it to average.

I love this hotel. i have stayed here now many many times, and i have NEVER had a bad experience, so i thought i would finally write a DESERVED GOOD review. The Hotel is placed right at the heart of Dumaguete, everything you would want is with a few mins of the hotel, the hotel also provides trips to some of the popular tourist attractions. The rooms are always clean and fresh with daily room service, but in my opinion the only thing that lets the rooms down are the showers which sadly could do with more maintenance as often they are faulty in some way and poorly kept looking, but they still provide good supply of hot water. I have stayed in all of the rooms they offer, from their suite to the standard rooms, and all show the same levels of cleanliness and the rooms always feel welcoming. Free breakfast is provided and the restaurant is good and the food well cooked and presented , the hotel provides a full range of pampering service if you require some self indulgence. The staff are ALWAYS friendly polite professional and on hand for any reason and will always make you feel important and a valued guest. I have in all my stays at this Hotel had only ever had one problem which was dealt with professionally, immediately and satisfactorily,. This hotel is ALWAYS my first choice when i visit Dumaguete, and will continue to be so They have plenty of rooms and even as a walk in, i have never been turned away from being fully booked, Its always a pleasure staying here.... Mauvais choix pour ma part, maximum 1 étoile, situé dans le centre ville, l'entrée de cet établissement se fait au fond d'un couloir sous une arcade commerçante, pas facile à trouver ! Bon accueil, demande de dépôt 500 rp, pas d'ascenseur, ma chambre au 2 eme étage, on m'a proposé de monter mes bagages, quelle surprise, je ne m'attendais pas à un endroit aussi basique vu les commentaires et les annonces des escrocs Booking et Agoda; pièce sombre et vieillotte, il faut l'éclairage en permanence, pas de fenêtre, pas de table, ni de chaise, vieilles étagères abimées, même pas une bouteille d'eau ! 2 lits étroits, salle de bain avec douche. Par contre clim et wifi correct, ensemble propre. Vraiment déçu, de plus pas bon marché, je me suis bien fait avoir pas les avis de Tripdvisor....Complètement déconseillé.

I can't say enough about this hotel. Customer service was professional, efficient and welcoming. The staff never failed to greet me with ”hello sir” and wave and smile. Always helpful when I had questions such as ”what's the best way to get somewhere?”, Etc. Location is excellent with being close to the beach walk, many restaurants and access to public transportation. Property is well maintained and clean. My room was plenty big for one person but family rooms are also available. Only one thing that may bother some is the hot water was out for one of my 3 day stay. However this was a minor inconvenience for me and did not keep me from issuing this 5 star review.

We originally planned to stay at another hotel but it was full so we decided to try Henia. Overall it’s been a good experience and I think this is probably the best option in Dumaguete, which for some reason has a very limited selection of hotels. The good: - The rooms are reasonably sized. They only had twin rooms when we booked. While they are basic, they are up to date, clean and reasonably roomy - The bathroom is decent quality, with expected amenities such as shampoo, toothbrush kits, etc. The shower is spacious. - The wall air conditioner works well - They bring the included breakfast to your room. You choose from a number of Filipino options each day. There is no western breakfast option. - Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful - The elevator, which is a rarity in Dumaguete hotels, is decent sized and very smooth The not so good: - There is a lot of traffic noise - The water pressure is not great - The internet is not strong. It’s virtually impossible to even upload things - The key card is very touchy, so it takes a long time to get the door open Overall, given the other options, I would recommend this hotel

The location of the hotel is convenient since it is at the center of the town. There are a lot of stores and restaurants/food shops nearby. The Boulevard is within walking distance too. Though we when we park at the basement, it was kinda dirty and creepy too. You have to use the stairs to go up to the lobby. But overall we enjoyed our stay there and its budget saver. The staff were approachable.

Ich mag dieses Hotel noch vor, weil es sauber ist, ist die Lage sehr gut und ihr Personal zuvor sind so freundlich, aber vor kurzem sind ihre Regeln zu streng und das Hotelpersonal ist so irritierend, es scheint, sie sind immer in der Hure, Sie rauszuschießen...

Das Hotel bietet einen sauberen und geräumigen Standardraum. Es erfüllt meine Erwartungen und die Tatsache, dass das Hotelpersonal schön und angenehmen ist. Dieses Hotel ist ein Block entfernt von den berühmten Sans Rival Cakes und Pastries und eine Spazierweite zum Boulevard. Es verfügt über alle Einrichtungen eines guten Hotels. Das drahtlose Netzwerk ist auch schnell. Es bietet auch Flughafen-Pick-up-und-Drop-Services für php300. Es hat auch ein angrenzendes Restaurant. Der einzige Rückschlag ist, dass Sie die Temperatur des Aircon auf Ihren Gefallen nicht anpassen können. Ich denke, die Klimaanlage dieses Hotels ist zentralisiert. Es gibt auch einen Aufzug und Treppen, von denen Sie wählen können. Insgesamt ist dieses Hotel eines der besten Orte, um in Dumaguete zu bleiben. Preis ist auch erschwinglich.
