3-Sterne-Hotels in Davao

Plus points: -Hotel atrium and ground floor were spacious and clean. I guess the hotel's view is to make a good first impression even if the other floors and the rooms are not as professional in appearance. -Breakfast - good choice of food -Location - close to shopping ,malls and banks -Bedroom was spacious -Maintenance staff responded quickly to fix issues (and there were issues) Negative points: -Not all the gym equipment worked. -The gym was hot and stuffy. The aircon was not on, and if you turned it on you would have to wait probably an hour before it cooled the room down to an adequate temperature to exercise at. -The pool was too small. It was more like a plunge pool rather than a pool you could swim in. -No ironing board and iron are provided in the room. Instead you have to pay someone else to iron your item of clothing, and of course they only work 9-5. Not an ideal service for the hotel to provide. -The aircon in the bedroom did not work, but once reported we were moved to a new room. -The shower door fell off its runners. Thankfully the maintenance staff responded quickly. Would I stay here again? If I had to, is the answer given the relatively low price, but I would search other places in Davao first, with a view to choosing one of these first.

Red planets are budget friendly room, rooms are are small but suitable for short term stays, for the price it's good value. All come with tv, shower, toilet and aircon and WiFi. No means of of making your own hot drinks, but usually have coffee shop near by. Davao red planet is in good location and staff are very friendly.

Sehr freundliches und effizientes Personal in diesem Hotel. Das Zimmer, das Bad und die Anlage waren perfekt. Klimaanlage und Warmwasser zum Duschen sind genau richtig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war recht gut und das Essenspersonal bot uns sogar eine halbe Stunde früher ein komplettes Frühstück, da wir am letzten Tag einen frühen Flug hatten. Der Salzwasserpool war großartig, umgeben von einer gepflegten Anlage. Die Lage ist nur 10 Minuten von SM Lanang und 15 Minuten vom Flughafen entfernt. Unser neues Lieblingshotel in Davao.

We used to frequent at GoHotels (other branches) many years ago so I know that it’s a reputable hotel. But this time, COME ON. They renovated the exterior and lobby of GH Lanang to look new but the rooms are way too old. I paid 4,100+ for 2 nights and it was not worth it - TERRIBLE at that. I didn’t sleep well because of the room state and avoided using the toilet and shower as much as I could because just look at the photos and be the judge. Not only did it look bad, it also smelled bad. On my 2nd morning, I kindly requested for room service but the staff informed me that they only do room service on a guests’s 3rd day but I was only on a 3D2N stay so I figured I wasn’t qualified. I went on and requested that the CR at least be sprayed with air freshener because it was smelly (I literally told them it was smelly). They agreed this time so I expected it to have been done upon my return in the evening but unfortunately it wasn’t (still smelly when I arrived) and I didn’t bother to request again. There was no exhaust fan in the toilet - only a small window that didn’t help at all with the smell up to my last day. Note that there is no “main” CR door - only 2 separate glass doors, one for the toilet and one for the shower. So expect to smell your own poop in the entire because the doors would not hold off the smell for you, lol. You can see the sink from your bed because it was just… there. The only redeeming factor of that room was the duvet and 2 of the pillows (the pillow cases of the other 2 were old and cheap). Other small things I should note: in-room phone wasn’t working so I had to google the number and call the front desk from my mobile phone. I borrowed a flat iron and was quickly brought up to me (thank you, staff). I also requested for a towel change (just 1; there were 2) on my first night because the towels were giving off this weird smell. They quickly changed it (thank you again) but it smelled the same so maybe it was the detergent being used that smelled weird. I let it go. One of the bedside lamps had small stains that looked like blood, which freaked me out NGL. Look, I wasn’t expecting a luxurious stay. I’m a frequent traveller who even stays at smaller, unfamiliar hotels when on long trips to smaller and farther towns. But this was way too bad. I’ve stayed at many rooms like that of what I experienced with GH but I only paid 800-1,000/night so who am I to complain? With GoHotels, I expected more because it’s a Robinson’s property. Heck, Gokongwei group had an advertisement at the lobby so I expected a decent stay at bare minimum! With that experience, I will NEVER stay at ANY GoHotels again and will probably avoid Summit hotels too because it was being advertised at the lobby and I don’t wanna risk paying more money for another sub-par experience. P.S. I cannot comprehend how others have recently rated GH Lanang with 5 stars LOL

Sehr schönes Hotel, jeder sehr freundlich, wir genossen es sehr. Services waren sehr gut, Einrichtungen waren auch sehr gut und wir genossen alle filippinischen Frühstücken, die wir hatten. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel, das im Zentrum von allem und auch sehr ruhig für seine Lage ist. Danke für die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter.

