Luxe Stay Near Airport

Hotel is close to the airport, room was really acceptable with hot water shower, but the room was a little cold. I asked them to arrange taxi pick up, and the taxi was a little rude asking why I don't just take a taxi already at the airport. Upon arrival, they overcharged me for both taxi and room but I was too tired to argue with them (taxi should be 200, I paid 800, room should have been 1650 rupees, but in total I paid 3500 inc taxes).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a great hotel near Delhi airport and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The location was perfect for my early morning flight, as it was just a short drive away from the airport. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making check-in and check-out a breeze. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the surrounding area. The owner and the manager are running a scam. When I booked this hotel, I wasn't able to pay online like I usually do and had to pay at check-in instead. When I arrived at the hotel, the manager said that I need to pay about 1000 rupees more than the price listed on Trip, which he claimed was due to 18 % tax (even though thr price listed on Trip includes tax) and another fee because of the area the hotel was in. When I heard this, I checked for nearby hotels and found a suitable one a hundred meters away, which accepted payment before check-in. I told the manager to cancel my booking. He said that he spoke to his boss, and they waived one of the fees, but I was still told to pay about 300 rupees above the actual price. I said that I still wanted to cancel. The manager them gave me the phone to speak to his boss. I told him that I'm not paying any additional amount. He asked if I only wanted to pay the price listed on Trip. I said yes, to which he agreed. I then checked-in. I asked about the cost of a taxi to the airport (for the next day), which was only 6 kilometres away, the manager said it's 550 rupees, I said that I would use Uber as I knew it would be much cheaper. The next day, the manager told me the cost of a taxi to the airport was 400 rupees and that Uber was unreliable early in the morning. I found the cost of Uber to be much less and booked a taxi them and left.
