A sleep over due to travel, we decided to stay in this place among many around. Safe, clean and touches of modern look, reception welcoming smile, the place made us straight away at home . We were shown the room and luggage taken. We had a drink before going up and the service and smile of staff also gave us the opportunity to decide to have dinner in-house without going to look for places. Room spacious, bathroom clean, a/c, TV and all basically you needed for a short stay or perhaps a longer one. We decided to have dinner, staff supermarket helpful and friendly. The smile always there. The food aboundant and tasty. Overnight we slept peacefully and the breakfast was ready at early times good for our early leave. Many choice on table for buffet. We will return if needed to be in the area.

My friend and I stayed at Jaromax for three nights in mid-July on a brief visit to Dar es Salaam. Jaromax is centrally located, making it easy to get around, especially by bhajaji. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and well-maintained, with good beds, a good shower, and great food in the restaurant. The only downside was the laundry service, and a noisy first night because there is a nightclub within the hotel. It took me days to get my washing back, and one item had to be washed again because it came back dirtier than it went in; on our first night we were placed in a room two floors below the nightclub and endured a sleepless night of 'doof doof doof'. The hotel staff were very responsive to our complaints and both problems rectified quickly, including giving us a more suitable room. The hotel has a typical quirky Tanzanian style, favoured by locals, but also does a great job of catering for international visitors too. It is very reasonably priced, and represents great value for money.

A very nice hotel. The building is beautifully illuminated and makes a great impression. The room also - very impressive, nicely decorated, very comfortable bed. Elegant bedding. Clean and pleasant. The bathroom is impeccable, there is everything you need, but unfortunately there is no hair dryer Dinner from the card was tasty, friendly service. Very good breakfast. A hotel worth recommending!
