There should improve on their breakfast . I like tea or coffee but on the morning of 1 January the tea i was given if i am not mistaken with measurements it was 150mls in a very tiny cup. I think there should be an upgrade on quality of breakfast which i think was down graded compared to the previous breakfast i had in August 2022. At that time and day in August it was a buffet

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas älter allerdings gut gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer entsprechen dem europäischen Standard. einziger Mangel sind die nicht 100% Insektensicheren Netzte an den Fenstern so dass sich Nachts ab und an doch ein Moskito ins Zimmer verirrt(wenn man mit Klimaanlage schläft kein Problem). Und im Zimmer gab es keine Rauchmelder, Halterung zwar vorhanden aber das Gerät fehlte. Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen. Preis/Leistungsmässig das beste Hotel was wir in Dar bisher hatten

I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

Die Zimmer waren sehr gemütlich und freundlich, mit einem Fernseher, einem Minibar und einem Klimaanlage. Die Toiletten waren sehr sauber und sanitiert und Handtücher auch geräuchert, wie sie gut gewaschen wurden. Ich mag es, dass das Hotel in der Stadt mit einem engen Zugang zu einer Vielzahl wichtiger Orte, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ist. Ich war in einem nicht rauchenden Zimmer und konnte Rauchen aus anderen Zimmern stinken. Ich habe die Rezeption gebeten, mein Zimmer zu ändern, was sie getan haben.

Ich habe Kuchen für verschiedene Feiern bestellt und es war immer eine wunderbare Erfahrung mit Freunden und Familien, die die Kuchen genießen. Ich möchte meinen aufrichtigen Dank an Chef Pankaj ausdehnen, der kürzlich die Puppe für meine kleine Prinzessin so gemacht hat, wie ich wollte und es sehr speziell für sie gemacht hat. Der Geschmack war auch absolut awesome. Ich habe nie falsche Kakaos von vier Punkten bestellen und sehr empfehlen. Einer der besten Kakaositz in der Stadt. Die Gastfreundschaft und Kundenbetreuung an der Rezeption ist auch sehr freundlich und kooperativ.

Das Innenaussichtszimmer ist nass, die Kleidung kann nicht drei Tage getrocknet werden, es kann nicht unter der Sonne liegen, es kann auch nicht die so genannte Innenaussicht sehen, die Zimmer sind hygienisch. Die Größe des Zimmers ist auch möglich. Das Karambezi Restaurant Restaurant ist gut, die Gemüse sind auch gut, die Umgebung ist gut, das Frühstück kann das Meer sehen! Der Pool ist auch sauber, die Fitness-Ausstattung ist auch gut, der Service des Kellners ist gut, es gibt auch ******* an der Seite.