Ich habe drei Nächte gelebt, etwa 2000 Yen. Wie jeder schrieb, wenn Sie keine Geschenke verlangen, denke ich, wenn dieser Preis berechtigt ist. Guter Preis, die Lage im Zentrum der Stadt. Es gibt Kolonialgebäude mit Innengartenpool und Treppen. kostenloses Frühstück, nicht viele, kann man wählen. Sie können auf einem Bildschirmfernsehen kabelfernsehen sehen. Die Mitarbeiterservice ist sehr gut. Die schlechten Einrichtungen sind nur Schalen, Taschen mit Haarwasser und Taschen mit Seife. Keine Schalen, Safe, elektrisches Warmwasser und Badewanne. Luxus-Zweibett hat einen Kühlschrank, aber ein Fehler. Unwillkürlich in den Pool. Keine Elektronik (helfen Sie mir beim Einloggen das Gepäck zu bewegen). WLAN-Verbindung ist sehr gut, aber sehr langsam. Ähnlich. Wenn ich nächstes Mal DVO ankomme, möchte ich andere gleichwertige Hotels oder Airbnb vergleichen.

Ich habe letzte Oktober 2019 für 4 Nächte hier geblieben. Ich habe für ein Doppelzimmer in diesem Hotel gebucht, der Raum ist nur ok. Es hat ein Doppelbett, 1 Seitentisch, Arbeitstisch, Flachbild-TV mit einigen Kanälen, heißen und kalten Duschen und Handtüchern und kostenlose Toiletten (Gewebe und Seife). Reinigung ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5): Ich habe nur 3 bewertet, weil es ein bisschen merkwürdiger Geruch beim Eintritt ins Zimmer gibt. Die Komfortablen, Blätter, Kleider und Schleifen haben alte Farben und Geruch. Der Boden ist auch Staub und die Dusche und Fässer sind etwas rustig. Komfort ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5): Die Matratze selbst ist komfortabel und die Klimaanlage funktioniert richtig, aber wie oben erwähnt, riechen die Blätter alt. Services ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): Ich liebe ihre Dienste. Besonders die Vorderbüros (Apple und ich haben den Namen der anderen vergaßen zu fragen), sind sehr professionell und beherbergend. Wir haben sie oft um Richtungen gefragt und sie haben uns immer eine detaillierte gegeben. Also haben wir nicht verloren, um Davao zu kommen. Das Restaurantpersonal ist auch sehr gut zu bestellen und die Lebensmitteldienstleistungen sind sehr schnell. Lebensmittel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): Wir essen hier jeden Tag für unsere kostenlose Frühstück und alle gepflasterten Mahlzeiten, die ich bestellt habe, bin ich sehr zufrieden. Sie servierten das Essen reichlich und haben jeden Morgen sogar unli Kaffee gebraut. Lage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5): Ich kann sagen, dass dieses Hotel in einer sehr strategischen Lage ist, weil es nahe an einige der touristischen Zielorte von Davao wie People’s Park, Roxas Night Market, Bankerohan Public Market ist. Es ist auch sehr nahe an vielen Restaurants und einige der Jeeps und Taxirouten (To Eden Naturpark (Toril bound), To Jack’s Ridge (Morgen bound) sind nur einen Spaziergang oder nur vor oder vor dem Hotel.

Ich habe hier eine Nacht bei Davao Royal Suites verbracht. Das Personal hier war sehr angenehmen. Bier war günstig und der Ort ist nahe einer Menge Transportterminals. Der Ort ist sauber und das Zimmer war günstig. Ich werde hier sicher zurückgehen, wenn ich Davao besuche. Ein Muss zu versuchen ist ihr Davao Longganisa zum Frühstück.

Schöne Lage. In der Nähe von Davao City Hall und San Pedro Kirche. In der Nähe von McDonald und 7/11 Lager. In der Nähe des öffentlichen Marktes und der Gemüsegeschäfte. Ausstattung muss verbessert werden, wie die Notwendigkeit, die Türmat, Hanger, Hangerrack und Badgewebe zu bieten. Der WLAN-Verbindung ist nicht so gut im 2. Stock. Personal ist freundlich, aber es muss mehr auf den öffentlichen Verkehr ausgerichtet werden, wie man mit öffentlichen Fahrzeugen zu einem bestimmten Ort zu kommen. So können sie mehr helfen. Haben nicht versucht, ihre Mahlzeiten. Die Klimaanlage ist gut. Das Bett ist breit genug für zwei. Die Dusche ist heiß und kalt. Die Drinage im Badezimmer ist ok.

This 70 + year old hotel surely exceeded my expectations. The check-in process was straight forward and simple so I quickly found myself in my room. This room was nicely furnished and newly renovated with all the standard necessary amenities. Very comfortable king sized bed with very clean sheets and pillows. A couple of bedside light switches were broken though. The bathroom was very clean, with ample supply of towels and toiletries. The dinning area where a buffet is set up was cool, smelling good and no insects flying around. The staff was very helpful and accomodating. Very attentive service. Reasonable priced food both for the buffet and ala cart menu. Enjoyed the hotel's bar at night. The Blue Moon. Drinks and karaoke. There is no swimming pool. There is a large garden where one can eat al fresco. Overall a very good experience.
