Checked in at Premier Inn Dartford at 3pm Thursday 5th of November 2024. In the room we found out room heating could not be switched on. Went to reception and was told they would reset the system. Waited the 15 minutes we were told to but still no heat. Repeated that exercise, waited 20 minutes, still no heat. Went back to reception and was offered a change of room, which we accepted. This room appeared to be an updated room because everything looked very new and fresh and had a more up-to-date heating controller. Again, no heat, system would only blow cold air even when heat was selected and allowed to run for an hour. At this point, we gave up and had showers in a room in which we would have liked to have had some heat. It was warmer in the corridors than in our room. Reception staff were excellent in trying to obtain heating but they seem to have been unable to for some reason out of their control. Otherwise, room and hotel generally very good, very clean.
