I have been traveling to this beautiful city of Dar es Salam for the past 20 years and have stayed at almost all the hotels and hotel/apartments that rate from 3* to 5*. I have to be honest that many have impressed me and some disappointed me and I could say some have surprised me, but I still had to find one that was 100% on point until I landed at Aura Suites. This place is in a wonderful location of the city, it is central and it can serve business people single or in groups, it could play host to families on short stays or those in transit and would also be ideal for groups of tourists. I happens to pick a one bedroom suite, what I got was jaw dropping and for a very very affordable rate inclusive of breakfast. I had what they call a mini kitchen but to me was a kitchen for a good 2 bedroom apartment anywhere in the world, I got a living room with beautiful furniture and a massive television, a dining room, a guest cloak room, a laundry room and the bedroom was actually even more than my expectation this is a huge en-suite room with a massive TV, closet, and safe box. The furniture and fixtures are all top notch and of high quality. The showers are rain showers with enough water pressure and hot water is always available. They have a roof top bar and restaurant on the 16th floor that gives you an amazing view of the skyline of Dar es salaam, the food was amazing and they have every kind of drink at their bar and all at very competitive reasonable prices. The entire building is immensely neat and clean it may remind you of a military hospital in terms of the precision and attention to detail when it comes to cleanliness and well maintained. Last but not least the staff are friendly, and educated with knowledge of what they are serving in drink or food which at times can be a challenge even in the top 5* hotels in Dar. I was amazed that the top management and managers of the hotel are consistently moving around the place and checking on the services, as I assumed these maybe businessman who are guests but very professional well dressed men would approach me and always ask if I am ok and how was my meal and my breakfast and or if I slept well. All in all they have me as their regular customer and I recommend anybody intending to visit Dar to stay at Aura suites

I spent one night in the Chelsea Hotel to do some sightseeing in Dar and it was very good for that purpose. The hotel was a little bit dated, but otherwise completely up to the standards which I expect from a hotel. It's located not far from the clock tower, which to my understanding pinpoints the centerpoint of the city. The actual sights I went to see started further away, about 20 minutes by foot. The room was adequate in size and had good aircon. I had a twin room. I first tried sleeping in the bed further away from the aircon, but the air blew directly there, so I had to move to the bed right under the aircon unit. The hotel was located close to a busy road and the honking of the cars could be heard up to the sixth floor. However it wasn't bad. The breakfast was ok. It didn't have a very wide selection, but the items I tried were tasty and of good quality. Also the setting in the restaurant was pleasant. The only negative I have to say is the extraorbitant exchange rate. I had paid my room rate in advance, but I had to pay the city tax (1.50 USD) at the hotel. I asked to pay in Tsh and had to pay 7000 Tsh, equivalent to about 3$. My loss was only 1.50$, so it wasn't a big deal in my case, but the principle left a bad taste in my mouth. If the room rate would have been 1.50$ higher but the city tax 3500 Tsh, I would have left as a happy customer. The hotel offered airport transfer for 42000 Tsh. It was quite pricy. The fixed price at the official taxi stand at the airport was 30000 Tsh. On the way back to the airport I used a rideshare app to get my transfer, it cost Tsh 12000.

Das Hotel in Tanzang ist gestern Abend die erste Wahl, weil es nicht weit vom Flughafen entfernt ist, nicht weit von der Stadt entfernt ist. Das Frühstück ist auch sehr groß und der Pool ist auch vorhanden.

Das Hotel ist zwar etwas älter allerdings gut gepflegt und sehr sauber. Die Zimmer entsprechen dem europäischen Standard. einziger Mangel sind die nicht 100% Insektensicheren Netzte an den Fenstern so dass sich Nachts ab und an doch ein Moskito ins Zimmer verirrt(wenn man mit Klimaanlage schläft kein Problem). Und im Zimmer gab es keine Rauchmelder, Halterung zwar vorhanden aber das Gerät fehlte. Das Personal war super freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und werden wieder kommen. Preis/Leistungsmässig das beste Hotel was wir in Dar bisher hatten

Das Zimmer war sauber, sauber Paste. Im Zimmer ist ein TV. Das Badezimmer ist sauber, die Blei ist neu, es ist heißes Wasser. Von dem Hafen 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Es gibt KFC in der Nähe.

Daneben gibt es ein großes Fitnessstudio, und viele Leute trainieren, aber außerhalb der zwei Tage, die ich lebe, gibt es immer Baulärm, ich kann zwei Schüsseln nicht ausstehen

Ich habe Kuchen für verschiedene Feiern bestellt und es war immer eine wunderbare Erfahrung mit Freunden und Familien, die die Kuchen genießen. Ich möchte meinen aufrichtigen Dank an Chef Pankaj ausdehnen, der kürzlich die Puppe für meine kleine Prinzessin so gemacht hat, wie ich wollte und es sehr speziell für sie gemacht hat. Der Geschmack war auch absolut awesome. Ich habe nie falsche Kakaos von vier Punkten bestellen und sehr empfehlen. Einer der besten Kakaositz in der Stadt. Die Gastfreundschaft und Kundenbetreuung an der Rezeption ist auch sehr freundlich und kooperativ.

Das Innenaussichtszimmer ist nass, die Kleidung kann nicht drei Tage getrocknet werden, es kann nicht unter der Sonne liegen, es kann auch nicht die so genannte Innenaussicht sehen, die Zimmer sind hygienisch. Die Größe des Zimmers ist auch möglich. Das Karambezi Restaurant Restaurant ist gut, die Gemüse sind auch gut, die Umgebung ist gut, das Frühstück kann das Meer sehen! Der Pool ist auch sauber, die Fitness-Ausstattung ist auch gut, der Service des Kellners ist gut, es gibt auch ******* an der Seite. Wenn Sie Ihre Familie mitbringen, müssen Sie das Meer sehen, es ist zu großartig. Ich kann das Meer am Abend hören, ich kann das Meer am Morgen und ich kann das Meer am Abend essen.
